  1. I have the sadz. It tried but its ratings were so-so and below Ghosts, which was a hit. You could see the dip as it sat between Young Sheldon and Ghosts
  2. Loved the daughter grilling the publisher about the misogynist content of his YA books. I’m glad Tom didn’t take the audiobook offer as it just seemed so wrong for him
  3. It looks like the Secrets of the Zoo mothership will start its new season this Sunday
  4. POV’s upcoming season https://www.amdoc.org/pressroom/pov-announces-season-35/
  5. I did find Chet and Terri talking about their fears interesting. I thought Terri knew Amy was Chet’s sister already but I guess I was mistaken Esme is clearly in fantasy land, especially with her former nanny or whatever she was. The letter did seem to suggest Ryan is really her bio dad but that could be a wrong assumption
  6. The Futon Critic is showing that NBC is moving the show to Saturdays starting with the 8th episode "Scars" on May 28 (and apparently they have skipped showing it most of May). And it appears its season finale on NBC won't be until July 16 instead of June 19 http://thefutoncritic.com/showatch/transplant/listings/ I suspect that NBC will either cancel it altogether or move it over to their Peacock streaming service, which is its home for streaming, for the 3rd season
  7. Unknown. He has been filming the Barbie movie but I’m not sure the size of his part. There are rumors Who will start filming soon, if it hasn’t already. Since Ncuti will be filming the next season of Sex Education this Summer, there’s speculation that he’ll start filming Who this Spring, then continue filming in the Fall. Chibnall has also said he will finish final production of Jodie’s final special this Summer and it’s speculated that Ncuti will film his half of the regeneration before then, assuming he hasn’t already
  8. I’m not sure what you read to think that. It was always said to be in the Fall
  9. You didn’t, it was pretty sudden and unexpected (Ncuti posted a cryptic message on his IG first, then they put out a press release) though there were rumors something would be announced soon
  10. Announced at the Baftas after all
  11. The interview in the linked article has Davies saying he's not going to say more about the new era until Jodie's final special is broadcast this year https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ncuti-gatwa-jodie-whittaker-bbc-russell-t-davies-tv-baftas-b2074163.html “She [Jodie] is still the Doctor. She has got an enormous finale, an epic finale, a 90-minute finale in October. So we are polite gentlemen. It is only right and fair to shut up. “2023 you will be fed up of us. We will be ready by then. Until then we bow to Jodie. We love her.”
  12. Davies said in the linked article that the Centenary special is 90 minutes. Also, he told Jodie the day before who the new Doctor was https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ncuti-gatwa-jodie-whittaker-bbc-russell-t-davies-tv-baftas-b2074163.html “[Jodie] is still the Doctor. She has got an enormous finale, an epic finale, a 90-minute finale in October. So we are polite gentlemen. It is only right and fair to shut up. 2023 you will be fed up of us. We will be ready by then. Until then we bow to Jodie. We love her.”
  13. I was hoping for another woman, and if so, expecting a woman of color. But a man of color is just fine to me, though I’m sure some will say they went with the safe choice of a young male. But the first Black man in the role (and who might also be gay, though that hasn’t been confirmed) is not the same old safe thing that was happening before Jodie. That said, I of course had no idea who he was (I haven’t see Sex Education). Announcing quietly via Instagram and first by the actor himself seems like a very low key odd choice, but the media will still report on it, so I guess it doesn’t matter in the end, but it still feels like a let down for the actor
  14. 14th Doctor just confirmed by the Doctor Who Twitter account ETA: BBC news article https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-61371123
  15. Posted by Bad Wolf on their Twitter feed. Screenshot taken from the actor’s Instagram. Russell Davies was the one who commented “The future is here” on the IG post. It’s not clear yet if the actor is playing the next Doctor or a companion, but it does seem to be an announcement about Doctor Who casting
  16. It will be the last season. Erin will win the DA’s race and Frank will decide it’s time to retire
  17. I can see next season being the last, with Erin winning the DA race and Frank deciding to retire
  18. Tonight was maybe the best episode of the season. Many of the sketches were so off the wall. Favorites: The World Texting Championship nearly had me in stitches, as did the cannibal astronauts one. The adoption one, besides the dumb lady adopting an adult she thought was a kid, turned out to be 3 ladies in a throuple; that took me a bit of time to get clued in. A lady broke up with her girlfriend hairdresser
  19. Pretty good finale. Joe Hill tends to make the episodes he’s in better Its nice that Baez adopted the baby It continues to remain awkward that Erin is in the DA’s office while most of the rest of family are cops
  20. I think there’s quite a few good things, which is nice given how sparse things have been because of the pandemic. I’m most looking forward to Nova’s Dinosaur Apocalypse
