Cast in Other Roles: I Don't Think We're in Nashville Anymore

She's 16. Isn't that about the age Kylie Jenner started getting plastic surgery?? : ) -
Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"

"Thank you." "You're welcome" How hard is that? When did "no problem" replace "you're welcome"? You hand me my change, my coffee, my shopping bag, I say "thank you" because I'm not a cretin. You say "you're welcome" because it's your job to do these things, and you were trained to be polite to customers. Don't tell me it's "no problem", presumably if it weren't a problem you would do it for free rather than for pay. If saying "you're welcome" all day long becomes tedious, throw in an occasional "my pleasure". -
It was Nadia, I'm having no luck finding her on Facebook but I keep looking. Where did she live? Besides Rentfree.

I thought Tina sucked, and noticed some line flubs from her. Paula and Jack were awesome. Glad to be rid of the lousy acting of Callum and wish he could take Bethany with him.

But it is your opinion that it is clean, it's her opinion that it's not. You're saying that you're right, she's wrong. Same thing. -
But the crazies we're seeing lately - Patricia Bean - are real people. I don't think an actress could portray that crazy so convincingly.

Embarrassing Moments And Confessions: We're Only Human

I was once getting out of my car at the grocery store on a Saturday. A distinguished looking older gentleman getting in his car said "Good morning." I nodded and half smiled. "Good morning" he repeated. To be fair, I was in the middle of a sexual assault trial and wasn't terribly trusting of the male species at that moment, so I may have shot him a look as I muttered "good morning". We both continued on our way. When I got in the store I realized "Shit, that was Judge X". -
That's what prevented Izzy from getting out of her hoo-hah.

I don't recall them ever mentioning that Ursula lived on the streets. Phoebe certainly made it sound like she was alone.

Or, as we like to say, For Christ's sake, would you drive????

But nothing you communicate electronically is ever truly "gone" (as I keep reminding my teen niece). If they're important enough, ie vital to proving your case, you will go to the trouble of having your cellphone or internet provider regenerate them.

It's technically still summer for another week, I don't want a f**ing Christmas catalogue. -

I arrived home to find the Sears Wish Book in my mailbox. It's September 16. I have nothing more to say. -

I'll see your Michigan, and raise you Nova Scotia. We get blizzards, and hurricanes, often just weeks apart. -

If it's raining, I'm using an umbrella. Actually, if it's snowing, too. I don't want my hair to get wet, my makeup to run down my face..... I'm superficial and I own it. -
I swear by my convection oven for baking, especially cookies and bread. And it is awesome for browning a turkey.

I made some tomato soup a couple of weeks ago, it was a rather thin bisque, which didn't really make me happy so I froze it to come up with a better idea. Today I defrosted it and stirred in a bunch of white bread to make a poor man's ribollita. Yum.

Damn you Bungalow, I was supposed to go to the gym tonight, but now I have too much reading to do.

Being stopped in traffic is still "operating a vehicle" which is how it is described in the legislation governing motor vehicle use and infractions, so you would still be breaking the law. Red lights only last a few seconds, then you need to be ready to move again. Get engrossed in your text, ease your foot off the brake, hit the car in front of you. Get engrossed in your email, don't hear the approach of an emergency vehicle and fail to get out of the way. Operating a vehicle is a serious enterprise and requires 100 % of your attention. There is no phone call, email or text more important (short of "Your donor organ is waiting"). -

Every single study ever done says that hands-free is not safer. It's the distraction to your brain that is this issue, not the use of your hands. And it is not the same as talking to a passenger, largely because a passenger can see when you're in a precarious situation and stop talking, whereas someone on the other end of the phone doesn't. Concentrating enough to dictate a meaningful memo or letter takes your brain away from the road. -

That would still get you a ticket for operating a handheld electronic device while driving where I live. Really. Hands on the wheel, eyes and brain on the road please. -
That was me. I was trying to figure out if we had a nuclear event that caused mutated chickens, because I've been able to find chickens with bones. I've never found a way to prepare boneless, skinless chicken that is anywhere near as tasty and juicy as chicken cooked on the bone.

Mind you, the WTA may well have some form of disability insurance for the benefit of all players, that pays out regardless of fault. I believe other professional sports do. For example, Bouchard lost income as a result of withdrawing from all three events. I have no issue with her collecting any disability/no fault benefits to which she is entitled, and which she pays for as part of her membership. I do have a problem with bringing a lawsuit trying to attribute fault and collect for her "pain and suffering" when it was most likely her own damned fault.

FFS, the spin being put on the Bouchard story by TSN is that it was after her press conference (11:00 pm), the locker room was empty, she was going into the cold tub room, there was no light on, the floor was wet.... There is talk of "legal ramifications". How about this - You're entering a room with a water feature and a tiled floor, and the light is off. Turn the light on.

Well, duh. I knew I had all those channels, and assumed they would be showing tennis all weekend, but somehow both my channel guide and the search feature were screwed up. Thanks, Bell Canada.
