I remember Van Hansis from ATWT, and he doesn’t work for me as a trauma surgeon, at all. Where’s the confidence and arrogance? Maybe if he had a car accident and lost his ability to operate, then had been on a bender for 3 years and just come out of recovery, but not as he’s written now. Granted, I was on the barge and didn’t see most of the Brad/Lucas courtship so I might be missing something. Even Carly wants to help Alexis and Sonny’s all “not my problem”. Blerch. Maura looks absolutely fabulous today and she got her brain and caring for Trina back - yeah!

LOVED her and I’m sad this fun show ended. Missed yesterday’s show so I have no further comment.

There’s a terribly bathroomy expression I’m thinking of right now. Not sure responding to randos on IG is the way to go in the meantime, but whatever.

Drake really made a positive difference in people’s lives, so commendable, so sad for those closest to him and his fans. He’s been on my screen since the 80s and more recently, I thought he was great as a dad to Paul in embracing his son’s homosexuality, a great example to macho dads everywhere. Just realizing that Dick Van Dyke has outlived him. I thought the show was doing DVD a favour by bringing him on as John’s dad, but it may have been a favour to Drake instead. 😭😭 I’m assuming we’ll only see how the show will write of his passing in the spring. Damn that 8-month delay. Can someone remind me when we’re to see Doug’s funeral?

That was a yuck, yes. Holly still looked great though. Anyone see the Jason/Lucky exchange in the hospital? L: “All this time and I’m… here.” J: “I know what you mean.” 🤣 Would have to see it again, not sure if it was an adlib or in the script, but it was gold.

She had lovely scenes with Vernee Watson (Stella), I hope they offer them more and get them off that bench.

That’s how I saw it too and I’m not grossed out by them kissing at all (sue me). Can someone burn those damn playing cards! Loved the Tracy/Stella convo and their wardrobes - give them more than a damn bench, show! I find Maxie’s too blond hair washes her out but enjoyed James snitching on Drew/Willow. 🤣

I enjoy Brennan and it’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a guy on this show so if he has to be charming to Carly to get my dose, I’m fine with it. To her credit, LW’s eyes do sparkle in their scenes and she’s playing it like she truly doesn’t want to be involved with Sonny, and I hope it continues because it’s the only way I could ever enjoy her character again. (No matter how despicable Carly is, I always appreciate LW’s work.) I was watching NLG and MEK and I think they could have possibilities as a couple, or at least very good friends. Of course, she’ll never go for the “pinning it on Sonny” scenario, but a girl can dream about the possibilities for a few hours.

i like seeing him on my screen even if it’s with Carly. I would prefer seeing him chat with Robert over whisky but I can’t get nice things. 😂 I did really enjoy Joss telling her mom point blank that Sonny is not the loyal sort, though.

I am too. Also liked the imagined Liz/Lucky convo but making them a couple again, would be a regression. Hated that a no Sonny ep had to have a character sing his praises ad nauseam.

Can’t tell them apart either, mostly because I don’t care. They’re only used to prop up (Jason) or tell on (Finn) characters, the writers don’t allow them to have personal stories. Oh yeah, at one point one came out for a whole minute? No romance, nothing. He just bakes.

I saw that too. 😂 He did look good in his tux though a d the drink spilled thing, although not on purpose, was hilarious. She did leave Lucky to rot and he almost got shot. That wasn’t the Holly I remembered.

Love MEK and watched on the CityTV app just for him (trust me, it’s a sacrifice). I didn’t realize he was so much taller than MB and their scene made me chuckle because of this. I’m not a beard person at all but think he should’ve kept the goatee. It framed his jaw nicely. I was watching thinking that if the actor wants to stay on the show, he should to play down all his charm not to get on the bad side of MB’s ego. I hate to think like this. Will watch today for JK. *ss on the barge, toes on the show.

And Sasha telling her that she should ask herself why she had so few friends was an unneeded low blow and completely out of place in a conversation with a boss. I wasn’t thrilled when they moved Sasha from Deception to a bankrupt private Chef (with no training) at the Qs and nothing I’ve seen since has changed my mind. (And yes, I’m very friend challenged right now and still grieving and I’m taking this way too personally.)

