  1. I don't really think anyone was bad as you say, but I just could not connect to those two. When they were on alone, I kept wanting other characters to be present. Their best scenes were when they were with someone stronger, Noah with Cato, Rosalee with August..etc. I just couldn't put my finger on it. The show was still great, but they were not the ones I was really rooting for. I am disappointed not to see more of Mykel T. Williamson. They keep saying that a lot of the actors will return in a different context...not sure what that means.
  2. Even though Rosalee and Noah were supposed to be the heroes, in spite of his arc, I cared more about Cato. Outstanding acting by all, great storytelling, but those two were the least believable to me. Smollett just never sounded the part, I could not connect to her acting. Vann was amazing and owned every scene, as did the actor that played Cato and many others. Glad there will be a season two, but I want new characters....well, they killed all the ones I liked best. Henry, Sam, Zeke.
  3. Amazing! Although since she was not supposed to be one of the Macon 7 it does not seem fair that Rosalee tasted freedom and Sam died. Even though she eventually had her revenge I thought Stine was going to do it in the scene when he was asking for forgiveness. Can't decide if I am glad that he told Rosalee about Sam, or if he should have just let her have hope. So many things to think about...I'll have to watch it again. At least Ben is not dead.
  4. I am not sure why they are holding out on the big "kiss." You would think after all they have gone through to be together and as Barry said, "wasted so much time," why waste any more time in showing each other how they feel? I chaste kiss on the cheek in that moment just did not work, nor did it sell the moment. I am not sure why that was the choice. That is why so many fans have a hard time buying this relationship...they don't allow them to show any passion. To be fair, I never saw it with Iris and Eddie either , or Barry and Patty. Wally is pretty pointless to me.
  5. Gosh. I was looking forward to Daisy dying..you know the show doing something bold. Now it will likely be Mack. I am so bored with Daisy...and they sacrificed Lash for this? I agree, he would have just killed Hive. At least they could have had Lash transform so that May could see her husband's face once more.
  6. I don't know what it is for me this year. I was bored this episode. Why did Zoom walk out to talk to everyone? All he cares about it speed, you would think he would have "zoomed" out. I found the Zombie ( and Cisco's jokes) very boring. I would think Iris and Barry's moment was worthy of a kiss...similar to the one they had before he "turned back time" and took away the moment when she told him she loved him even when Eddie was o.k. Clearly Joe thinks there may be something wrong with Barry. Tom Cavenaugh looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. It was a strange episode overall.
  7. So glad Moreland is gone...I hope the show survives another year and gets back on track.
  8. I strongly suspect that Cato hid that money that was in the stage. That is why he was late. He will use the location of that money to bargain for his freedom. If he is smart, he hid some in two different places. That way he can lead them to some, but save some for himself. He is smart enough to figure out a way to lure them with the money and still make sure they let him get away. After his popularity, I really don't see the show letting him go since they killed off Zeke, Henry and Sam. I am actually sad that Rosalee and Noah are the two who made it. They are the two I am the least interested in. This was the hardest episode to pay attention to. The whole Devil's Snare was weak, and I have no idea why they killed Ben of all people. John's wife is annoying. If he could almost beat a man, I don't see why he would have trouble with killing a man that slept with his wife via blackmail. I would much rather have see the after effects of Tom's actions, how Ernestine gets out of the whole, and Ben reunited with the older slave at home that taught his father to track.
  9. I thought there was an episode where they addressed that she moved home?
  10. I don't know what Season 2 would be about unless they are recaptured. Pretty boring to keep seeing them run away again and again. The only thing I could see is them going back to get other people from the plantation, but how long could that last? Rosalee continues to be the weakest link...good lord even the child actors were stronger. Why did Henry have to die? At this point I am not invested in any character except James and maybe Sam.
  11. I don't think the possibility that James is his son has anything to do with it. I do think, however that even as a child he over reacted at James' reaction. He is old enough to understand that James is hurting too. I know there are only 10 episodes, but things are moving way too quickly.
  12. This episode was heartbreaking in so many ways. The best part about it is that it was not so focused on Noah and Rosalee. I enjoyed the other stories better. Really....did they have to kill him? I knew it was unrealistic to think that everyone was going to make it, but they have only kept the annoying people!
