  1. I don’t think this BBC write up on the final special has been posted https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-features/the-master-daleks-and-cybermen-return-for-centenary-special It contains a general synopsis from Chibnall: “Jodie’s final feature-length story contains a plethora of treats and surprises for audiences and fans, not least the return of two of the most beloved companions in the show’s history. They’ll be helping the Doctor fight on three fronts, against her deadliest enemies: the Master, Daleks and Cybermen, in one huge story! For the BBC’s Centenary, we’ll be celebrating the past, present and future of Doctor Who, in a fittingly thrilling, epic and emotional send-off for the Thirteenth Doctor."
  2. This episode didn’t do anything for me I’m sorry to say. I didn’t really like any sketch, except maybe the spelling bee
  3. The page link in case you can't get there from the Tweet https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-features/jo-martin-and-sacha-dhawan-enter-the-world-of-audio
  4. May 23 for the UK and June 28 for the US. The article lists the special features
  5. Really fun Q&A with Lynn Herring about Lucy's business sense https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/office-politics-lynn-herring/
  6. Just an update to say HBO's schedule on their website now shows the premiere at 9pm ET on May 15
  7. Did anyone else think Spencer was purposely going over the top on being a jerk? It felt like he was doing it to cover over Cam trying to tell the truth about Spencer’s changed attitude over Esme
  8. It was a pretty funny, crazy episode. The show was somewhat lame in its first season, but definitely got better in its second
  9. Indeed quite fast; even Quibi managed to last longer. Surprising yet not. Even as Discovery/Warner was a few weeks from merging and CNN+ was a few weeks from launch, there was talk about possibly changing strategy. I think we might see some CNN+ shows on HBO Max at some point or at least the entertainment ones might go there, or possibly some future variation of CNN+ will be part of HBO Max or some Discovery+/HBO Max combo
  10. Premieres May 15, though it doesn't say at what time, but I suspect 9pm ET since comedies will be on at 10pm ET. Press release plus trailer. Looks pretty intriguing http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2022/04/21/hbo-drama-series-the-time-travelers-wife-debuts-may-15-625310/20220421hbo01/
  11. The show isn’t back until May 11 according to a promo. Seems like these Chicago shows are taking a lot of long breaks
  12. I believe the Doctor (maybe 12) said at one point he ran off with the President's wife or daughter or something and there was the implication (maybe thought so by fans) that he married her
  13. The new season (Season 4) will focus on both Martin Luther King and Malcolm X and of course, be played on Disney+, as will all subsequent seasons http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2022/04/20/disneyplus-original-series-genius-mlk-x-from-national-geographic-taps-reggie-rock-bythewood-and-gina-prince-bythewood-as-executive-producers-joining-executive-producers-brian-grazer-and-ron-howard-443111/20220420disney01/
  14. The executive producer said they could have asked for more time, but decided not to, though ABC did give them the extra time to show the crew credits
  15. Nice, sweet ending after 8 years. And the crew was part of those who were dancing at the end
  16. I think you got them in the wrong order. Ji Hun killed the leader first, after he was down, which the Doctor protested, then a little later Dan killed a few of them that were advancing on him and Ji Hun. But the Doctor wasn’t around to witness that
  17. Overnights: 2.2 million viewers, 7th for the night (or 11th if you include regional news). Not a great figure but there was stiff competition from ITV's Britain's Got Talent. Viewership overall was down given it was Easter Sunday
  18. I thought I had a big purse, but Harmony is carrying around a ridiculously big ass purse
  19. Just to update, the journalist has indicated he doesn’t really know the timeline. It could be weeks or months from now
  20. Hillsong Australia isn't exactly doing well these days either, given their lead pastor resigned because he hid his dad's sexual impropriety
