The Show: Sad Pibbles and Happy Tails
Maharincess replied to dbell1's topic in Pit Bulls And Parolees [V]
Sorry. I thought swearing was allowed. I'm sitting with my 2 abandoned, abused rescues and yeah, it does make me mad. -
Did bad eyebrows chick really say they are there to be christ like? Seriously? I guess she hasn't gotten the memo that not everybody believes the same way. I agree, those eyebrows and can I add her hair should have been enough to send her home the first day. A couple of these girls look familiar. The token naive girl Lenore and the token bitch Kier both look familiar to me.

S07.E01: Bye Bye & Bon Voyage
Maharincess replied to cooksdelight's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
If Todd is going to correct the English or grammar of anybody, he should start with his wife. She makes me cringe. Apollo is already a step ahead of the Guidice creeps. He said his love of a fast life style got him into this mess. Unlike Kandi who blamed it on him being black and that its hard for ex cons to make it on the outside. Especially the cons with rich wives, beautiful home and a TV show. Give me a break. -

That scum bag lying bitch dropping off those puppies pissed me the hell off. Stupid bitch must think everybody is as stupid as she is to buy that bullshit she was trying to sell. Tia asks how long she's had them,"6 and a half mon...24 hours" I'm not a violent person but if I was Tia, I'd have punched her right in her lying mouth. I agree about the girls. I have tattoos myself but there's a limit. And everybody always looks filthy. I know the work is dirty but even at events and stuff they look so dirty. I remember an older episode where somebody threw a fundraiser for them in Vegas. Everybody is dressed nicely and Tia shows up in huge, baggy sweatpants and a dirty tshirt about 4 sizes too big. Those girls will regret this shit when they get older. Tanya's husband creeps me out. He just has a sneaky look about him. -
That's something I've never understood. If a person owns their own home, nobody should be able to tell them what they can and can't do behind their doors. Why couldn't the crew have just carried their equipment inside the apartment and started filming once inside? I will NEVER live where there's any kind of co op or association. Nobody will tell me what I can and can't do in my own home.

The Wendy Williams Show - General Discussion
Maharincess replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Wendy Williams Show
I'll take Jon over that shrew ex wife of his any day. Wendy is terrible at her job. Watching her mess up her own game with the Hot in Cleveland cast over and over again was painful. She never seems prepared, gets names, dates and facts wrong constantly and just all around sucks ass in my opinion. She looks like a ridiculous cartoon character and the way she does that weird walk to her chair annoys the crap out of me. She really does think think she's just the cutest thing doesn't she? Puke. -

He's not a bad one to have a sex dream about. After all he was very well known for his, uh....endowment. -
S06.E17: Reunion Part 2

I don't even care if Teresa ever apologizes. All I want is for her to stop treating the public like we're fucking idiots by repeatedly saying she didn't understand and denying everything. I just want her to FINALLY take responsibility for something and say "Yes..I did this. I understood what I was doing and I was wrong. I was greedy and did the wrong thing" I would actually have a tiny bit of respect for her if she said something like that but her blame shifting and denials make me sick. -
Well, Kate has been called anorexic all season simply because she's thin. Us thin or underweight women get shit constantly and that's just fine but if somebody says anything about an overweight person, its wrong. I fail to see the difference. And come on, these people were large and they ate constantly, how is calling them eaters "fat shaming"?

I've been reading a lot about it and everything I'm reading points to it being fake. Its being said it was written by a woman named Beatrice Sparks. Apparently she's done a few books similar to Go Ask Alice. Its still one of my favorite books though.

