S05.E06 Cigarettes, Whiskey, a Meadow and You.

I believe he's a ranch owner from another ranch. The old guy in the bunkhouse is Lloyd the biggest bada$$ cowboy you'll ever meet. Read the trivia on imdb about how he handled a rodeo injury. I forgot about the dogs here. I did mention something on my Facebook. I'm not an animal lover per say. Never wanted a pet myself, but, I'm against any type of animal abuse and them shooting "stray" dogs was heartbreaking. Mo is in a better position to determine if a dog is a stray or not. Wonder what the animal loving President would think of what they were doing in his name. Not a fan of him, but, I can tell by all interactions between him, Jill and their pets that they would not like this. I think Kelly Reilly got tired of seeing everyone else have fun on the horses and suddenly decided she wanted to ride, too. I didn't remember Walker teaching her to ride. I thought she kind of could ride, but, hated horses as evidenced in the scene of her mother dying. She feared the horse at that time, but, was riding. However, her mother's death and the way her mother talked to her made her hate them. Aaah Carter got a dance with a pretty girl. Good for him. He needs someone his own age to see him. Is she going to be his Beth? Really Summer, you couldn't peel more than one potato. She claimed to be up late helping Gator prepare food. We didn't see that. And okay, you won't eat the potatoes, which sound yummy btw, but, why can't you eat corn? Even if you won't add butter, just season and eat. -

As soon as Emmett said it was a perfect day, I knew he'd die in his sleep. So glad it wasn't one of the boys who had to be comforted. However, first I thought maybe Tate as he had just been fishing with Emmett. Anne Cullimore Decker played her grief well. I was kind of pissed that the news caught that private scene. But, the way it helped John in the end as he dissed the President's visit made me forget my ire. -
Season 6 Discussion: There's a New Sheriff in Town

While I agree that she should have been provided a meal she could eat, when she approached the one older CO about it, the CO asked if she had a doctor's note and she did not. I think the inmates should have a doctor's note for special diets. Anyone can say anything. Why couldn't she ask a family member to contact her DR to send a note verifying her celiac disease to the jail? Once the jail had it, they would be required to provide it. Until she has proof, they only have her word. And why doesn't the Production staff do mental health exams and get full medical before they go in? If my kid went to summer day camp, I had to provide full medical and physical forms, signed by a DR. -
I watch them on HULU

She did go. There is video and one of the defining moments of that was Hunter holding and bonding with Sol.

Trisha seems quite full of herself. The editors are doing a great job showing us that her female Podmates are not as impressed with her as she thinks they are. I'm not even 100% sure the guys like her as much as she likes herself. I'm here for all the drama.

I have two children and 3 grands. When the 1st grand was born I called him by both my kids names and the dogs name before I got to his. I felt like a fool, but, he's my little BFF now so I don't stress.

She actually told them to keep them on for the pictures outside. They didn't get 4,000 tacos. That's why Kody "had" to say FT was right. They were discussing doing 1200 plus a small percentage more at the taco tasting. Is flinging the lady around a Mormon thing? Or just an idiotic man thing. Remember when Kody flung Maddie around at her wedding? Perhaps FT saw that and thought that's how it's done. Oh poor FT, you just don't get it on so many levels, Christine did look stunning in that dress. It went well with the bridal party. However, a good dance partner makes it easy for their partner to follow along, not harder. The pinatas...I just can't. However, I did love her snark about polygamists should do one of the new bride, so they can beat her. Was she being a little snarky wishing she could've had a whack at Robyn at her wedding? Me thingks so. (That misspelling was accidental, but, in honor of Christine, I chose to keep it.) When they said they should get Kody one, I really hoped they meant in his image. I would watch the family beat the crap out of that all day and twice on Sunday. From the very beginning Mykelti wanted an outdoor wedding. Which is why she wanted August. The parents convinced her via FT that December was better. She agreed to December with the caveat that the parents pay for the honeymoon. *Classic manipulation on her part. I actually chuckled when she said in the driveway after the meeting that she was going to agree to December, but, wanted to see what she could get in trade. I was actually a little proud of her there. She learned well at the feet of her parents. A few episodes back when Christine decided to cut up her dress for the flowers, the younger girls G & Y tried it on. When she mentioned that she has a pic wearing it 8 months pregnant with Mykelti, Gwen walked away. When Christine asked where she was going, Gwen said "to get pregnant." I laughed so hard I had to pause the TV and tell my husband, who has no interest in this crap fest about it. Even he found it funny. I do have to say that Christine and her kids can bring the snark and sarcasm. May be more thoughts as I read this thread and watch the show, so there may be editing involved.

