  1. Didn't go to Home Goods probably because they couldn't clear the rest of the customers to film there, and maybe the store provided a small (under $50?) credit for filming/credit. I've gotta say, I would love to shop in that store - I loved everything I saw there! I'm not aware of any stores like that around me, which is probably a good thing.
  2. Was thinking the same!
  3. I really want to see a reunion where all the survivalists can see this play out and speak up and refuse to ever do a challenge with her again.
  4. Well, I've finally found ONE thing I have in common with these extreme survivalists - that mammoth, black, furry spider would have freaked me the hell out! And, shame on me, but I giggled like a little girl at Trish and Jenn struggling to catch fish, and when they were noshing on those whatevers, I was thinking "DIE B*TCH!" Oh, how I want to see them tap without Amber to provide for them!
  5. I don't think it's right for the people bringing others here to think they have a right to expect their "fiance" to appreciate every little thing done for them, however, why are they all coming here seemingly penniless/broke? They seem to have had some success in their former land, working, whatever they were living on. So why come to US expecting a free ride and someone else paying for beach weddings, etc.? They know that there will be some period of time that they will not be able to work, why are they not planning for this before coming?
  6. This IS a joke, right? At the very least, some kind of stab at vanity publishing (even tho it is derogatory and sarcastic). And, why is this "new" dog posing next to a Christmas tree in mid-June??????? Did they decorate the B&B for the last visitor back in December?
  7. Sorry to be grumpy, but can we take the accent and other personal discussions to Small Talk?
  8. It was driving me crazy who Nick's younger, um, pal? reminded me of. I finally got it - Laraine Newman from her SNL days.
  9. Jibri's buddy seems like a real asshole, but he's the one with the money and the contacts, so . . . I'm thinking that Bini's MMA school is just there to collect tuition and tell you how you're destined for MMA stardom. We shall see. And, Ari, checking emails while playing with your son on the playground is not the way you work from home, telecommute, whatever. It is usually expected that you will dedicate a certain amount of time with 100% focus on your job duties.
  10. Mohammed thinks that if Yve learns more about his religion that maybe she will WANT to convert. Are you joking? What female, after living as a free American woman, would seriously desire embracing a culture that suppresses women to that degree? I remember there was a young woman from this franchise who did it, but it seemed more like she was following a fad or something. Yve ain't gonna want to throw those bikinis away, for sure.
  11. I can see John making regular trips downstairs to the kitchen for another cold brewski . . . And, having dudes over partying constantly. He doesn't look like the type to understand boundaries.
  12. I haven't finished watching the latest ep but I'm glad to read here that Jeff had to tap and that Amber has moved on. My heart broke when she overheard the group talking about her and her tearful reaction. Maybe her delivery is wrong but her heart is in the right place and she's working her butt off to provide for her teammates, while trying to remain cheerful and helpful. If she rubs Trish and Jen the wrong way why don't they just sit down and have a discussion? Because they don't want to hear what Amber might have to say about their lazy butts, that's why! I just don't get the Amber hate; I could see it if she was just lazing around shouting out orders, but I'd rather have Amber being bossy than no Amber at all! Trish and Jenn would have tapped out a lot sooner if not for Amber. To plot to leave her alone in the night is just vicious and despicable! How do you do that to your teammate in a place like that ??? Heartless and totally undeserved! I hope that Amber finds a better fit and would love to see them all at a reunion follow-up, after they have all had a chance to view the episodes. Steven with the piranha saying "nom nom nom" was delightful! I felt bad that he was so depleted his hands were shaking, hopefully no more of that! Totally superficial but I have a hard time with EJ's lumpy fat. It's hard to imagine a caveman like him couch surfing and eating Cheetos, but how else does one end up looking like that? (Trish too, truth be told, but I can totally see her couch surfing with a bag of Cheetos!)
  13. Don't know why but I found it incredibly satisfying that Alyssa showed her true horrible self once again. I was a bit miffed at the show for giving her a second chance at love with a cowboy, but she did not disappoint. I imagine she harassed the show complaining about how she got cheated out of valuable screen time and the show did their best to give in to her demands, and she gave them a suitable reward with more bad terrible behavior. I wanted to throw something staining on her "I'm A Good Person" merch. I was happy to see Chris and Olivia getting a second chance, but I don't see them sticking together. Olajuwon's tattoo on his neck has a big dark spot in the middle that makes it look like he has a hole in his neck. I have to look away, it's - yuck. Mark badgered the show until he got on. Lindsey was his "reward". She's no prize, but there's a reason(s) Mark is not married by now. I wanted to know more about the sleeping arrangements at the weekend getaway. How many bedrooms were in that place? And, who shared with who?
