I was barely paying attention to the second ep, but my mind totally snapped to attention at that line and added the "prepare to die" LOL.

There's always a measure of "doesn't make a lick of sense" in their storytelling. Le sigh. My hope is that Hook is able to overcome the darkness and sacrifices himself to destroy the darkness once & for all. That would be fitting since he sought to destroy the Dark One for so long. But I keep thinking about the fairy tale "The Queen & the Murderer" that JMo cited several times, and in that the Queen saves herself by ultimately killing the murderer. I also think that Hook is the Dark One who showed up in Merlin's voicemail message in Camelot.

Ditto. It could go either way. And since I don't trust this show, I fear the latter.

I think we're going to end up having a Buffy/Angel situation here with Hook and Emma. (For those who didn't watch Buffy, she had to stab her love Angel with a sword to save the world.) BRUTAL ANGST!

LOL. I couldn't even remotely tell you what happened in the second ep because I wasn't paying attention. That ep was such a throwaway. I perked up for the Snow/Red scene, and thought that Hot Scot Lord Macintosh should be playing instead. Other than that, MEH. The first ep -- WOW. There were things I liked and things I didn't. I had tears streaming down my face when Hook was dying, not gonna lie. I didn't care for Emma equating telling Hook she loved him with telling Neal the same thing. Colin & Jen knocked it out of the park with their acting. Really cold that Emma was planning to put the Darkness in Zelena and then kill her. Although I certainly want Zelena to go away, too. I do not understand why Hook wouldn't have exhibited some Dark One tendencies in SB, even without knowing he was a Dark One. I saw a theory that Emma was controlling him not to be Dark with the sword, but I don't know. It just didn't make sense that he'd suddenly go SO Dark the second he knew he was a Dark One. They went out of their way to make Hook's past way more dark than we knew in this ep, so he'll be VERY Dark as a Dark One. -_- Whale isn't going to deliver any more babies. He gets knocked out every time.

Marian Cora Nealina! Not necessarily. We could get a separate storyline of what's going on in SB while the rest are in the UW. Or they aren't actually in the UW at ll and the UW has come to Storybrooke. Yes. My first questions were 1) Why do Meg & Herc look like teenage runaways? and 2) Why is Herc wearing a cable knit sweater and padded vest?

She's tiny to start with, so she may look further along than she is -- but she looks pretty far along!

Based on Adam tweeting the 5x13 title, they've moved onto that one. He generally posts the titles once they start filming that ep.

I swear, it's like ABC has collectively decide to try to make CS- and Hook-haters' heads explode today. The sneak peek. OnceABC tweeted a CS post. ABC even RT'ed the Colin/Kermit picture.

Yeah, I think they definitely have some sort of extrasensory connection, whether it's a shared heart or something new. Perhaps Hook's life force is somehow tied to Emma's because of something she did in Camelot to save him. ITA. I generally like her, but that was terrible and raised false hopes. Not cool at all.

I find it hard to believe they could get either Sebastian or Jamie. Perhaps we will "see" them via old footage in a montage of memories or something. Or perhaps they could work in doing a tiny cameo by themselves wherever they are. I guess it's also possible they could use Jefferson's hat to get to the Underworld without needing the actor, but then they'd run into the problem of only the same number being able to return as went there. Unless they decide to go and figure out how to get Hook back later. But no hat was seen in filming.

I would be shocked if the heart is from anybody other than Merlin or Hook.

As far as I know, there's no widespread fandom "rule" about / vs. & vs. + so I wouldn't worry about it.

That is an interesting conundrum! And one that could happen only on this show. LOL! Kind of interested in Mulan/Ruby. Could not possibly care less about Merida's story. She should NOT have been shoved in this arc.
