Just watched the Feb 21 episode and oh, my heart. 😭 It was nice to see Lucas again, even if he’s deeply in need of a haircut. Couldn’t help but see a twinkle in the smile of Bill Hayes when he mentioned the demonic possessions in the Horton family history. 😁 I remember cast members singing Always over the decades and it was the perfect ending scene for Doug and Julie. Now that persona non grata is gone, I’m looking forward to better stories and will watch more often.

MW looked amazing in that red coat and so did CW in her black dress. Ava, Nina, and Sonny acting like characters in a YA novel though - really not my cup of tea. It’s nice to see Eva LaRue back on screen, but I think I’m going to have a hard time with her character.

It would be great if Ava was proven to have orchestrated a lot of Sonny’s isolation, for instance by counselling Nina not to tell him she was the leaker, knowing he would see it as an unforgivable betrayal.

I muted the “torture” scene because it was just too ridiculous so I missed the “Stone” info. Maybe Jason doesn’t know who he is and thinks he’s Stone? I know it makes no sense but I’m hoping against hope that I won’t have to see the Jason character again. Why was Cyrus meeting up with a total stranger? I understand the rational but it’s so boring. Dante was right though, I think “John” is acting sus. Everybody on screen looks better dressed, so there’s that.

Very happy to see Ms. Wu back. Contrary to Sonny though, I don’t see her being taken in by a leaker and her finding out at the same time as Sonny seems far fetched, but who knows with this show. 10 to 1 Nina will be writing the gossip column under a pseudonym. Sigh…

@jsbt - you are a fount of interesting information! I don’t watch B&B but I haven’t heard good things about the on-screen stories. Can’t wait for mid-March to see what happens.

I like RA’s work but Taggert can be recasted just like Nik and many others. Not having the character on canvas for Trina is a deliberate choice not at all related to an actor’s possible issues.

Hear! Hear! I had hopes Martin could’ve helped Nina more in compensation for his treachery and even saw them as a potential couple (all from the MEK charm). I would also love to have Taggart, Ms. Wu and Liesl back for which I would gladly give up Drew and Valentin. But I rarely get nice things.

I really want to be distracted from my life and would love to have GH fill at least an hour of it, but too little good is happening and I have to mute most of it to avoid major second hand embarrassment. Another month of this… ouf.

The show feels out of sync. Why didn’t Sonny just tell Dex to leave after trying to kill him the first time? He didn’t want Carly to interfere? Why is Cyrus on the radio instead of a podcast? I’m with Laura though, guy is super creepy and unhinged with his “flock”. We’re back to mobspital and I’m bored silly.

I remember Olivia Jerome from her original appearance on the show. I had a huge crush on Jason Culp (original Julian) and Tonja Walker, but missed her 2017 return. They just killed her off camera and that’s it? I was really hoping she had been Dex’ boss instead. Not a fan of the Ava/Sonny and Nina/Valentin writing on the wall… So someone is killing off old mob bosses? Which reminds me, Jennifer Smith is still in jail? Also dropped like a hot potato. Shouldn’t be surprised, considering the very anti-climactic Luke death.

Happy that Sonny knows about Michael. I now have 24 hours to hope the little weasel will get his before it all falls apart and he gets forgiven in a nanosecond, while Nina gets pilloried for breathing. This does hint at a Nina/Sonny reunion, which I’m fine with. I knew Dex was none too bright but risking his life to avoid betraying Michael of all people, is beyond ridiculous. Had Dex told on him, I wonder if Sonny would’ve believed him and if Michael would’ve kept Carly’s knowing a secret. We’ll never know.

Ari is very courageous to do this. No other soap will approach her and she must know how hard it is for women over 50 to get a job in other entertainment areas. I don’t know how many DOOL fans read social media news on a regular basis and have found out the details about Alarr and now this lawsuit, but I know I watched the show differently after his firing. I looked at all the vets and wondered “how long have you known?” Looking at the sex scenes, I asked myself if the creep was there making actors do things they were extremely uncomfortable doing. (I thought they had an intimacy coordinator for the threesome was it just for that scene?) I’ve been an on and off fan of the show for over 40 years, but my enjoyment is not worth a continuing toxic work environment.

I’m still on hiatus from watching (happy for Johnny and Channel but that’s about it) but wish Arianne Zucker all the best with this lawsuit. If I look at the filming delay we may not see the non-Alarr stuff until next month (he was let go in early August)? I had hope for improvements all around but with this departure, I’m now doubtful. It is very disheartening to see that even when the worst offender gets thrown out, the system remains toxic.

I think the new Jagger would’ve made a great Frisco. I liked his acting though and I’m open to watching more. Decades ago I loved the chemistry SB had with Vanessa Marcil (they weren’t an on screen couple but I shipped them hard) and Sarah Brown. Despite the BTS issues, I was also fine getting on board the Jason/Britt train, but I saw some of his scenes on DOOL with Tamara Braun (who can have chemistry with a lampshade) and saw no effort from him at all and they had him in a leather jacket too. Talk about one note. I hate that his one note is back (the 60th anniversary showed him the same) even if it’s temporary because it’s not as if the character’s actions will rock GH in any good way. It’s also another damn come back from the dead (can’t characters just move to Paris or NZ for the love of all that is good!), one month after so many are grieving Spencer’s fake death. I also worry that his first scenes will be written by the previous regime, and the rest by the new team and it’ll get weird, but who knows.

Yes, such a come down after Portia’s super hot brother. Very UO here, but I can’t wait for the Spencer character (annoying as all heck) to go and don’t care that the actor who portrays him (with a strong overacting tendency), is leaving.

I only watched the last few minutes. Esmé went to see Kevin to get help and when he didn’t give her the answers she wanted, she hit him over the head? Or she planned to do it all along? How does that help her get Ace back? Basically, they’re making her go off the deep end to redeem Nik.

The character was at his most palatable in a decade with her so I wouldn’t mind, but he would need to grovel as he’s been treating her as badly as she had cheated in him, not just grassed on his ex.
