  1. Totally agree Cletus, that character adds nothing to the show. Love the snarkiness of Blaine and Don E. I missed the first 3? episodes of this season due to forgetting it's on Thurs. nights now.
  2. This show is truly a hidden gem , so__ much better written an beautiful scenery than most shows on tv. I feel__ good after watching this show , Mark Williams is truly an amazing actor. I remember seeing him playing a very convincing Rory's father in Doctor Who. I want to add, seems like there were a couple of episodes this season that had Syd and Lady Felicia in them.
  3. So true, I remember in the 80's when the Aids/HIV threat hit, people freaked out and many started taking more precautions ,using condoms ,abstaining etc.... I think before Aids we had already dealt with the beginning of the mass herpes outbreak, that got a lot of people into using precautions too.
  4. I must have lived a sheltered life, my folks never used the f word around us kids or each other for that matter. I think I was around 20 or so when my dad used it when he was talking just to my older brother and me, no one else around. I've never been one who uses cuss words, just not my nature, most people around seem to be ok that I'm so vanilla. One thing is for sure, I've noticed younger generation families seem to have no problem cussing away when they are in public etc...
  5. Ok, putting on my fire suit, I loved____ this episode. The musical and dancing sections were well done, all involved should be congratulated on all their hard work and efforts that's required to make this all happen. I understand musicals aren't everyone's cup of tea, heck, when I was in my 20's, I didn't care for them either. Somewhere along the way I learned that a lot of work goes into making it happen. It always amazes me how Busby Berkeley could produce such precise choreography on such a grand scale. Rare to see in this day and age.
  6. I saw Katy earlier today on the Hallmark morning program and they showed a short clip of Katy singing and I thought she did very well, she belt it out.
  7. The break will free me up to tune into something else. I'm watching Father Brown tonight on PBS.
  8. For a moment there I thought Gwain was going to break character and say," well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into".
  9. Yes, we are almost finished with Season 7 on PBS. This is an excellent season!
  10. I'm ok with Mallory, he's had to eat some crow along the way and owes a lot to Father Brown. Sgt. Goodfellow is great!
  11. I sporadically would catch parts of it in syndication, maybe saw bits of 10 episodes? It seemed kinda trashy and I guess that's all it takes anymore to bring in enough idiot guys to have kept it going so long.
  12. I agree with you about some of the changed history, I felt it could have been left alone and still have been an interesting view. Tancrede was a favorite of many viewers, he will be missed if there's a season 3 . So many___ dark scenes last night.
  13. +1000 swissair100. I've been watching Father Brown for about 4 years now on PBS. This season has been so good, wonderful writing and acting . I couldn't believe there wasn't a listing here for it, thanks for starting one!
  14. I prefer the Sipowicz method of interrogation. It usually was successful.
  15. I kept expecting a crazy twist to the ending with someone else being a part of hiding the bodies. All in all, a great season and it makes me want to check out the first two seasons.
  16. ABC is getting as bad as NBC with cancelling great shows. Anybody remember how hard viewers had to fight to bring back Friday Night Lights? Twice? Didn't NBC also cancel The Office? That was an awesome show. I loved____ Selfie and didn't ABC cancel it before the end of the season???
  17. Loved___ this episode, felt like it could have been a nice ending for the series. How the heck did Dave Kim end up with that cutie Carla?????
  18. Loved this episode, loved the teachers and Principal and especially Coach. JTP!
  19. I loved the Jackie,Rose years, miss them dearly.
  20. Unfortunately, we see it time and time again in movies and tv shows where the action just stops and centers on a certain scene etc.... All through last night's episode, I kept waiting for the calvary or cavalry to arrive .
  21. I thought this season was over ,but it looks like there will be a follow up episode tonight and a special farewell tribute to Dan.
  22. Is tonight the final episode of the season?
  23. Yes, Chris's acting with all the eye and facial movements sure looks like someone who really does have a md condition. So sick of the girl blogger, throw the book at her.
  24. The comedy of I Love Lucy will be around long after most modern comedies run out of steam. The Three Stooges episodes are still___ being aired everyday somewhere, amazing since many of the episodes came out in the 1930's and 40's.
