  1. Wow, so did Cary sell Lana out for the leaked wire tap? If so then that's a ballsy move on his part to strike back at both Lana and Kalinda. So why was Peter's shirt off in the photos? I kept waiting for her to bring that up and him to say he spilt wine or something. I really wanted to hate Alicia when she laid into Peter for the photos and possibly abiding by the rules she set for the current status of their marriage, but then it came out that he was sleeping w/Ramona when she was pregnant w/Grace and I felt bad for her. I thought she was as hurt as she could get for her husbands previous indiscretions, but I guess not. I really thought Peter started sleeping around just a few years before the start of the series, but this now shows he was philandering all the time. I really thought after Cary confronted Bishop and got into the car w/the bodyguard that the bodyguard was going to turn and shoot Cary. I thought they were going to go w/the bodyguard was part of Bishops crew. It faked me out, so I don't know if I was the only one. I'm sorry, but where did the Alicia and Finn romance come from? I've never picked up on any sexual chemistry, or chemistry in general, b/t the two of them at all. I was hoping that when she was in Finn's office and was going to make a move that Finn would shoot her down and say he doesn't think of her like that. I kept thinking when they were trying to have Alicia re-create her interview in the new dress and she was struggling, "why don't you have the first tape play a few times and she can memorize then lip sync and act out what she did in the first interview while watching and listening to it." This episode really needed Eli and he was sorely missed. Can you imagine Eli going off on Peter about the photos w/Ramona. Once again we bring up Alicia's PAC but not who is the main contributor. I guess it was just mentioned in off-screensville that it was Bishop who set up the PAC and that everyone has already reacted to it and is considerably okay w/it. Okay show... Yeah, I was expecting Alicia to be more pissed that she was wearing a dress that an 80 year old woman thought was acceptable.
  2. I don't know much of Nicole Wallace outside of the View, I haven't seen her other appearances to know if this is a facade or not. If this is all smoke and mirrors currently, I really think the one way to get the real Nicole to take place would have to be for her to say something so completely right-wing that it pisses off the other co-hosts. You just have to remember that Rosie and Elizabeth got along until one or the other came out flying w/their supposed "truths" then it was all gloves off basically and the friendship outside of the show was over and the animosity was there. If something big happens and Nicole let's her true feelings known that contradict w/everyone else, or Rosie specifically, then we might get the type of show we had during Rosie's first run, unless she really has mellowed out.
  3. How could any of those sides she made feed the crowd that she had coming? I understand that the others were bringing food as well, I just hope somebody else made dressing and brought rolls. Ah well I just made it to the end of the episode and it doesn't look anyone else brought anything other than desserts like she mentioned. That turkey was even tiny and wouldn't feed that crowd, especially since we know how the Drummond men eat. I guess this episode was filmed in August or September and the "Thanksgiving" dinner was just for show that's why it wasn't an all out feast.
  4. Damn, that pic is downright awful. Talk about bad lighting.
  5. Lol, I looked Mr. Mesker up on Facebook as well. It's sad but this is the world we live in now where the younger guys try and take advantage of the older gay men who consider themselves less than desirable. I have friends who are all about this, buying the cute young guy drinks at the bars in order to try and get them to come home and then....well you can guess or think it will possibly lead to true love b/c the guys flirt back to get more free drinks. The best one I can think of was my friend, who drives a mid-90's vehicle, considered co-signing on a brand new car loan for the kid he wanted to get with. Thankfully he listened to us when we told him how stupid an idea this was. Mr. Mesker is a piece of filth, and i'm glad Judge MM stopped him when he tried to say he was religious and all that. This case just made me feel sad for all parties for involved...well except for Mesker, he's just a POS, and the ex-roommate doesn't look all that great either.