One of our clients moved here from Italy in the early 60's. She just passed away and hardly spoke a word of English. Her little brother, who was born here had to translate for her when we met. My boss and I are still stupefied how she has survived almost 60 years in a country without being able to speak the language. It's not like we have Italian TV stations, like Telemundo. Yes, it may seem Meri is reaching for the stars with her dream of the B&B. However, it's already set up as a B & B, which is more organized than Sobbyn's dream of MSWC. She's not asking the family to drop everything and help her run it. Let her have it. Plus, I think it being a home that was in her family decades ago means something to her. Despite the fact that the home my father grew up in is not in the best place parking and space wise, I would probably love to buy it when I retire and finish my days where my grandfather and father were born. Unfortunately, my aunt bought it from the estate and then sold it to strangers. I still drive by it and gawk sometimes though. Don't act all stupid like you didn't hear them say least season they were planning for 400. Kody probably thought he'd negotiate his way out that. Hey Kody, you're negotiating skills suck. For 2 fairly doltish kids, they are quite wily. Kody thinks he won with a December wedding, but, Mykelti said after the fact that she had already decided on December (remember how quick she came up with the 17th and that the colleges would have just ended for the semester?), but, she was holding out to get her honeymoon paid for. Mykelti is the new master of manipulation and Kody should just bow to her.

I stopped watching right around the time of Mykelti's wedding. After seeing that Christine left I decided to go back. A few things I've noticed: 1. Meri and Kody should have manned up and told Mariah that the reason they didn't get in the house by Christmas was due to their procrastination in getting their paperwork in. No surprise that Janelle was ready first. Mariah, stop blaming the underwriters for not getting the work done. Your family is not the only clients they have. They also deserve to spend the holidays with their family. The RE agent was very explicit with the adults that they needed to stop going to the sites and focus on getting their paperwork in. 2. On the Mother's Day episode in season 6, you can see where Sobbyn Robyn gets it from. Her mother was beginning to cry when telling Kody how amazing he is. 3. College costs - Hey Kody, you told each wife that they would get equal budgets for the houses. How about you tell each kid they get $X for college. Doesn't matter that 2 wives have 6 kids, 1 has 4 (at this moment) and 1 has 1. That didn't factor into the house budget, shouldn't factor into helping each kid with college. You know what, yes, loans are horrible, but, if they are that darned set on a more expensive college, then so be it. It's on you. 4. Funny how Mariah was the one dead set on polygamy and she is the one who is gay. Nothing wrong with being gay. I'm glad she was able to find her truth and her family supports her. But, she did a flip. She demanded Westminster so she could find a polygamist husband. Turns out she doesn't want the husband. I am not anti LGBTQ+, I'm pro and I support Mar and Audj marrying if they choose. But, she could have found that in Las Vegas (okay maybe not Audj, but, she could have found someone to love closer to the family). 5. Throughout the rewatch it's been Christine saying that being apart has shown them how much they want to be together as a family and she was the first to go. And she looks amazing today vs. the rewatch episodes. She is absolutely beautiful. 6. I avoid mentioning the 4th wife (except above) as I tend to yell at the TV and my language is not fit for public consumption. By the By...I had a dream the other night, that I was unmarried (really I've been married 23 years...24 end of March). I had somehow saw my ex boyfriend who offered me a job. I slept with his business partner, took the job and on the first day decided I loved my old (really current) job better. However, in my dream my boss was married to JANELLE. She had decided that she could do my job instead of looking for a new employee. I mean Janelle probably could do my job. I'm a legal asst. Boss was not particularly thrilled about my dream in any manner. LOL. Luckily, I've made it abundantly clear that he's stuck with my annoying butt until he retires or dies.

Been making them for years and just learned (on google) an easy way to melt the butter and brown sugar. I always make one August 3 in honor of my grandfather, who in 88 years of life only had one kind of birthday cake. -
Or in that plastic bag. That Emu is much cuter and Doug would quit before having to play second fiddle to Pole. for me the best grilled cheese is plain ole white bread with white American cheese. It’s how my gram made it and I don’t eat yellow/orange cheese because she got me hooked. I also only use white cheddar on my Mac n cheese. Just baked a pan tonight and packed me a lunch portion before anyone else got some.

A little louder for the ones in the back. I kept yelling just this at the tv. My husband is an amazing cleaner and told me not long after we were married he didn’t know why I cleaned since he’d clean behind me. Alrighty then. 15 years later he tried to change up the rules. Momma didn’t fall for that. I think Debbie is loving with Colt because her social security does not allow her to support herself. My aunt is on Ss and makes less than $1200 a month so she lives with her son. I suspect it’s similar with them. I’m with Debbie in Brazil. Colt has already shown poor decision making skills when it comes to Brazilian women and I do not like the redheaded braying ass of a Brazilian he’s with now. His ex can leave my TV yesterday.