Great books you've all chosen. I love hearing about how a certain book changed a person or made them look at things differently. Thanks for sharing. Flowers in the Attic is one of my favorites from my teen years. I was 14 the year it came out, it definitely made the rounds at school. I think every female in my high school read it. I also loved Go Ask Alice. I was disappointed to find out that it was fake though. The Outsiders is another good one. Both of my kids enjoyed that one too. My kids are grown now and are avid readers like I am. I average about a book a week. When my kids were young, every Friday we had reading nights. We would have a fire in the fireplace, turn the TV off and the three of us would read our books. We'd read to ourselves for about an hour, then take turns reading to each other. I'm glad I instilled a love of reading in them at a young age. Most of their books these days are on E Readers. I have a Kindle and get a lot of books on that, but my favorite thing will always be spending the afternoon at the used book store and loading up on books. The Kindle is nice but there's nothing like the feel of a real book in my hands. I guess I'm just old fashioned.

Thanks for the BFE explanation. We always called it Bum Fuck Arkansas.

I've seen BFE here a few times, what does it mean?

I have a question about the way they invite people to these weddings. Does anybody know how/if a guest list is enforced? If they send out thousands of invitations and announce it online how could they enforce it? I just wonder if a group of us could tease our hair, put on a faded denim skirt, wrinkled top and flip flops and crash the wedding? I think about weird shit late at night when my insomnia hits.

Is there one particular book you read in your youth that you feel changed your life or the way you look at life? I think that book for me would be Christiane F. At the time the author was Anonymous but she has since come forward. Her name is Christiane Felscherinow. The book is an autobiography. She's a drug addict from Germany. This was one of the best books I've ever read. I first read it when it was released here in the states when I was 14. It was just so gritty and raw. It stayed with me more than any other book I've read. 35 years later and its still with me. It changed me because both of my older brothers were on drugs at the time and they would try to get me to do them too. They reasoned that if I was doing the same things they were doing, I couldn't tell on them. I had always been tempted because they were 4 and 5 years older than me and I thought they just wanted to spend time with me. This book made me tell them hell no every time they wanted me to try their drugs. I envisioned myself living under a subway hooked on heroin every time I thought about doing drugs. Any time in my life if I was around or ordered drugs, I thought about this book. I've never done more than smoke weed. I've never even really drank much, I've been drunk once in my life. I give this book a lot of the credit for that. I read my original copy so many times it finally fell apart. I've never been able to find a replacement that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. They have a newer version called Zoo Station that I just bought for my Kindle. The reviews say its a sanitized version of the original. I guess I'll find out. Has anybody else ever read it? I know its required reading in German high schools. I think it should be everywhere. This is the first topic I've ever started. My apologies if I did something wrong.

I've never once had a family member walk through the room and make a perfectly timed, witty comment about a show I'm watching like so many people here seem to. My family isn't doing their jobs!

Season Two: Bring The Popcorn and Discuss!
Maharincess replied to cooksdelight's topic in The People's Couch [V]
I LOVED the old lady on the left talking about the person she knows who had gender reassignment surgery. She said he had everything changed, then added "still ugly though" I died. -
Its painful listening to Derrick talk. He takes really.....long pauses.....after every couple.....of, um words. It drives me crazy. Holy shit. If I was sitting next to him it would be hard to not smack him in the back of the head and yell at him to spit it out!

I still don't understand treating a person badly just because you can though. That's just mean in my opinion. If a person doesn't like how another person is, just leave. Don't treat that person like shit just because you can. Just because somebody is wearing a "kick me" sign, doesn't mean you have to kick them. Just my opinion.
-
Maybe I'm misunderstanding but why would somebody walk all over a guy or not respect him just because he's nice?! I don't understand that. To me the disrespect should go to the people who are walking all over a nice guy. Danielle was working my nerves the way she kept clinging to Mohamed. I bet he's never been happier to have his religion as an excuse for not having sex with somebody who looks like his granny.

Yeah....Michelle, nobody believes you're 35 or even 45 and nobody is calling you a "cute redhead".

I'm missing something. What site with the funny user names are you guys talking about? There's a lot of links here and I can't find it. Thanks! Never mind. Found it.

I figured this trick out on one of the Housewives shows. The teenage daughter of one of them was being filmed and she didn't have makeup on so she held her middle finger up in front of her face so they'd have to blur it out.
