  2. He did. I remember commenting on several things he ate.
  3. Thanks. I don't watch Masterchef, so maybe she just reminds me of someone else. I also wanted to mention the hair flying around in the trucks. Especially the big beard and the guy with the blue hair. All I could think about was how much of their hair was going to be in the food. Blech. This group, in particular, should know better since they all work in kitchens. The youngest Boston guy reminds me of a young Matt Damon. I can't stop seeing that lol.
  4. Meh. This happens every season. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Im glad The Block truck left because the main guy was exhausting to me. He was always dialed up to 100. I guess it’s fair that all of the trucks at least have experience in the food industry, even if not all on food trucks. When I read the description of this season, I thought it was food truck pros against people who weren’t even really chefs/cooks. The wife of the main woman on the taco truck (still don’t know anyone’s name) looks very familiar. I thought maybe she had competed before, but then realized she’s on a non-pro truck. I hope all the teams calm down. There’s always some shit talking by one or two teams, but it seems way more this time.
  5. I went to the All Star board first thinking this should be there, but this is season 20 of the flagship show, so they’re not considering this an Project Runway All-Star season but rather a Project Runway season, if that makes sense lol. I think it’s because of the judges, Christian serving as mentor, etc.. Yeah, that’s how it is for any reality show that has an “all star” season. It’s just whoever they can get back. I also appreciated the flashback to the contestants precious season because it helped me recognize them. I don’t remember most of these designers personalities or even what they put down the runway, so it’s almost like a new group to me with vaguely familiar faces. I’m over Hester already and Brittany doesn’t HAVE to have a comment for literally everything.
  6. Yeah, out of everything, this annoys me the most. If the show doesn't have Isabella be a con-artist who's really from the US, then that is a HUGE fail on their part. Even a con-artist would fake an accent....
  7. I think they did that because for the first half of the entire docuseries they were trying to be “tricky” with the information so we all would believe she WAS an adult at first. I know that for the first 3 hours I was being persuaded into thinking there was something fishy with NATALIA based on the way the information was being portrayed to us. I’m actually pretty mad they did it this way because there are still people over on Reddit (and I’m sure other places) who are still saying she was an adult. I just felt that was a disservice to Natalia.
  8. I know there was a lot of confusion over Natalia's age- mostly perpetrated by the Barnett's, but when the PI's (or whomever) went and talked with the mother she confirmed that Natalia was born in 2003. To me, there is no question. The Barnett's were lying liars who lie to get away with all of the atrocities they did to this poor child.
  9. The actors were only used for the reenactment parts of the docuseries. The parts that weren’t filmed by the Barnett’s that the show wanted to dramatize but didn’t really focus on their faces. They showed the actress who portrayed Natalia interacting with neighbor kids, etc, in the re-enactments and it was obvious it wasn’t really Natalia based on her legs alone. Other than that, there were no actors used. I agree with your second paragraph. I also believe she was adopted early on, which is why she didn’t have an accent and I also believe she had early onset of puberty (I posted a link in an earlier comment about this). I also noted that Natalia’s face changed drastically as she matured. It was very obvious, seeing how much she’s changed over the years, that she was a child when the Barnett’s got her. Did the stair thing that the son (Jacob?) alluded to ever get explained? I’m thinking he pushed Natalia down the stairs. Michael is exhausting. I wouldn’t be able to spend 5 minutes in the same room as him. It was so frustrating they didn’t have enough evidence or whatever to proceed with the trial for Kristine. Can Natalia file a civil suite?
  10. Looks like a topic was created for the Curious Case of Natalia Grace: https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/139237-the-curious-case-of-natalia-grace/#comment-8025137
  11. All of this. Michael is.... a lot. He is so dramatic with everything. The amount of details he provides to all of his stories are so eye-rolling. There's no way he'd remember all of those details. He obviously embellishes a LOT to make himself sound better. The one that keeps coming to me when I think of this is when he says that Natalia's eyes "lit up" when they said the electric fence was on and dangerous. I haven't read up on this case yet because I want to see how the story unfolds in this series, but I am sure I'll be searching for more answers once it concludes. I wholeheartedly (at this moment) agree with the bolded section the most. Adult or child- she was neglected. The Barnett's took her social security for themselves. Michael had it signed over to him as "payback". I fully suspect that he paid the bare minimum for her living arrangements and pocketed the rest because he felt Natalia "owed" them. I also fully believe that the 2nd apartment- they left her there to die. Either by falling down the stairs, getting mugged/attacked as she walked around or just simply starvation. They were wanting Natalia to die. Yes, she was very odd and didn't understand boundaries, but it seems she was never taught. One of the things that confuses me as we look at Natalia and try to figure out her age is that her face matures during all of the years worth of pictures they showed. So, maybe she didn't grow taller, but her face changed over the years. Also, her voice seemingly deepened with some of the early video and then that interview with her in 2022. I still don't know how old she was, but they hung their hat on her going through puberty very early, but that can happen! Also, I found it very odd that they ALWAYS talked down to her like she was a child- even when they thought she was in her 20's. They scolded her and treated her like a misbehaving child. I just... I don't know. I do think she was older than 6 when they got her, though. Just not a full-blown adult. The Barnett's are by far the bad ones here. The Barnett's treated Natalia like she was a con-artist who 100% was trying to take advantage. I just don't see it that way. I don't think Natalia was a true grifter pretending to be a child to worm her way into a family. I think she probably has developmental delays- most likely due to abuse and trauma in her life- and she just went with the "flow" and thought that was what was supposed to happen (being adopted). Because of her upbringing, she didn't know how to behave in a family/society.

  14. I didn’t like this exchange because it just printed a huge neon arrow to the fact that Max’s hair is SO flowy and lose ALL OF THE TIME. Nothing irritates me more than people on TV with unsecured hair in professions where hair should not be loose (police, fire, dr’s, chefs, etc). I get it. The actresses need to be hot, but it’s so annoying to me. I hated this storyline with Josh and his mom. I always found Josh bland, but at least somewhat tolerable. But, all this “angst” was unnecessary and boring.

  18. I think Lukas hasn't been introduced yet. Just finished the 2nd book and waiting for the third on Libby. I'm wondering, if the show is renewed, if it will follow the structure of jumping around in time as the 2nd book. And with essentially all new characters except Solo/Jimmy.
  19. All of this. I knew as soon as that guy walked in that he had a medical emergency of some kind. I thought a heart attack. Faye is the WORST. Her long, flowy, perfectly styled hair all over the place annoyed the hell out of me. Sharon’s hair is shorter, but her unsecured hair always bothers me too, and her helmet jauntily sliding off her head. That’s safety gear. It should fit her correctly! This type of situations happen all the time in movies and TV shows. Yeah. I don’t know why Im still watching this. Started out ok but then threw in too much soap opera drama and really contrived obstacles. I’ll finish this season, since there’s just one left, but I doubt I’ll be back.

  23. I think it was just for the parole board. He needed to show remorse so they could say he was reformed and worthy of parole. I agree, but I think that he thinks he's doing it nobly to protect his family. Which, he's not. He's still being very selfish, imo.
  24. Posts keep needing to get removed because of references to the preview. There is a long-standing rule to not even mention "previews" in your posts. Even if you think it's nothing, any reference will be removed. Preview rule.
  25. This is how I pictured it when reading, too, but to be fair, I was picturing it more like the staircase at my work which just has the normal concrete stairs and wrought iron bannister, so I’m sure that’s a totally wrong mental picture. It’s just all I had to draw from I guess.
