After some internal debate, I watched this and was pleased that it didn't completely suck. I could easily FF the schmoopy Olitz parts and the rest was somewhat interesting. I liked catching up with the characters. Liv, girl when you hide from your friend and lie you know you are doing wrong. lol Fitz is never less appealing than when on his sanctimonious high horse. And going with divorce papers without even telling Liv? Big screwing of the pooch. She always says okay then backs out. He is so pussy-whipped I bet she was shocked he didn't cave on the murder for the Navy base of Made-upland, I know I was. Abby and Liz could be a good dynamic. Huck is so pathetic and now Liv doesn't know how to fix him? She always did before. Quinn doing the work of the whole team was good. I found it a huge plot hole that the Princess of Exposition had to point out to Liv, of all people how hard it is to be in the public eye. Seriously? That was weak. That should not have been news to Liv, the billion dollar mistress/ fixer.

I find Oliver's abuse of the English language kind of endearingly funny. I did see the preview where Chris says he is "literally" thrown to the wolves. I could only hope.

Exactly! Never read it better. The Morons of PC can ignore what Sonny does because it doesn't affect them until he has an enemy to blame. All they see is the good Dad, the generous guy who loves his family. Anything else wouldn't be a problem if the enemy didn't make it one. It's a common mind set for those that live in Compton, for instance. It's always the "other" gangs that are the problem. I don't agree but I can see it. No one but Alexis would shed a tear if Morgan had killed Julian but the horror of Morgan actually going to jail for it was typical and in character for Michael and Carly. The thought that maybe Morgan should not commit murder doesn't occur. Like when Michael takes over the Mob for a recovering Sonny, it doesn't occur that Duke, the last person that did this, is worm food. (spec) How they can't see it is mystifying to me and I think it is what makes the story fail. Sonny is not a good guy or even a grey character. He is bad and seeing the bad guy win all the time is not fun nor is it good story-telling. IMO I want to see Ava get Avery, not because she is any better than Sonny but because I want Sonny to lose. I would have been thrilled if Julian had turned the tables and killed Morgan. THAT would have been good TV. This is pretty anti-climactic.JMO

I liked it, too. But after the one guy said "Flubber" I couldn't unsee that.

I have serious issues with Wyatt. From the first time he appeared to mack on an unconscious Hope, I haven't much liked him. A few times he has been the better choice to Liam because Liam's a tool as well. He was instrumental in the takedown of the Bully twins at Forrester by screwing over Nicole for the Spencers so he may be entitled to some payback IMO Given that Wyatt was raised by an insane woman who believed the sun rose from his ass, his entitlement is not extreme. In an odd twist I think Liam is far more likeable, at least if you are not dating him, than Wyatt. But that's a really low bar.

He doesn't care about that. He never did IMO he took Avery because he was pissed off. Never had anything to do with her safety, no matter how many times he said so, or he would not have given her to Sonny.

True. However killing AJ was only a problem in an abstract way. Michael didn't really even know AJ. He was more enraged that Sonny broke his promise. To Michael! The important son! Obviously this is the sole reason he took Avery, not the Mobular stuff like he said at the time. I think that's what he meant by they both screwed up.

Boy howdy did I laugh at Chris' eye twitches when he realized he was likely going to be in the bottom. The butterfly was well placed and presented well from a distance (which should be a given but is not) but it did look scratched on. I like Matt but he really should have been booted for that. Atrocious. Duffy's was exquisite. IDK why the hell anyone would want it but it was pretty. I giggle to imagine what that chick will look like at 60. But to each their own.

I always thought it was inevitable that Michael would return to the Sonny Fan Club and I knew I would hate it when he did. I did enjoy it while it lasted. There is little drama in Sonny getting shot because we know he will be fine in no time and surrounded by the town telling him how wonderful he is. Not that it is news to him or anyone. The characters are and will be saying such stupid things to justify their ass kissing of the oily orange mobster and I can't unsee and unhear it. I don't think I will put myself through that but I will read this cuz you all rock the snark.

Steffy and Liam are scummy, no argument there but I can't feel bad for Ivy losing a job she blackmailed her way into. Ivy had always been a "do the right thing" kinda gal. I never understood her going OOC about this tape in the first place. I hope it's done now.

I would have been impressed if I thought that Tyler had done anything other than exactly what Chris told him to do.
