Maybe Nicole signed up as Meri Brown's downline. I could see Meri selling her a load of crap like "see how much money I make because of my reality show fame? So can you!" Honestly, the only way to make big bucks in MLM is to sign up people under you. The more downline, the more commission. You're making money from every order that someone under you places. So, you sign someone up who orders $15,000 in inventory, you get your slice of the pie. It doesn't matter if that person can't sell it, you've already made your money. Your downline eats the loss.

S01.E21: Tell-All Part 1/S01.E22: Tell-All Part 2
suzeecat replied to Drogo's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way
Well, all in all it was pretty boring. I'm hoping for a more enlightening Part 2. They could have saved a LOT of time by cutting all the waiting for audio/video/walkoffs to resolve. Jenny's neck looks at least 20 years older than her face. -
S03.E11: Hard To Say I'm Sorry
suzeecat replied to Drogo's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
Did the bar Tom took Darcey for salsa dancing not have a dance floor? Or was there a reason they couldn't film them dancing on a dance floor and decided to just dance right in front of the bartender pouring and serving drinks? That looked a little odd to me. Good or bad, at least Tom and his sister knew the moves. Darcy's extensions were ridiculously obvious. Oh yes, and then there were boobs. Tim is missing something . . . a certain . . . piece of anatomy. It's as obvious as Darcy's extensions. -
S14.E10: Big O’s And Broken Toes

It's sad to think that if this show implodes due to lack of viewers that Vicki is going to take credit, saying that it was because she was demoted. -

After all that "studying"??? Shocker. -
This is how Darcy looks on a regular day. Well, maybe this is a little too conservative for her taste, but you get the idea.

I wish I could love this by a thousand.

Watching Jenny crying her goodbyes made me sick too. I can only hope that with some time and distance this woman comes to her senses. Deaven and Jihoon's wedding was adorable. They are such a cute couple. Deaven doesn't understand a word that is being said around her so she's probably in a constant state of confusion, hence not smiling. Just my take. I predict that Ronald will never see Tiffany or Daniel again. She's running from a very bad decision and Ronald is on his own now.

Absolutely deliberate, thanks for catching it!

S14.E09: Miracle At Miravel
suzeecat replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Maybe I was just really super naïve years go when this series started, but I "think" I remember the premise was showing a privileged lifestyle that the viewers would aspire to. Are you effing kidding me right now?!?!? -
Couldn't watch it and was glad I saved myself two hours of fake reality. Can Dr. Phil really be surprised they got back together? After all, this is their occupation - reality *star*. What else would they do if they didn't couple and un-couple???

I'm wondering if Chelsea and Cole making such a big deal about the gay pride parade was their attempt at sending a message to Jenelle and her hater joke-of-a-husband. Leah's sister acted high as all get out when she was discussing the ultrasound. I feel terrible that I kinda hoped they wouldn't find a heartbeat. Jade is a perfectly appropriate substitute for Jenelle in this cast. Perfect.

I gotta give TLC credit for rounding up this group of - ummm, misfits (to put it nicely). And I thought that *I* had made some bad decisions in my life! Eesh! If Jenny sticks with Sumit she deserves everything she gets! Stupid, stupid, stupid woman, how many people have told you this was a mistake?!?! Like, every single person you have talked to? I am totally confused about Tiffany, although I shouldn't be. She says she's going/coming back to America - for what? For a while? To have the baby and then go back? There is no way in H*LL Ronald will get to come here! I'm thinking she just realized what an awful mistake she made and is hightailing it back "home" and will deal with Ronald from afar. Ronald will relapse within 48 hours of seeing Tiffany off at the airport, guaranteed. She's been keeping a close watch on him and as soon as she's out of sight, he will think it's OK to slip just this once . . . I wonder if Laura DOES manage to find herself pregnant, if she will have a little purple baby? And call him little baby jiggy? I crack myself up sometimes . . . ! Mother Paul just makes me thank my lucky stars that my sons grew to be productive members of society able to pay their own bills. It's one thing to cut your adult son off, but there is an innocent baby involved here. Apparently her only grandchild. But, good for her for at least trying.

