  1. Those were very good days, which I seemed to have missed when they originally aired so thank you for sharing. The Mac & Alexis kiss was pretty good compared to the lack of chemistry we see in so many pairings nowadays.
  2. Charles Mesure is in his 50s (54), please leave him there with me. 😁
  3. I had such high hopes for Nululu but girl is getting to be unbearable. Also not a fan of Lucky’s childish behaviour. How he behaved with Ric in his capacity as Liz’ lawyer and his arrogance in believing he can quickly clear her was a lot. Did the writers add the line about him needing a shower because he does IRL or are they trolling us? 🤔 (I know the character said it about skivvy Ric, but still…) Yeah, I don’t understand it. I don’t remember her being terrible to the staff before, but maybe I’m missing something. I also found it pretty rude of her to interrupt Sasha’s alone time in the church.
  4. I thought the same thing. 🤣🤣
  5. I love how Jane Elliott can move from b*tch mode to putty in seeing and talking to Lulu, and looking spectacular doing it. Queen. I’m also glad her character got a promise that Lulu wouldn’t go alone half cocked to find Charlotte. I would understand if some criminal had kidnapped her but Valentin, for all his faults, will not be mistreating her in any way. Calm down girl. i hope we’ve seen the last of the “over a dead body” Emmy reel scenes for a good long while. If show kills KW’s Felicia, I will riot.
  6. I didn’t know Crazy Days and Nights existed before this week. The post doesn’t mention GH, could it be someone from another soap?
  7. Doug Williams III bugs me. The actor looks sub-par to me and feels like a sad namesake to Doug/Bill. I hope the character is someone else or gets recast. Brady has often been skipping material to me but he’s coming alive with Ava and was fine at giving parental advice so I’m watching more of him. I really want Kristen to disappear in a big puff of smoke though. Her being unhinged deeply grates now. Rinse, repeat.
  8. We saw an entire show of a team trying to save Sam and it was excruciating to me, I’m fine with getting the short version this time. I’m also with @Grinaldi, we’ve had too many deaths already. Even Cates could’ve been whisked off the canvas without Sonny killing him (I still hate that Sonny’s walking away from this with the strength of a 1000 suns (TM someone on TWoP, eons ago). If we add that to IRL passings, this is a show that has been mourning for much too long. But if you’re going to go there, don’t show Cyrus doing it right off the bat! There are 2 new doctors at GH and an old/semi-new lab tech w/ links to the mob who could’ve been investigated, a whodunnit would’ve been more interesting. Cyrus (another person they could’ve just disappeared off screen), is such a boring choice (I admit I’m a Jeff Kober fan, but still).
  9. Same! I was hoping that with the talk about Ava’s money being taken by the Cassadines (echoing @YaddaYadda, who outside of Nikolas? Stephan?), we would be treated to a brand new or oldie Cassadine, but no, it’s little Miss Eveready Bunny. The storyline reminds how often a female character is stuck looking for their kid (ex. Nina (Nelle/Willow), Laura (Spencer and Lucky), now Lulu with Charlotte, while dads just leave them to go have their lives, apparently. I was extremely disappointed that Nina, in wanting to protect Willow, didn’t take 5 minutes to yell at Drew. Instead, we got Carly doing all the yelling and Michael cowering in the corner. Not a good look. I was just starting to like Dex and his newly found smile and they go axe him. It reminded me of the Brando death. Plot recycling galore. Now it’ll be a whole month of Joss whining. Not looking forward to that.
  10. I also think Sonny did it, maybe through Spinelli/Brick, hacking or bribing. I thought he would just try to kill her so that’s more interesting. Rick wouldn’t stay around a poor woman unless it’s against his brother so we’ll see how long the alliance lasts. Did we not get a Thanksgiving episode because we needed certain people to see the video and they would not be invited to a family gathering, so early Christmas party it is? 🤔 I liked the cliffhanger and hope today’s ep will be soapy, angsty, and fun and Nina gets to slap Drew again and again.
  11. The writers are having trouble writing for their women characters and it shows. Trina is now annoying, Portia and Kristina are unbearable, not to mention Joss and Carly. Lulu is the most recent being sacrificed at the shrew alter. If girl broke my phone over her histrionics, I would’ve had a fit and coma or not, there would’ve been consequences. Brennan looked weak there (and I love Brennan). If Anna was still in the WSB, I would expect her to use all the means necessary to get the intel she needs, but not as Commissioner as it shows how little she thinks of her job. Asked by Laura, Martin would’ve gladly given her all the info he had on Valentin’s whereabouts. He didn’t deserve this. Nina doing him harm over his betrayal I would understand, but not this. It’s as if we can’t have more than two good shows in a row.
