  1. Oh, I really don't think that Rick is conscious of his level of attractiveness or sexuality or game necessarily. So that part of my comment was meant to be humorous. I made myself chuckle. :)
  2. Yes; that's why I felt he was almost seeking approval, but shy about it.Eta: but after that sashay he did into ASZ ("Good thang we're here"), he has to know he's got a little game, beard or no. :p
  3. You know, I didn't like him in The Distance (and I guess we maybe weren't really supposed to at first), but I warmed up to him a lot in Remember. When he tells the gate guy that "it's ok" and to let them in (even as Daryl is carrying dinner), and then when he shows them the houses and says they don't actually have phones. I think there was a bit of care-taking of them, and then some humility.
  4. The music reminded me of the "this isn't a democracy" music, but could be that was just the feeling I got from it.
  5. I think, in that scene, it's more Rick's look at her that gives me pause. He turns and kind of opens his mouth. ("Look at me! I'm sexy!") Ha. Maybe I'm reading more into it than intended. I just googled because everything is on the internet, and this is the look I mean:
  6. I was just rewatching Seed (3x01), when Carol takes Daryl food when he's on top of the bus on watch because he otherwise won't eat, he says, "Lil Shane's got quite the appetite." And Carol says, "Don't be mean. (pause) Rick's gotten us farther than Shane ever could, I'll give him that." I always thought Lil Shane was Lori's baby, but the way Carol says that, are they referring to Rick as Lil Shane? Huh.
  7. I didn't laugh quite as much this week: http://m.imgur.com/a/kKWns (Photo recap)
  8. In the timeline/universe in which they live, there is no zombie trope. There is no such thing, in stories or anywhere else.
  9. When he was in the shower, his backside looked blindingly white. Otherwise, maybe the layer of dirt he's been carrying around acted as sunscreen.
  10. I wish Eugene's default resting face didn't make him look quite so doltish. If they ever want me to think he has any brains, he will need to emote just a bit.
  11. The transformation people go through is one of the big reasons this show is my favorite.
  12. Just re watched. Saw FPP in the background when they go in the gates and once in the house. Harder to spot him without the collar. He just kind of blends in.
  13. He really does view the living as the bigger threat.
  14. But it makes for cool "whoomp"ing sounds when she shoots. :p Page to screen comparison: http://www.thewalkingdead.com/episode-512-panel-to-screen-comparison/ I thought Douglas's last name was Monroe, but when I posted earlier I mentioned Paul being that namesake. My mistake!
  15. I really don't think that name gives anything away.
  16. Dumbass Jr was Nicholas; Aiden said we met him at the gate initially. Maybe he'll die soon now that we "know" him.
  17. I love the look that Rick gives Michonne when she notices his beard is gone. It's like he's presenting himself and waiting for her approval/reaction. However, I will not be taking to social media to berate anyone for their potential future relationship to Rick one way or the other. :p
  18. First Church of Urinology FTW.
  19. I like fresh faced Rick against the well worn clothes. We've known himnclean shaven with his sheriff's uniform, and hairy with his nasty clothes...it's a nice juxtaposition for part of the ep (then he puts on the uniform again).
  20. I thought it was a toy for Judith.
  21. Aside from Daryl gutting dinner, I love how no one seems to think it's odd (Rick, Carol, or Carl). Like it's perfectly normal to be doing that on the front porch.
  22. I like the detail of Rick having a scar on his left shoulder where Morgan stabbed him. Thanks for that continuity, show. I loved this post, especially the last line. To think of how far these people/this show has come. The changes, people they've lost, who they were, and who they are. That's why I love it. Nice.
  23. I'm happy for the second week in a row. This is my show! Most all the thought I had have already been shared, but things I loved: Carol: her face as she gave the gun over made me wonder, but when I saw where she was going with it, I liked it. Some of MMB's better acting, IMO. Daryl: had great lines, like early Daryl. I hope he can find a way to exist at Alexandria, assuming they stay. Enjoyed Rick's haircut/shave and everyone's reactions, and I squealed when he came out in the uniform. Not that I loved it, but how much the original CDB's have felt to see him in that? And Carl? Such an awesome call back to the early days. I so enjoy the episodes where all the characters are in it, and not split up. I enjoyed this one so much, it almost made up for that ambivalence I felt at most of season 4b. Loved Glenn. He'll have that job in no time. Yep, that is what I mean! I think the show implied that the couple HAD 12 grandkids, but that they were dead. Someone else already commented on this, but this is the big story. Finding the apparently most established community we've seen so far. Assimilating our people (or not?). Adapting. Like we saw Andrea naked thinking about stabbing the Guv.
  24. I totally agree with you, ae2. I just reread this stuff and I'd forgotten all that happened before Negan. I'm looking forward to it. I thought that Remember was a great episode, and a nice adaptation from the book stuff. I liked it. I also find it interesting how the show switches up such minor things - the leader here is female, instead of Douglas. Someone's last name is Monroe, which is reminiscent of Paul Monroe from the comics (Jesus, IIRC). Jessie cuts Rick's hair and delivers things instead of Olivia. Jessie having Ron, but also another kid. I'm really liking Sasha possibly taking Andrea's sniper role.