I felt like Jimmy Smits was "trying" with the southern accent, then gave it up halfway through filming. I hope it stays gone, I wasn't feeling it in the least. The white-haired senior female attorney? I kept feeling like she was thrown in there after Kathy Bates quit. This actress was playing Kathy Bates playing the role of a senior female attorney. Daughter? I'm keeping an open mind. It's just the pilot. Off to find LA Law episodes on Netflix or - somewhere . . .

So, who wants to bet that the mom of that entitled 17 y/o moron folds and gives in to him without a blink as soon as she gets off that stage? Dr. Phil should have sent the mom to the PNP center because she is clearly missing some brain matter/plasticity. I don't know what she does for a living (120 hrs. a week) but they showed her wearing scrubs so I'm thinking maybe a nurse. I would not want someone with so little common sense taking care of me! I suspect this kid gets bullied a lot (seemed quite effeminate) and mom is trying to buy some street cred for the little tyke. Dr. Phil should have brought on a legit You Tuber to explain to this child just what is involved in making a living. He reminds me of a hobbyist who buys all the crap necessary to make whatever - paints, canvas, flowers - and then never does another thing with them, but has a warehouse full of supplies. And of course we can't overlook the "Cash Me Outside" wannabe-ness aspect. The fact that neither the other sibling or the father made appearances/interviews reeks of a big old Phil-scam.

I'm sure that the *real* winner would be quick to point out that it was a tie.

Ya know, I've joked about needing a vacation after my vacation - but it was a JOKE, said to my co-workers - when I RETURNED TO WORK. Come to think of it, don't you actually need to have a JOB in order to take a VACATION???

A Very Brady Renovation - General Discussion
suzeecat replied to MarkHB's topic in A Very Brady Renovation
I didn't think too much of The Brady Bunch back in the day but did watch it occasionally. I'm really enjoying the nostalgia of it all now, though. I love all the stories about how they are recreating the sets, finding or making the furniture and décor, and watching the actors enjoying their memories. I also love the crazy trivia like the fact that the bathroom didn't actually have a toilet and the ranch house they showed from the front turned into a two-story once you got inside through the magic of tv. Edited to add: I'm also impressed that HGTV was able to get all six kids on board. If I remember correctly, some of them turned down appearances in the movies and other specials. -
Try getting people to cooperate and work this hard under pressure for a broke-ass stranger without a camera crew around. They may not know exactly who this guy is (I wouldn't even if he told me his real name), but they sure as heck know it's for a reality show and at the very least this is their shot at reality show fame.

S14.E07: Dance Like No One Is Watching
suzeecat replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I enjoyed watching Brownwind having fun in that extreme suite in Las Vegas. I would be the same way. -
Seriously! How can these people fight about everything and nothing?!?! It's exhausting. I was watching last night thinking "what exactly do these women cavorting around Costa Rica (with no children) have to do with being a Teen Mom"??? Why are we watching this??? I love seeing their everyday moments with their children. It's great that they get to have free exotic vacations but that is totally irrelevant to the show, but it just goes to show that their story lines are otherwise too boring
-
There is something wrong with every person in that scenario - mother, father, kids, etc. Everyone (except the dad who got relegated to sitting in the audience because he's not dramatic enough) was yelling over each other, denying everything the other said. Dr. Phil will either (1) connect them with Dr. on Demand, (2) hook up mama with the PNP center, (3) have Coach Mike tell them to talk to cardboard cutouts of one another, or (4) some combination of all the above.

Barb has one thing right: "Everyone else is moving on". I think the whole lot of them should be canned and start up with a totally new cast. "Teen Moms" with ten year olds is ridiculous and a farce. It's just sick and twisted how they have more babies just to stay relevant on the show and grab that paycheck. The "Unexpected" cast just proves that there is no shortage of new TEENAGED trainwrecks having babies. These "Teen Moms" have just gotten too big for their britches and need to go back to the holler and alleys that they came from.