  12. Yes, newly made up Lulu (where did she get that coat, it’s not her mom’s style) barging in and ordering Nina around looking like she was channeling Carly/Joss, really grated. I really like the new Lulu and hope she won’t fall into a spoiled brat mold. As for Trina, oof that storyline is so juvenile and uninteresting. Blah.
  13. IIRC, she was one a few decades ago and yes, she should go back to that and leave the caring to Stella.
  14. Thanks for confirming, because I couldn’t figure it out either. Although, wouldn’t that only work if he had known she was awake and not taking her to an out of town facility? It’s not as if Dante would’ve remained a monk on an off chance she’d wake up? I’m wasting time trying to figure this out because I really like Jeff Kober and that baseless and irredeemable act means he’s out, contrary to MB who can kill whomever and remain central in the show (yes, I’m bitter). In other news, I was happy to see MEK back on my screen and I really enjoyed his scenes with GF. I’m by no means a die hard Liz/Lucky fan, but when he started singing and the flashbacks came on, my cold and dead heart did skip a beat. Good job to both.
  15. That would be very worthwhile. Would also love having Alexis added to the mix and have her feel guilt over her daughter turning into her grandfather, Mikkos.
  16. Do we know why Kristian Alfonso missed the funeral of her onscreen dad? I’m surprised to see her on now, but not for the event.
  17. Just finished watching the funeral episode. 😭😭 There’s a video of Susan giving Bill’s eulogy and she was wearing the same scarf and red earrings and necklace. The whole Doug eulogy was pretty much Bill’s. The strength to do, months apart, two eulogies about the man she loved for so long, is immense. Glad the show gave her a lot of leeway in these episodes. I also suspect it was also SSH’s idea to bring back Stephen Schnetzer. Maybe they remained friends IRL? Never saw him on Days but loved him as Cass on Another World so it was great to see him and it would be nice to see his character again. Gloria Loring looked fabulous and starting Always acapella after being emotional (she whispered something to Susan the mics didn’t pic up), was something. Only ever heard that song on DOOL and it always brings tears to my eyes. It was also nice to see Maree Cheatham whom I remember from Search for Tomorrow. A very nostalgic soap episode. (But the new guy can’t act so that was a sucky ending.)
  18. I really like this new Lulu and hope the writers will do her justice. I could’ve done without the “I don’t need to go to the hospital” though, especially after Dante told her he did it wrong last time by not taking her, and the sandwich and orange juice were ridiculous. Why not add a bottle of whisky while you’re at it? I was hoping we would have a Tracy/Lulu reunion, but I can wait. I didn’t have the bandwidth to listen to Drew/Jason/Carly or Molly/TJ, but Rick Hearst really sparked in his dialogue with NLG who understandably, still makes her character look like she’s been shattered. MB looks better dressed but his “let’s be evil” schtick with his daughter does nothing for me. The fact that he’s indulging her false belief that Ava is responsible for her baby dying, also grates.
  19. I thought Maura West was great at playing Ava on the stand. Just enough of everything. I wasn’t watching when Cyrus orchestrated Lulu’s accident so I was just happy to see him throw truth bombs at Lucky, especially the one about him being the only person visiting her because Laura was too busy and Lucky hadn’t. It was also nice to see the actors together in a scene and I hope to see more. I’m glad the writers haven’t wasted too much time having Lulu go around interacting with strangers. We still might see Tracy come upon her early next week - can’t wait for that one. Also happy to have GF back on our screen next week because her character has been missed.
  20. Ilona, about Alan.
  21. Chandle/Brandon in 4th place - wow. And Alan drops Ilona. 😝 ETA Chandler in 3rd, not 4th.
  22. Really like the intro hommage to the Nicholas Brothers (if you haven’t seen their iconic dance routine in Stormy Weather, please check it out). Very good free dance. Despite the filler content, this has been the best finale show of the whole series.
  23. ILONA!!!! LOVED IT!!!! 💖💖💖
  24. “I will have won by meeting you.” 😭💕
  25. Have to say that Danny really channelled Ryan Gosling’s Ken and lol at Witney wanting to get off the bed after he flirted with Julianne. 🤣
