  1. And absolutely reinforces what he said. I bet he can't stop congratulating himself right now. *sigh*
  2. There are two show killers for me. This and L/O back together. If David Ramsey leaves, I riot. And then I leave too.
  3. I'm going to give Stephen the benefit of the doubt that what really upsets him is the personal attacks whether they are directed at a real or fictional "person". But perhaps debating the viability of a character in the larger terms of the universe, etc., and generating buzz is a good thing because obviously not everyone likes the same thing. The buzz is going to draw people who might want to see a train wreck and then actually find that they like Laurel, etc. Oh lord, she's going to be the angel on Laurel's shoulder as she goes forward in her hero journey. Fuck me, I can't think of anything worse.
  4. Thank you. She's pretty. But it's weird to me that KC wearing a more conservative Canary costume seems more "sexy Halloween costume" than CL wearing the cleavage-baring one. IDK. Well, I really want to not watch tonight. I'd rather not be disappointed. What else if good on Wednesday nights in that timeslot? Damn I must miss my punk days because I like that lipstick on her and loved goth Felicity's lipstick last week.
  5. Yep. MG basically said that they love it. Can someone post the picture that KC tweeted? I don't follow her. Thanks.
  6. Willa Instagrammed this: New costume? lol I only ask because it's so weird and her eyes look blacked out. Also the firepit is reminiscent of the ones at her new apartment, but there isn't enough wood around. edited because 3 hours ago isn't "just"
  7. Quick question how old was Oliver when he fathered his kid and Moira paid his babymama to get lost? Hey! Wouldn't it be fun if that little kid, (Taylor Lautner I think his name was?), was really Oliver's lovechild and that's why he chose to protect him over helping Diggle? Maybe he was adopted out by the babymama. Just watching that episode and the kid kind of looks like Oliver and is 7 I think. I guess I just felt like wildly speculating. Moving on...nothing to see here. :-)
  8. He's not a Kardashian, but TMZ has video of Brody going off on a pap in Australia for daring to ask him a question about what Kim would think about something. lol http://www.tmz.com/2014/11/09/brody-jenner-flips-out-photog-kim-kardashian-questions-video/ I actually approve. What a stupid question. I also thought it was interesting when he told his handler something about the pap wasn't going to listen because he "works for them. I don't support them, do you understand that?" Could he have actually meant the Kardashian machine? He mentioned at the beginning of the video that he wasn't used to people meeting him when he gets off planes, and Brody travels quite a bit. Maybe he thought somehow Kris was involved in this to get Kim more publicity. It kind of worked if that was the case. Way to play into it Brody.
  9. I have yet to see a picture of Kris and her new paid boy toy that shows any hint of true affection. This is a fake relationship with mutual benefits. YMMV of course. Before I am accused of any sort of impropriety, my daughter is of mixed raced and I have dated my fair share of different races. I have also dated younger men and don't feel that age is that much of an issue (maturity is far more important). The timing on this whole relationship is way too suspect IMO. She's suddenly seen with him a few days after it comes out that Bruce is dating her friend. Of course she wants to one-up Bruce by dating a gorgeous, younger man. And she has the wherewithal to make it happen. I would have been surprised if it hadn't happened.
  10. I agree with you, but I'm trying to think like the writers' might if they are trying to find a way out of this mess. I think it's more likely that she will be the leader and that Diggle won't throw any shade because Laurel is suddenly amazeballs levels of competent.
  11. "But (s)he's not Judge Judy and executioner!" I'm sorry. I just can't ever hear that phrase and not think of that. Anyhoo, it occurred to me that perhaps the character arc we are currently seeing is the redemption and learning curve of bitchy Laurel. A lot of us have mentioned that she is being called out on her mistakes the last episode(s) so we know we are correct in our feelings for her. I think especially with what Captain Lance said to her about starting the riot and forcing her to admit that she was rash, it's an arc that may be bringing her to realize that she does need guidance. That she can't railroad people and be a bitch and expect to have her way all the time. In summary, maybe we will be pleasantly surprised and she will not be the so-called leader of Team Arrow in Oliver's absence since there is no way in hell she is remotely qualified for that position. eta: The arc showing her that she doesn't know everything will hopefully allow her to accept the leadership/guidance of those who have been doing this for longer, i.e., Digg, Felicity, and even Roy.