  6. For all that is holy I hope it is brought up next week as well. Can you imagine Whoopi spouting her "we were not there" and "it wasn't rape rape" bullcrap. This could be the thing that could have Rosie O and Rosie P go for the jugular at Whoopi. I have a feeling that Rosie will push for it to be a hot topic but it won't happen b/c Whoopi will shut it down. I could totally see Whoopi stating on air she won't talk about it and walk off stage.
  7. Didn't Whoopi cut Drew off b/c it was time for the mandatory commercial break? If anything i'm guessing Whoopi wasn't pay attention to the countdown clock then happened to glance up and the time was gone.
  8. I picked up on that as well and I think it has to do w/the personal Kellie puts out there, the trope of country hick/dumb blonde. Lots of women don't appreciate where some women can get away with that and get ahead in life where others have to work hard to get what they have and where they are at. I don't know Kellie or follow her but I have seen her in the past on other things and it seems she has toned it down, or at least she did for today. She reminds me of Jessica Simpson from the "Newlyweds" phase of her life where she took that persona and ran with it. I'm surprised Kellie doesn't have a reality show.
  9. Shouldn't there already be a case w/CPS out there for the Adam Braverman clan after Max disappeared/ran off that day to go to the museum and got lost? I would think the police would have to report this if not for the fact that Max ran away and was reported lost but from the fact that Haddie called out her parents about them letting Max run rampant in front of the cops. That type of argument would have/should have raised the eyebrows of the cops and made it into the report that the family was refusing to handle Max's behavior. I love that episode for Haddie in it voicing her frustrations finally to her parents, and the best part was once again Kristina threw shade to Haddie over this like it was her fault. At least Adam stood up for Haddie in the end, out of earshot of Kristina of course. In regards to parents using "buddy," my brother-in-law uses that term in regards to my 4 year old nephew all the time unless he is in trouble then he uses his first name.
  10. A part of me really wishes that when Kristina went to hug Max outside after saying what he did was okay that he would have pushed her away that resulted in her falling down or he would have struck out at her and some people on the street or in their cars took notice and called 911 that this boy was attacking this woman. Max struck his mother during the first argument in school, yes struck is a strong word but that's the word I used here for what he did to his mother. I really think that CPS needs to get involved here b/c to be honest I'm afraid for Nora. Her cute teasing of Max at the beginning has me afraid that she will do that innocently and he will snap and hit her or worse. I really think the only way that Max can be helped is if CPS gets involved and makes him, and the entire family, go to counseling. I really think that Kristina could be in a lot of trouble here b/c most of these kids that have seen Max's two times of acting out here...so far, would more than likely tell their parents and they would want to contact the school to find out what the hell is going on. I know Kristina is the headmistress or whatever, but I would think there would be a school-board that would have to have meet and discuss what to do about Max as well as the headmistress who does nothing but protect only her child in this school. I would think that Max would be expelled and Kristina put on probation or let go. I loved Jasmine in this episode, so grown up and doing what she needs to do to take care of my family w/o griping or tearing her husband up and down. I think my favorite line was her explaining that everyone will get their time to shine when it comes to their passion/love.
  11. I loved Kristina giving Dylan the side eye glance after she told Max off. Dylan had no alternative and was backed into a corner and became overwhelmed. The best part was Max left school grounds and ran across a busy street and Kristina got pissed that the cars weren't more considerate to stop. Seriously?! I wonder how many rules Max broke in this episode that would be grounds for expulsion if it was any other student. I was glad Drew laid down the line to Amber in regards to he is in school and can't just skip classes Bc his knocked up sister wants to go have fun. At times this show makes it seem like Amber and Drew are a couple that it's down right creepy.
  12. Well if Sherri did come back there would be major drama bt she and Rosie O since both have taken pot shots at one another during their respective tenures on the show.
  13. Lose Whoopi and Rosie P, bring in Bonnie Hunt and a co-host in her twenties to thirties like Ashanti and you cover your younger demographic as well as your minority.
  14. The way she came back looking like she was going to throw up and had been crying made me think she had to go down on the interviewer in order for him not to run the incestuous soon to be step-siblings story.
