I honestly don't get why OA wouldn't have asked Scola his advice in the first place. He was clearly a successful stock broker, and it's not like Scola wouldn't have been willing to advise him in the first place. It was just stupid. If you have a friendly coworker who is an expert in something, why wouldn't you ask them??? I certainly would!! But I swear, every episode one of these guys is emotionally compromised on by the case. If it was a drinking game, we'd all be drunk before the episode started lol.

That was a really sad episode. I'm glad they caught all the bad guys and I like to think that Steve made the center a success!

I agree. Jubal rarely goes in the field but somehow when his kid is sick and he's drinking, he urgently needs to go in the field 🙄

That was a terrible, terrible episode. Simone was so incredibly unprofessional. I've cut her some slack cause this show is obviously unrealistic but wow. Shouting to Carter across the bullpen, dressing up to meet the ex and then dressing like she's going out on a date AND hooking up with him? Come on. Just way too much for me. Between her and the story with Brendan and Antoinette, this episode was more soap than crime. I mean, they barely did ANY crime solving! At least it felt like that. Just a very disappointing episode.

Kelly, if you hear shouting and cries from inside a bank, you don't just walk in blindly!!! You check it out through the window and call for backup!! Ugh. Why do they make their characters stupid???

Man, I was so rooting for the undercover guy to make it!! That was so sad he didn't. I'm very glad they got all the bad guys though. It's really too bad they made Tracy so hatefully, backstabbingly evil in the beginning, cuz I like the actress but it's hard for me to get past that. Come on! Garza gets released like a day later??? Insane!!

That was just a truly lovely, sweet episode. One of the best Christmas episodes I've seen in a long, long time.

Agreed. It's not at all her body, it's being in a professional capacity like this and having her shirt open to practically her belly button. It's inappropriate for the work place IMO. And very well said on the "almost" victim of the serial killer, at least she finally twigged on the creepiness of the guy and didn't go down to the basement LOL.

I like this show and I like how the team are mostly supportive of each other and building a good team, but Britt Robertson really does NOT work for me. She is such a weak link. I really don't buy her being such a knowledgable (supposedly) profiler. There are some actors who can carry it off but she totally cannot. I cringe every time she opens her mouth and starts spewing her lines. That being said, that guest profiler was an azz to come in and start contradicting her in front of the team. So of course, she hooks up with him RME. I like Niecy but I am in total agreement over her cleavage! I get it, she's very developed, but it's unprofessional to have her shirts so low/opened in every dang episode. Man, that was a creepy episode tho. Come on, ladies, NEVER GO TO A STRANGE GUY'S HOUSE!! She didn't deserve to die or be tortured, but that was DUMB!!

I like the new Barnaby better. The first one was a little too full of himself for someone who could only figure out who the killer was after they were whittled down by so many being murdered 😂 I mean, dude, how good are you that another 3 or 4 people are murdered before you figure out which one of the two people left did it? LOL!! I do prefer Joyce but I could not stand Cully!! Hated her and so sick of how they shoehorned her into EVERY storyline!! She was EVERYWHERE and just soooo multi talented 🙄

Dang, I really wanted Jay to be able to see the ghosts! Especially Pete!! He and Jay were so excited when they thought they could see each other! I love their bromance, so that was sad when they couldn't. I totally LOLed over those two NOT knowing their names were on their Yelp reviews!! I really get bugged when Sam has secrets from Jay with the ghosts. And she clearly didn't learn anything at the end. Just bugs me because he's at such a disadvantage and the fact that she keeps taking advantage of it just makes her look bad to me.

There's a brief mention of her being at school. I want to say that they said she's at some kind of boarding school but it might be that it was just implied. I can't quite remember. It was probably because it was easier not to film with a minor during the pandemic.

Thanks for the heads up on the season long story arc!! I'm not a fan of those in mystery shows. I prefer one and done stories in episodes. So I'll wait until the season ends before giving it a shot!

Watched the trailer for it and it definitely looks like something I want to try! Looks cute and fun.

I agree, LisaM, I liked her a lot better. And I was really glad when she turned out to not cause problems and be respectful, because I read an article before the season started that implied she would cause problems between McDonald and Dodds and make McDonald rethink working with Dodds.

I was honestly afraid they were going to have him turn around and it would be him. I really hope not. I liked him a lot. Great episode this week. I adored the group hug and I so hope Lucy isn't in danger!! And I'm just a suspicious sort but I really hope Det. William's doesn't end up bad either...