  13. I can't understand why they thought this episode was necessary. Unless Zoom is going to turn Caitlyn into another Killer Frost I can't imagine much more boring than watching her as a captive. Of all the people for Zoom to take...Wally?? Was Jay even around while the whole Wally drama was going on? Of all of the people to take, Wally?? I no longer care who is in the mask, or about anything else related to Earth 2, or Earth 1 for that matter. Of course I was right about the glasses being important...that was just telegraphed. Cisco just gets more and more annoying, and BRILLIANT Barry just looks dumber and dumber. So...all of a sudden Iris has been giving Barry "looks" and no one has noticed but Caitlyn?? They certainly made it sound like the only reason she was interested in him was because she was supposed to be. What a way to write a love story! At least we didn't have to see her with her boss...but that could still happen. Not ruling out a Patty return. I fear for Joe's safety. The writing on this show has dropped DRAMATICALLY from last year ( similar to Sleepy Hollow and Arrow) and there is no telling what they will do.
  14. I thought Barry did have his own place? i must have missed when he moved home. If he and Patty were intimate, were they at her place?
  15. I am tired of there always being a traitor in their midst! Is that every episode?
  16. I agree with many, Abbie aside, the whole episode was a mess! They ruined Headless, and the the deaths of Pandora and The Hidden One was underwhelming. The whole thing was boring.
  17. I am sorry, but I never saw the chemistry or a romantic love between the two. I also always found Nicole's acting a little flat. Her tone, etc. just always seemed weary. That's not to say I don't like her, or that I didn't enjoy the show in the beginning, but I think her portrayal always seemed out of place on the show. Jenny was always a much better fit to me for a witness. I am just disappointed that even though they were estranged for many years, the end did not show her saying goodbye to her sister. Maybe the witness is the new FBI girl. I apologize to the Icabod/Abbie supporters. I am sorry you did not get what you wanted. Neither did I. I wanted the writing to get much better.
  18. Unpopular opinion, but Rosalee and the actress that portrays her are the weakest part of this show. I cringe at all of her scenes and see NO chemistry with Noah.
  19. I thought she said "they dead." I assumed that the jump and throw did not go well. I played it back 3 times and could not figure out what happened.
  20. What happened to Moses and his daughter? They are now down to four. I can't believe that she was stupid enough to think they would honor those papers just because she could read them. Ernestine is cold as ice. So far I think I have counted more slaves killing each other than the white people or slave catchers. Zeke- Cato's shooting him was just like killing him Pealie May - Ernestine finished him off Maybe I missed it, but what city are the Underground Railroad helpers in? I know they traveled to see his brother on the plantation, but where do they live?
  21. At least Daddy's boy was absent this episode. I don't like him, and although I don't dislike him, I don't think Carisi is awesome or attractive. I always watched the show for everyone BUT Olivia.
  22. Yeah...no more Joe and Jennie. I did not believe in the romance. Jennie needs a much stronger man. I knew they didn't hire Arthur Fancy just for him to come over and say hello, but it took too long for his reveal. Betsy why? All of the Betsy Ross story has bored me. I hope Danny is the next to go. I want a new season, but it HAS to be better than this one
  23. I struggled to stay with the story. I am still waiting to see the "smart" Barry we were told he was on the original Arrow crossover and when he first got injured. This Barry just does dumb things, is way too trusting and too emotional. I actually thought he was going to time travel and go back and talk to some scientists. I have no interest in seeing Iris move on with her boss. Joe is off this season and Cisco continues to annoy. Unlike everyone else, I have never liked Harry, Harrison, Eboard or whomever he is supposed to be.
  24. I also don't have much to add...I was bored to death. I watched this and Sleepy Hollow late last night on DVR with my visiting sister. After watching SH first (which she used to watch and was glad she no longer did) when I started watching the Flash, half way through she asked said that it was just as bad as my last show! I was struggling to stay awake, and as the identity of the new speedster was no mystery at all. The big "reveal" was overwrought and pointless, and unlike others I found nothing humerous, etc. about the club scene. Cisco continues to annoy me as does Caitlyn and Harry. I am hanging on for Joe...and sometimes Iris and Barry (not together, but individually) and that thread is getting weak. I have no idea what happened to the show this year. I have zero interest in Zoom, Wally or Jesse.
  25. I liked that Pandora stood up to the Mr. All Powerful. Ironically, my sister and I watched and discussed the show all the time the first season. She did not watch Season 2, and she was visiting from out of town last night while I watched it on DVR. After about 10 minutes, she asked me why the show had not been canceled and said that she was glad she had not wasted last year or this one watching it! I can't explain it, but for me this show (along with the Flash) has gone from "must see tv," to watching it just to discover where it all went wrong! I went from loving Jennie to disliking her screen time because it includes boring Joe with whom she has no chemistry. Arthur Fancy is so miscast in this role...or since I am such an NYPD Blue fan I can't see him as anyone else. They have yet to reveal his purpose. This is also no chemistry between Abbie and Danny. I went from wondering what the purpose of the other agent was to sorely missing her this episode.
