He probably didn’t even know her name until she ended up in the ER with renal failure on deaths door, as he was too busy being enamoured with Robyn. It’s one of the saddest parts of polygamy to me, that it appears the kids may be sacrificed of time and attention. You’ve got an immature buffoon father running around trying to juggle multiple women (under the guise of religion), while always on the lookout to add more to the rotation, while the mothers are busy being jealous of each other and competing for top dog position and giving any remaining attention scraps to their gazillion kids. It seems the older kids (like Logan and Aspyn here) also have to pick up the child-rearing slack and also tend to supporting their mother’s emotional needs that a husband should be doing (Mariah), and the majority of them (minus a few favourites) miss out one-on-one time altogether due to the sheer volume of people. Remind me again how this lifestyle makes ‘each of us better?’ I guess us monogamists will never understand though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel genuinely sorry for Savannah, she does seem introverted and never had a choice growing up that her very personal real life has been televised for the world without her being able to control her narrative (the time she wouldn’t get out of bed and they filmed her in her bed as a 6 year old as Gabe was flushing her doll in the toilet, then the time Janelle informed everyone via Gabe that she has no friends or life and sits inside all day long, or the time Maddie left her out of the wedding party, spring to mind). Moments such as those would be extremely intrusive and embarrassing for an introvert to have immortalised on tv. She always seemed like a sweet serious and sincere girl who got a bit lost in the shuffle. She was the youngest for so long then along came Truly another little girl to compete with, as well as Aurora-Day’un-Breanna, then King Sol and princess Ari really cemented her place as an overlooked middle girl child. I truly feel for her. Side note- she has lovely locks, I hope she keeps them blonde and doesn’t cover them up like her sisters!

I guess hence the scramble to delete the incriminating comment 😉 I suppose if this rule does apply to influencers, companies could argue she has photographed herself ‘candidly’ on her personal Instagram with the product in hand and that is the proof she is using it herself (as it’s not a set up professional photo shoot). They will be given instructions on how to photograph the product and what to say, but it will be on the celeb themselves to do the posting so it appears to be their opinions. They will also be given instructions to monitor the comments for anything like the roommates comments, without opposition like that, it’s difficult to prove they don’t use genuinely use the product. I don’t know the specific rules that apply to influencers, but I do know they legally have to have the word ‘sponsored’ or ‘ad’ in the post if they are receiving compensation for it.

Ok it reminds us all of something different on screen! I’ve got the Spider-Man quote ‘with great power, comes great responsibility’ in my head 😆 They have the power, but zero responsibility to go with it. This is the problem with making stupid people famous but I can only blame myself for watching this shit show and giving them a power position with an audience.

This is why I’m not a fan of influencer type marketing. It attracts the bottom feeders lucky enough to have a bit of a following or minor celebrity looking to make a quick buck from the gullible (I despise MLM for this reason too). Fans love celebs having social media, as it gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a celeb’s personal life, they feel connected and like ‘a friend in the know’ having that kind of access to them. It’s very easy then, for a celeb to capitalise on their trusting fans and try and push product on their audience this way, which is all fine and dandy with me IF they have integrity and hold out to partner with products they adore, or use, or at very least, have researched personally. They lose my respect entirely with the overpriced detox teas, sugar filled health juices and waist trainer crap these reality stars all peddle to the masses, when it’s blatantly obvious the product has no use in their actual life and they’ve just copied and pasted the marketing spiel (even going as far to delete actual friends humorous teasing in the comments to keep up the deception). There are genuine and good (but gullible) fans out there that will buy something based on what ‘Mariah from Sister Wives drinks and says is healthy and she’s a wellness blogger so she would know...’ In terms of Mariah (and majority of her MLM loving family), it’s obvious they have no moral compass, integrity or duty of care for their captive audience or fans, they are purely out for the dollar and all they can grift, before the 5 minutes are up and they all need to try and get real jobs.

Here’s the heyday hair inspiration she can’t quite let go of - Then you see her in all her puffed sleeve glory for her wedding pic and just you know she was a massive victim of the era. 👏🏼 Exactly. Take the time to use good grammar, especially in a professional setting, or if you’re selling yourself to the public via social media. It reflects so poorly not too. I didn’t go to any prestigious college, just a lowly beauty school and even I know to use a capital ‘I’ in a sentence when referencing oneself and to use correct capitalisation for proper nouns and after a full-stop, (when I draft a post to my ten family followers 😆) It’s quite a feat she even manages this error, as most devices have inbuilt autocorrect nowadays. Since her uncapitalised letters are quit (😉) constant now and never used to be, it’s not due to the fact she struggles long-term with basic English like Mykelti (which makes it a somewhat forgivable error). So in summary, I have a few theories as to why she is suddenly unable to use punctuation :- 1. She’s now too academic to use autocorrect as she thinks she knows it all. 2. She’s hired a cheap non-qualified minion like Mykelti to run her social media (as she’s too busy ‘cooking’ #cookwithmariah and shopping for sneakers that make her feel gay these days. (And Mykelti did say she was an entrepreneur with a few businesses on the go) 3. She’s too lazy and self-entitled to bother with correct grammar as she lacks self awareness and genuine pride (most likely scenario). 4. Worse case scenario, this is a deliberate bastardisation of the English language (similar to the inclusion of random ‘x’s in words they don’t belong in), that only woke and inclusive people understand. She is using all lower case ‘i’s because capitalising them makes them unequal to lower case and this is divisive and discriminatory to lower case letters. It’s so ridiculous it’s probably true.

Still going with the ‘I’ve never actually owned sneakers and these are different’ angle. Of course you define them differently to us un woke folk. As @ginger90 already pointed out with her pics she’s worn plenty of loungy type vans sneakers in her time, is she really going to claim she borrowed them all? As a photo for her Instagram, it’s actually much improved and I think she looks good, shame she had to stuff it all up in the by claiming her shoes were for people who were gay. (I can’t bring myself to call people queer as to me it’s negative and gay has a happy connotation because of its first use 🤷🏼‍♀️) Seems she issued a clarification for us un woke folk who misunderstood her (that it looks like Mykelti wrote again). Mariah always seems to be all about overcompensating for her lack of anything truly special going on as person. Growing up in a bunch of 6 or more siblings of similar age, would have made them compare and subconsciously take on roles to compete for attention. She wasn’t sweet and gregarious like Aspyn, or articulate like Logan or sporty like Hunter, she wasn’t ‘cool’ or popular like the rebel and black sheep Maddie and Mykelti, her thing was always the dutiful homely religious daughter, when that changed, she needed to find another way to peg herself - enter the gay inclusive woke persona era of Mariah. Her negative personality traits, of self-righteousness and entitlement and her Meri-like ability to be dour, rude and blunt, have been there throughout her persona change and only became more grating and inexcusable as an adult.