  15. Didn't Bonnie Hunt do her talk-show in LA for those two years? If anyone was the successor to the crown of talk-show host/queen of nice after Rosie left the air the first go round it was this woman. Her show should have been based in NYC and I think it would have been a bigger hit.
  16. I thought the difference was Star Jones was saying the names of products/sponsors/designers she wanted or was going to have in her wedding in order to try and get them for free or for a discount, product placement or whatever and that was what the hosts were now not allowed to do. It would be like Whoopi having a shoe-cam showing off her fabulous shoes and announcing who the designer/brand of the shoe in order to get a discount or free shoe....oh wait. Hmmm...
  17. I know this isn't news or anything, but w/the talk/rumors(?) of former hosts coming back what would others think about bringing Bonnie Hunt as a co-host on the show. She is such a great host and interviewer and people generally love her, but i'm wonder if she burned her bridges w/Babs when she pissed her off during that one interview by saying she had a glamorous life. I just re-watched that interview on the YouTube, and Babs was such a c-u-next-tuesday to Bonnie.
  18. In regards to Nicole having to do the shilling of the products, I sure don't see Rosie P or Rosie O doing the "Must Have Mondays" or "Whoopi's Birthday Wants." The only reason Whoopi participates is b/c she wants free gifts. I feel Nicole has to do this stuff b/c she is low man on the totem pole celebrity wise. If they hire a fifth co-host, I bet that it shifts down to them.
  19. I'm sorry, but why is everyone saying HIV? I just don't get why that is a guess for Deacon to have b/c let's face it, most people still see it as a death sentence and if he has HIV then Rayna and Deacon couldn't get back together b/c the fan outrage would be immense.
  20. So I was all prepared to just delete this episode once they said it was Whoopi's birthday spectacular, but then Rosie O walked out and I was kind of confused as to whether it was pre-taped or live, and decided to stick w/it just b/c Rosie O was back. I'm glad they are continuing w/the youtube clips b/c I just can't get enough of them. This one wasn't even some spur of the moment slice of life, it was some staged crap that wasn't even funny. If i wanted to look at damn youtube clips I could do that...well right now b/c i'm at a computer. So now Whoopi has a favorite's thing list? Oprah she ain't that's for damn sure. I'm guessing that Whoopi picks out a few favorite things that she has seen or heard about but doesn't want to spend any of her money on so she can get them for free. I feel bad for Nicole having to do this shilling crap for this show just b/c she is the new kid on the block basically. When they revealed that the last gift was that Nexus tablet or whatever it was and the audience gasped and cheered, I have to say a large part of me was hoping the audience wouldn't get any of the gifts...or maybe just the socks. I'm so glad that we were reminded that Whoopi is an EGOT winner based off that cake. I almost forgot for like a second there.
  21. Okay, i'm confused here. I thought when we met Kiley she got a quick job to make some money so they could move to Tulsa to be w/this guy she had met online. So she obviously had plans to take her son w/her at that point. She made it seem as if they had all met and now they were both trying to work their way to Tulsa to be together as a family. Hey writers...a more plausible explanation would have been that the Tulsa guy changed his mind and decided he wasn't ready to be w/someone who had kids, therefore he was either being honest or using that as an excuse to dump Kiley. I still think this will go the old soap opera trope of Kiley knowing Gunnar is in Nashville, meets up w/him and leads him to believe the kid is Gunnar's, let's Gunnar bond w/said kid then bolts town to be w/new guy, and then months down the road decides to come back for said kid to join her in her new life and when Gunnar says no that she is crazy, she drops the bombshell that he isn't the father...dun...dun..dunn. I'm guessing Zooey bolts b/c she isn't ready to be a mom, but Scarlett steps up and the three of them form a bond b/c guess what...the "son" can harmonize and then Gunnar, Scarlett, and Micah can be a new version of Dr. Fünke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution. Just an idea i'm throwing out there. Was I the only one that thought Will and Layla showed up at that red carpet event I thought it was for the premier for the Patsy Cline biopic that Juliette had done. Hands...? Speaking of those two, I see a shattered Layla doing a murder-suicide in regards to her life going down in even more shambles from this reality show. Spoiler alert...i'm guessing that bitch producer will have the Will announcing he is gay to his wife in the "privacy" of the bedroom as the season finale of their show and that is what makes her crack. As for Rayna and Luke and their incestuous brood, I just don't give a damn. I agree though that the Rolling Stone guy will throw that little tidbit in his article or let it leak elsewhere.
