  1. Totally going to steal this next time I'm playing a game with someone and I'm winning! My husband and I guffawed over this one! Anyone who was a teen or in their twenties in the late 80's to mid-90's understands this! We were in college in the early 90's and I got suckered into Columbia House AND BMG! I was a sucker for get 10 CD's for the price of 1 😜 My favorite part of this was when Charles thought he gleaned more because he was reading slower and they rattled off every fact about Debbie's mom!
  2. Yes, and I felt his change of heart was very abrupt. I really didn't feel any chemistry between them, other than when they were arguing. Another minor quibble, and I know not all siblings look alike, but the four Parker sibs really, really, do not look like they came from the same family. Couldn't they have cast people that bearing a passing resemblance to each other? Edward looks more like Tom than Sydney......
  3. This. Little did I know that Esther was the hero of this story, but with that ending, she is the big winner here. Personally, in hindsight, I wish Esther WAS the main character. She is infinitely more interesting than Charlotte. What a sucky ending this was. My favorite moment in the entire story with Charlotte was when she was making fun of Sydney and he caught her..... I feel like this story is cursed. Jane Austen didn't finish it, and neither did Julian Fellowes......
  4. You clearly have different texture than I do: My hair is baby fine and completely, totally, 100% straight. I use volumizing product when I blow dry it and a finishing product when I style it. It feels dirty 10 hours after I wash and style it. There is no scenario where I DON'T wash it daily. I even drag my sad weak body to the shower to wash it when I am sick as dog bc I can't stand the feeling of greasy, dirty hair.
  5. Finally broke down and watched this. Now I am asking myself why. What a wretched group this is. On any other season, one or two assholes was sufficient. Now they’ve doubled down! The only scenes not painful to watch were ones involving Austin and Jessica. I swear every week I am done, but every week I keep watching, and it’s just as horrible. I’d like to say I’m not going to do it anymore, but I know I will. What is wrong with me?!! Gah! I’ll be back this week after I finish hate watching Wednesday’s episode.......😝
  6. I agree completely. In fact, it's been difficult for me to get up the interest to watch Project Runway after watching this. It's kind of dreadful, especially since this group on PR seems devoid of much talent this season. When you see what the designers on Next in Fashion have done in the industry vs. the people on PR, it's kind of embarrassing. I know many don't like the group challenge aspect, but I don't mind because this show is so tight in format (theme, fabric, sew, show, result) that it provides some interest that I think would be lacking. They don't spend much time on "getting to know the contestants" unlike PR, where we see them interacting and living together a little. I think at the beginning that helped identify them a little more for me. Maybe having everyone be in random teams or only teams of people who know each other would make it more fair, but I didn't mind it.
  7. That's kind of my problem with this entire season. There's nothing original, innovative or exciting about ANY of these people.
  8. Yes, a million times yes! They were practically bowing down to these athletes and tongue bathing them, and then they only give the designers barely enough time to throw something together. It's so insincere. It should have been a two day challenge! This annoyed me to the extreme. What an asshole. And if anyone doubted whether he was self aware of how he sounds sometimes, this should remove all doubt. He is not. How the hell does he know what all pregnant women want to wear? Talk about tone deaf. Fuck you, Sergio. And shut up. Until you're pregnant, you don't get to decide for women what feels comfortable. I know when I was pregnant, I already felt like a boat with legs. Wearing a giant tent didn't make me feel good about it. Nancy was arguably the only choice for winner. Good for her. I thought the rest looked cheap, tacky and not well made. And for that, see comments above, but I am really starting to feel like this group as a whole is not very talented. Not a lot of innovation or interesting techniques, and the most we can say for signature looks are wide leg pants, 1950's aesthetics, asymmetric hemlines and cutouts. ZZZZ.......I hope this is just a bad season, but the return to Bravo last season was great (Hester sunshine notwithstanding) and the winner was worthy. This season feels more like a Lifetime season than Bravo. Might be time to stick a fork in it......
  9. I didn’t say it was mean. I only tagged your post because it was the original link to the video, and I just thought it was funny, unlike most here.
  10. I guess I'm the only one who thought this was funny, especially the second part with Doug - kind of reminds me of the stuff Celeste Barber does. She bugs on Unfiltered, but I generally like her Instagram stuff, and she is actually pretty nice even when people write mean things. She interacts a lot with her "frans" as she calls them, always giving encouragement and kind words to people who are dealing with infertility and miscarriages. No doubt she is a fame whore, but she seems pretty harmless to me......
  11. I took Mindy's response as similar to yours, in that she said "I'm impressed" in the flattest, most sarcastic way possible. I find most of her responses to him that way, like she knows he's full of crap and she is just humoring him to get through it. I honestly don't think she cares what he says or does at this point. I think she was done in Panama after that last dinner.
