Amy may very well have her own stories to tell re: JB, Josh, etc. She should stick to those stories, though, and stop playing games (or at least the alluding to alleged tea) with other people's lives. That's gross.

Aww, I was confusing myself. I thought her middle name was Grace, so I was wracking my brain to come up with a first name. Grace Annette (after Abbie?)? I thought she was closer to 2. Maybe I'm wrong about her being teeny-tiny. She's a cutie, regardless.

Abbie's little girl (name escapes me this early in the morn) looks exceptionally small. Like a miniature child. I don't think she's any "longer" than Evy (sp?). Anyone know how old she is?

I don't wish any harm on the Rebers. But I don't feel bad for them at all. They went into this arrangement with their eyes wide open. And Mrs. Reber had the chance to turn this arrangement down in court. The fact that her headship got her into this mess is part of the package she signed up for.

After watching the RV video, I can acknowledge some of the appointments are nice for vacation/temporary housing. And the master bedroom is doable. At least it has windows and room to walk around the bed. But the other sleeping quarters, where I assume at least Savannah would be, look stifling and encroaching. I don't care how many vertical surfaces one came move or flip up/down, it's tight and doesn't substitute for a proper bedroom. I hope it truly is just for the summer for them, which Janelle can sell as an adventure. Did anyone else from the family reply or react to the post? Do the adults ever react or reply to each other's posts?

Oh, wow. I had never read the grifting blog post (2nd link) before. Now I understand where "(and Kaylee)" comes from. At one point I had to double-check the web address because I thought I was on a parody page with all of the "Nurie is such a blessing and her faith in God is restored because of our grifting haul, and oh yeah, Kaylee" jazz. Jill. Is. Nuts. Those poor kids.

I'm sorry Scarlett. It sucks to know that you can't count on those you should be able to count on, but it's also better to know now, before you need them! I think it's better to know where you stand with people like your cousins.

Is that the RV Garrison remodeled? If so, I wonder if Janelle, Savannah, Gabe and Garrison will all be living there. Comparing her life to her sister wives, I feel bad for her. But apparently she's fine with her life choices, so I'm not sure why I care. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Her little legs really stood out to me. They look odd, kind of like a frog's legs. Maybe that's why they've been hesitant to show her, because she's shaped like a frog?

Hi again Small Talk Friends! I just wanted to let you all I know did book a trip! I'm doing a Globus Tour to Greece next March (I have too much going on for the rest of 2021 to travel). Special thanks again to @Scarlett45for reminding me that I was past-due for vacation! And thanks to all of you for encouraging me to go for it! I'm super excited!!

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and advice about solo travelling! I'm pretty decisive (and fairly impulsive 🙂) and will probably book a trip soon!

I just watched this doc on Sunday. It's very interesting. I highly recommend it.

The angel on my shoulder says that I shouldn't compare Nurthan's "maternity shoot" to others on SM. But come on! Those pics are so pathetic and laughable! If JillRod had not called it a "maternity shoot" I wouldn't have thought twice about it. The first shot was ok, except they're standing in front of a shed, I guess? Nurie's expression in the second one looks like parody. Maybe Nurie is trolling us? She's literally barefoot and pregnant in the photos. And where are the dry grasses and weeds that our fundies love for their photo settings?

My biggest fear is being with a group of people I don't like, and being stuck for 7-10 days. But I've been looking at trips online all afternoon! 😃

That's awesome! How exciting!!! You might inspire me to go big on a trip. Scarlet, are you travelling solo? I've only done 1 solo vacation and it was domestic. I've been debating going abroad somewhere, but it would be solo. I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

In my neck of the woods this is always how it's done: the bride's parents always come first. Even in the engagement announcements (do people still post those anywhere? That used to happen in our local papers pre-internet) the bride's parents were credited with making the announcement. For those who are familiar with those who pay being listed first, what if the bride and groom are paying? Just curious if there is a different custom for that.

I had a weird dream about the Rods this morning, just before I woke up. That's never happened before. Without going into strange/uninteresting-to-you-all details, I will say it involved me teaching Janessa how to read, Jill getting angry when I questioned if Janessa needed glasses and kicking me out, and some sorcery/demonic activity on Jill's part (!!! 😯). Apparently my brain thinks I need a JillRod break!

I can appreciate that, and I hope my comment about it being too terrible didn't come across as terribly snarky to you as it did to me as I read it back to myself just now! Snarkiness wasn't my intention, and I apologize if that's how it read.

The only questionable comment I saw said the poster wanted more details on Jinger, fewer on Jeremy because everyone's there for Jinger for her, not him. Was there something worse? Add me to the "telephone" train, please, if it's too terrible to post here. Thanks!
