  1. Seeing Cass' origin story was cool. What was that? It looked proto human. We are in a comic book universe, but last season they showed us that Jesse basically grew up in fight club. I can buy it within the show. Though I don't know why he just didn't use the voice. He uses it to smoke.
  2. I love Roger and Franny plots. They always up their own crazy.
  3. What's wrong with people making a statement on how they choose how to spend their money anyway? Killer Mike had literally said that previously. I certainly don't fault Bill for sticking up for his friends. I adore Silverman. And Bill is right, as he has said in a prior monologue - you can't apply today's standards to what people did in the past (to a point). From what he said about Silverman's bit, and how no one was outraged in 2007, then fine. He's also right, as a comedian, that their job is to toe that line and cross it sometimes. I'm sure some social scientist has a dissertation out there about how comedians have been agents of social change in America, and have been a driving force in the world. I mean that in a good way, and I hope that continues. That has zero to do with Tyson though. Tyson was wrong on a technical level. Here's the thing - all of that stuff Tyson was talking about - people are trying to better with that. You have better medical procedures, better training; you design cars to be safer; there are suicide help lines, people try to raise awareness; doctors are continually working on flu vaccines. No one is going jack on guns and hasn't in a very long time. That's the problem and that's what Tyson misses. Tyson is just the living embodiment of mansplaining. He's the textbook definition of - this is more of a comment than a question.
  4. I'm not a fan of replay in any sport because I think it invariably affects how the actual people call the game. Really, the shooter had all day to take the shot. On the other hand, the forward has to pick up the sub coming on the field for a corner, and the keeper needs to be in position properly for a left footed shooter. Take care of business and don't leave it up to VAR.
  5. No, Bill, people were mad at Tyson because he's a boorish asshole. What opinion exactly was he expressing? That he can read data? And? Tyson is enamored of himself very much. How about you learn something about risk communication and perception? Smarmy bitch. Every time Mike is on, the show derails. He should just be a first guest. He killed with the house n word though. Sarah though I can see Bill's point there.
  6. She thought he was Snot though. And they did an anime style battle with cool visuals. I'm not sure how far into the future this was, but Stan has been a capable agent. Being divorced doesn't surprise me, but I have a hard time seeing him not being a lifer at the CIA. I suppose he might have gotten forced retirement or something.
  7. He forced William in the end though, didn't he? Niko 'telling' him to give her manual control is just like throwing the switch from autopilot.
  8. I was hoping they'd take a turn on the plot and have them be swingers.
  9. I think Jon was out once or twice when Sam was still on the show.
  10. I liked that he said he could beat Trump because he was taller. I think Trevor was correct, he could shift policy debates based on his accomplishments in NYC that might make it into the platform, and he might be looking for a more national role. I don't really have a problem with that.
  11. There's also the fact in terms of time that one whole season was only 4 days and there was like 50 years between seasons.
  12. I saw another picture of the actor playing Rand and he looked a lot better than in the article.
  13. No, they can have manual control of the ship from what I saw. Starbuck actually drove the ship herself.
  14. I thought Roy was going to bust out an "n-word please!" Wow is Tucker Carlson scum. Good point on Trevor - football stadiums hold over 100,000 people. So, no.
  15. I think the point was that since he knew the kid personally and basically was in his life growing up, that tempered his opinion.
  16. To be fair, they did scan the planet from orbit. Otherwise, yes. Not to mention that they could have contaminated the moon by landing.
  17. That's what I thought. The reporter went in and talked to them and they installed the thing in her brain. Same thing with the diplomat guy.