  22. I love the tweet you sent RogerFromOhio, but as we are told ad nauseam daily she don't care about what we think or tweet to her. That being said...I would love for her to bring it up tomorrow in some form. What is this now, day two of vibrator talk? I said before that if Rosie O were the one talking about vibrators, the outrage across the nation would be immense and she would be forced to issue an apology.
  23. To think, based off of the part of the video that was shown on the View, it seems that girl and her friends started the argument w/the guy b/c she hated his 8 ball jacket and his hat. I swear the world today...hell in a hand basket. Is it bad that I keep replaying the video over and over just to hear that guys hand connect w/that girls face. Talk about a slap heard round the world. I've seen it posted that she had the soul slapped out of her. Oh well...
  24. The thing is I could believe that they might be trying to get Joy back on the show, she meshes well w/everyone on there, but the fact they said they are trying to woo Sherri back is what makes me think the article is crap. Didn't someone say at one point that Sherri was telling people that she has the option to come back in the future as a host or something along those lines, in other words she wasn't fired and she chose to leave the show. Personally I would like after this season if they could get Meredith back as the moderator. I've heard her show isn't doing too well and it might not be picked up for a second season, but then again I don't know how long her contract is w/NBC still. I think a show w/Meredith, Nicole, and Rosie O as well as a new young host to reach that demographic would work out well. I still can't believe that someone thought it would be a good idea to have two hosts w/the same first name would be a good idea. Anyways, as to not derail the topic as i'm not sure if this is where that topic can be discussed really... In regards to the hot topic about some men taking time off/maternity leave when there is a newborn, just what was Whoopi screaming and hollering about say now they will learn what's going on or whatever it is she was saying. It made no sense in contrast to what Nicole and Rosie P were saying in regards to women not getting paid maternity leave and this could change how that works. I'm a single guy, and i've worked in offices where women take time off for maternity leave, but I always thought the women banked that time off, vacation and sick leave (if they can) so they get paid. If I understand it, men can do the same now, based on where they work if it's allowed, they can bank vacation and sick leave to take off as well. I know they were saying women should be paid when they go on maternity leave and I don't agree w/that, but i'm not going to get into that nor do I want to start any arguments for my reasons why they shouldn't. I was just confused by what Whoopi was yelling about that made absolutely no sense to me.
  25. Well today I actually agreed w/Whoopi in regards to the subway fight. I've always agreed with that fact that if a woman is going to take it the next level by slapping or hitting someone to try and get their point across, they more than likely will have what's coming to them. When I was in high school I had a girl slap me in line for a church potluck b/c she decided to cut in line and I told her she needed to go to the back of the line. It was the first and only time i've ever been slapped and b/c I was raised right I didn't retaliate, but I did have to leave the line b/c I was upset. I don't condone men hitting women at all, but in this case that girl had that slap coming to her. It was so loud it was almost like I was in that subway car. Ashanti called it right on how that girl got slapped. I missed it, but did they say the guy was possibly special needs? I liked Ashanti, and if they are looking for another co-host, I think she would fit the bill as the young one. She didn't back down and let others cut her off or step on her words. She was very articulate and would fit in well. It's better than the alternative that I read that they might be asking Sherri back due to lagging ratings, of course all articles are blaming Rosie for the ratings being dismal....same old story it seems.