  14. While I appreciate every detail that the writers, directors and producers painstakingly include, I was wondering, and still do, why we had to put up with Mike stargazing with his granddaughter. They move so slowly through scenes like this, like we're supposed to be watching v-e-r-r-y closely for clues, but I think this was just a distraction. Or, do they call it a "red herring"?
  15. Koban can have Emily's boobees. From what I saw (and she made sure I saw it all), they were flat and floppy, like undercooked pancakes. Yuck. And, way to make your boytoy feel comfortable and welcome, by letting your family threaten him. Kara. Good times. Question: Is that Ari's bio father? How old is he? He looks like he's in his 80s.
  16. I wouldn't put it past MTV to pay for Briana's attorneys. She brings the drama!
  17. The whole time I was watching this episode I was wondering what attracted Danielle to Josh in the first place (and vice versa).
  18. . . . you said it so much more succinctly! 😀
  19. Sometimes I wonder if not having a real life, daily physical relationship with someone is part of the attraction and appeal of being in a "long distance" relationship of this sort. They can keep the fantasy that they believe they can be attractive to an often younger but always attractive, successful, intelligent, attentive romantic "lover" and suspend the reality of the type of man they would actually attract "in real life" (i.e. stinky deadbeat beer-belly freeloader). It's all about the romantic, complimentary lovey-dovey banter that they want to hear, with none of the day to day mundane life of picking up dirty boxer shorts off the bathroom floor, sharing the TV remote, thermostat wars, bickering over finances, dirty dishes in the sink etc. We see this play out all the time on shows like 90-Day Fiance, where people continue on-line relationships with someone they had a vacation fling with, then when that person actually comes to live with them, reality sets in and they find it's not as romantic in person with day to day responsibilities. Also on Love After Lockup (no judgement!) where people have "pen pals" in prison and plan this wonderful life after the convict is released, only to find that they really don't know each other and they had totally opposite expectations of how it would be once they were living together.
  20. It's a Real Housewives staple also. Staged or not, whether Ari deserved it or not, I think it was a disgusting display of anger on the last night she was to spend with her beloved brother. Grow up, sisters! Re bidet-gate, can someone educate me on this please? So, after you do your business and get your undercarriage power-washed, how do dry off? Toilet paper? I thought that was the point of the bidet, to reduce the wasteful use of toilet paper? Do people just pull up their drawers and let them absorb??? Inquiring minds . . . .
  21. In an EW interview with Michael Mando, he describes the episode as "operatic, symbolic and beautiful". Agree.
  22. So, in other words, 4/25 is an infomercial for Brooke Burke's fitness app. Got it.
  23. This deserves to be posted and read again. I woke up this morning feeling like I just had the very best one night stand with the most intriguing stranger, and looking forward to the next, lol. After suffering through most of the final season of This Is Us (the WORST season), I SO APPRECIATE that the final season of Better Call Saul is living up to my very high expectations. I continue to watch TIU because, well because I invested time in the first five seasons, no other reason. It's a disappointing, hideous mess and I will be relieved when it is put out of its misery and over once and for all. Those who bring us BCS know how to tell/show a story (multiple, interwoven stories) and use time travel as a true art. BCS is the equivalent of classic literature when compared to the "See Dick Run" of TIU. I feel sincere remorse for those in this world who do not watch BCS.
  24. I've never said this about this show before (and I've been watching since Ep 1), but I am ready for this season to just end already. What a clusterf---! I really have to chuckle about Mark, going back to him applying over and over to be on this show - be careful what you wish for, dude, LOLOL!!! How did Olajuwan get to the point in life where he believes that he is 100% right in every way and any other opinion or point of view is WRONG? Jasmina and Mike - just phoning it in until graduation/decision day. Steve and Noi - trying a little harder to look like they're "trying", but not really.
  25. So . . . if the BCS Season 6 Premiere happened last week, does anyone know just what was viewed? Was it the entire season? Or, just the first episode? And were attendees sworn to secrecy, or is there some recap/review out there, somewhere???