  12. There are just sooo many! I'm rewatching S1 and just noticed this thread. S1:19 Setting the scene: Crazy Count Vertigo...girl dies...Tommy...etc. A man in a hoodie buys vertigo from a dude on a couch and walks out. As he leaves, he lifts the hoodie and we see that it is Diggle. Back in the Lair: Digg: "Alright! Person of color has successfully purchased your drugs." Felicity: "For the record? I offered."
  13. I admit to unabashedly fangirling when Charlotte Ross retweeted me twice! haha I am waaaayyyy too old to be so excited by this. I don't usually do these tweet things, but I needed some cheering up and it was actually a lot of fun. I did it earlier in the day for awhile (one that got a few retweets was "Who is Felicity Smoak? A woman motivated by goodness, not hatred or revenge.") and then during the episode.
  14. Well, if he's as stalkeriffic as people think, he probably knew. I, however, just think he took one look at her and saw a girl on the edge who basically needed time with her mommy. EBR did a good job of conveying that she was a bit of a wreck if I remember correctly. Didn't her voice even shake a little at the end there?
  15. That's what I was just going to post KenyaJ. If anyone EVER needed a mental health day, it was Felicity on that day. Girl had the worst day ever. There was one moment at the very beginning that made me just absolutely love Charlotte Ross as an actress and as Felicity's mother. It was when she first walked in and was so excited and Felicity wasn't. At one point, Mama's face just fell and she looked so sad because she knew, without Felicity even saying anything overtly, that she wasn't really welcome. But she immediately tried to look happy again, just like our Felicity does. It was a split second thing and I couldn't even tell you exactly when it happened. I need to rewatch. But, I did that to my mom many times when I was Felicity's age and saw that same look. Unlike Felicity, I am a horrible person and didn't realize how much it hurt my mom until she had Alzheimer's and we actually talked & remembered our lives.
  16. I need a deleted scene from towards the end with Mama Smoak and Felicity going through Felicity's closet. Mama Smoak would be so happy to see all those boob dresses and designer stilettos and realize there is more of her in Felicity than she thought.
  17. What a douche. At least Bow and Truss acted quickly. I'm sure they've been mortified over the last few weeks,so the decision to act was easy.
  18. I had to watch it twice. I watched it the first time and couldn't get into it so I talked on the phone the whole time. Tried again today and, although it took me a little while to get into to it, I ended up enjoying it. Jess was definitely the weakest link. But everything else was very funny. I immediately said "decorator rocks" as soon as she pulled them out, so I don't get how she's so stupid.
  19. The thing I loved about this is that Roy looked totally surprised after he did it. Even Roy was like "damn that was ridiculous!".
  20. I am too verklempt to articulate about this episode except to say I absolutely loved it and everything about it. I'll just go like a bunch of other people's posts.
  21. If the show - as it seems to be - is going in the direction of the Ollie and Laurel Crimefighting Capers hour, please just don't fuck up Felicity. Don't put her with Oliver or Ray as a consolation prize to being less important to Team Arrow. Don't let Laurel bark orders at her in the lair. Don't let her be sad. I am so sad and disgusted that I really don't trust these writers/IIC at all to keep this show on the rails after the promotions over the summer and the episodes they've given us so far. Sorry, just a little anxious about tonight and needed to vent. :/
  22. I guess. If she is the most polite, well-brought up thanker to have ever thanked. Which she isn't. haha It just doesn't make sense. But a lot doesn't so I'll just add it to the list.
  23. I can't agree more with this. I just watched the first few episodes with Felicity in the lair and I have to say...the scenes with Diggle and Felicity are the best thing about the show to me in the first season. They are so cute together and just come off as natural, immediate family. The writers are failing these two in that regard.