  12. I find all of these gatherings kind of awkward. Two disparate groups crowded into small apartments with a camera crew wedged in there too. The whole thing has to be weird. The only ones that have ever looked fun to me were Katie and Luke's party (and look how that turned out) and Keith and Iris's party, until Iris ruined it with Lemonadegate....... I felt bad for Derrick's one friend that was a girl that was forced to hang with all the guys while Katie traipsed off with HER girlfriends to gossip about Derrick. "Can I come?" "Ummm, not yet". What is this - Jr. High???!?
  13. I don't have a DVR anymore - we got rid of our directv satellite and dvr a couple years ago and went to streaming only. I have Hulu Live. It lets me "record" it to my cloud storage, but it won't let us ff through the ads. Still sittin at my table @sometimesjennifer!!!! 😉
  14. Welcome to this forum - it's waaaay more entertaining than the actual show! I am not the least surprised by the failure of the 'experts" - I think it's producer driven because they keep advertising the "SUPER SIZED DRAMA!" this season. This is exactly what they wanted. I swore last week I wouldn't watch any more this season, but I couldn't help myself. At the one hour mark I thought we were almost done and my spouse clicked to see how much was left. I wanted to cry. But no, I hunkered down in the couch, told him to make me a cocktail and soldiered on.........It felt like the longest two hours of my life, and that includes the hours in labor for my kid....... And yes, the commercial with Eva Longoria hawking eye cream and sounding out HYALURONIC ACID produced more conversation between us than this shit show.........
  15. Ricky Bobby was Will Farrell's name in the movie Talladega Nights. He played a nouveau riche race car driver. It's a comedy, obviously. On The Dallas Season, Dave jokingly called Bobby "Ricky Bobby" and it's kind of stuck on this sight.
  16. I thought both of those things - I wish Lionel had just stopped after "I don't like you." That guy is so full of himself. His voice is just ok for him to be that cocky. He needs a dose of reality. I am a sucker. I loved the garbage man. Not sure he can navigate this craziness, but I'm rooting for him at this point. I also liked the first girl. She had a good voice and pleasant personality. Is that enough? Probably not, but I liked her...... Overall, I think Francisco has the best shot at top 10 out of this group. Good looking, not too perfect because of the excessive sweating, and a great voice.
  17. Keep in mind, my list is not necessarily the most handsome, just the guys I personally would be attracted to, and that includes some mix of personality and looks. Here's my list in no specific order: Keith, Jon, Gregg, Anthony and Neil. Jon has lost some points since hooking up with Dr. Barbie, but just from a looks standpoint he's definitely my type (and I know some can't stand the sweaty pits, but I don't care - I still think he's hot!). Ricky Bobby gets an honorable mention too since his new haircut or if he's wearing a hat 😜 The women I think are prettiest and/or girls I would want to hang with are (again, no specific order): Iris, Courtney, Ashley P, Shawniece, Davina, and Sonia. Mindy is an honorable mention at this point depending on how pathetic she gets. Just on looks alone, I think Keith and Iris are the best looking couple in the history of the show. People that make my skin crawl: Luke, Matt, Mia, Molly, all the season 2 guys, Vaughn, and just looks-wise, Jamie (Elizabeth's husband) because I don't find him attractive at all. There you go!
  18. We did. She is now engaged to the spouse of the person she was calling out..........
  19. Yup. She reminds me of Amal Clooney, who is married to one of the "Sexiest Men Alive", or whatever it's called by People Magazine. Personally, I don't think Zach would even make top five guys for me in the history of the show, and he grows less attractive every time he opens his mouth and speaks.....
  20. Two characteristics that never work on this show: 1.Being humorless and 2. Unable to compromise. Meka is both.
  21. I agree that this group as a whole is very hit or miss. We have Fluid Pants Nancy, Strappy Bi-level Hem Brittany, Jackets-R-Us Delvin, Fit-N-Flare Sergio and Sexy Cutouts Victoria. They are all one way monkeys! Marquise seems weak technically, which just leaves Geoffrey who has the technical skill and creativity. I hope he wins. Overall though, this group is pretty sad.......
  22. Me too. I find it just as offensive and tone deaf as when the designers would get mad at having a non sample size model.
  23. Me too @Evie, me too. I don't like looking like I'm wearing a sack, which seems to be her prime aesthetic. I thought that wedding dress was awful - just a sack of lace. Even one of the judges said it would be good for pregnant clients. That's just what I want everyone to think when I get married - it's a maternity dress! I did like the pink crop jacket and long skirt. I actually liked that the sister felt bad for crushing Minju's creativity. Hopefully moving forward she will let her do what she wants.
  24. There is a person on Instagram called MAFSfan who does spoilers for the show. She reported this.......