I love to see MEK on my screen but wasn’t a fan of what they did with his character before the hiatus. He knows the game and is really kissing the ring there.

Yes, my first thought was that she was hijacking the remembrance anniversary but I also know grief is a very personal thing and there’s no time table to recover from it, especially when it’s unexpected. It feels like KM is still hurting very much. People grieving are often drowning and may cling to a work environment to keep from sinking. It’s not an ideal situation and I hope being let go will be better for her healing process going forward. It doesn’t stop me from thinking a FV environment could be toxic to people who are not his favourites.

I wouldn’t have minded Anna/Jason if he had stayed out of the way of Sonny, permanently. Now, he knows Sonny killed Cates and is basically gaslighting her to protect him. For those who like straight talking and loyal Jason, it’s not in keeping with his character. For those of us who still harbour a tiny flame of love for Anna, it’ll soon be a another kick in the teeth. Carlo Rota has aged well and I wish he wouldn’t have been a big bad only Carly/Sonny/Jason can get rid of to become the saviours of PC. You know it’s coming. Meanwhile in Adventures of the Coven, I can’t believe Kristina is listening to Michael and standing idly by while her mother is being railroaded, albeit for being utterly stupid. Speaking of stupid, Molly actually believes Kristina could be a murderer!? WTH! I like the actress’ work but dumbing down 3 women characters for… oops! Forgot which show I was watching there for a minute. My bad.

Neither do I, it didn’t ring true to me. It does feel like we’re waiting for GF to come back from vacation with the never ending poker game from hell. Granted, I muted a lot of the Kristina/Molly/TJ convos because I hated the storyline, but I don’t get the baby stealing accusations either. Yes Kristina offered to be the surrogate (a dumb idea and it was even dumber of Molly to agree to it) and yes she changed her mind, but how can you force someone (your sister to boot) to give up the child they’ve been carrying over a verbal agreement? This.

Do you mean his role in All My Children? I remember him as being superbly charismatic and charming, and loved him with Cecily. I saw slight glimmer of this when MB was paired with CW but it was all too brief.

Having her recite a super long monologue lying on dirt in the fake rain really didn’t help. It looked so uncomfortable, I stopped watching after a few minutes. I also spared a though for Harrington lying in the rain too. I don’t know if the actor was a pain BTS but it felt petty after a firing.

Love that Tracy figured the truth out. How a guy who’s been a mobster for decades plans to wear gloves and meet up with his victim, but doesn’t plan on getting rid of the body is beyond me. He needed Michael?! Michael?! And he has to beg his ex-wife for an alibi?! Did he try to make it sound like they had sex too? At the Qs?! Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Interesting to have Ava and Jason work together. MW looked fabulous in the rain.

I don’t know what will annoy me more, that the writers would’ve given us a dream cliffhanger on the eve of 3-day no show weekend or that they didn’t.

I don’t think the writers will go there. I thing Cates’ body will be disposed of, probably by Jason, never to be seen or heard from again. Sonny will not be seen badly on this show. We either get with the program (I don’t think I will) or stop watching. I did stop watching for many years after Ava killed Kate (loved Kate) but my life isn’t as full now and I do really enjoy the community aspect so I’m quite annoyed with the show right now.

I know. 🤣🤣 Wish that “rain” would’ve fallen on Lucky’s head to wash the gook out. I wonder how the writers are going to spin Sonny killing in cold blood. Have Michael help him make the body disappear? Blame the meds? They’re certainly not going to have him face the music or have his character high tail out of PC forever. Are they trying to make us think Lulu will die? Is this for a fake out “many will die” promo? I’m very sorry they couldn’t find a better role for Adam Harrington. I’m very sorry he had to go to keep the Mob Guy. On the positive side, Carlo Rota looked great with the white beard (and I usually hate beards).

I first saw Carlo Rota in the original Nikita TV series (with Roy Dupuis) and hewas very good and versatile in it. It was almost 30 years ago though. Good actors like JE and JK can transcend bad writing, so we’ll see.
