Wow, congrats to your friend! Epic hair! The best part of the movie, IMO.

God that was boring. I don't give a rat's ass about Merida's story. They wasted a TON of time on that pointlessness. I also don't care about Rumple & Belle in the slightest. I guess Kay must have been REALLY awful if Arthur & Rumple were able to pull the sword. The opening scene with the group rescuing Merlin was the ONLY good bit in the ep. Zelena is too over-the-top for me to enjoy her scenes ever. At least the SB group know now that Arthur is shady.

I think that theory makes sense, which is why the arc ends with it looking like Hook is trapped there & his death will be permanent, like the TVLine Blind Item said. The hiatus is going to be HELL! I'm thinking the Dark One's vault may come into play again. It was cavernous and had passageways. What if one leads to the Underworld? Of course, they'd have to get back to the EF, but I'm sure they could catch the next Express Train. Ugh, we are so going to have to see that fuckwit Neal (who bloody well killed himself in a Death by Stupidity) again in the Underworld. Thank heavens MRJ is a regular on a midseason show on NBC so it'll be a short visit.

Not necessarily. Could be lead-up to them going to the Underworld. Or a flashback. Or characters who don't go to the Underworld. Or a vision in Hell that looks like SB. Close enough that it probably made A&E go "Oooh!"

Something like that! Something that only SHE could do for her True Love, so it wouldn't work for other dead people. Hades could think it was impossible and it's only a game to him. But if/when she passes all the tests, he's furious and vows never to do it again. But he has to keep his word this time. It's possible that they could tie it to how Aurora & Mulan restored Philip's soul after the wraith stole it. We don't know how they accomplished that. Perhaps it also involved a trip to the Underworld?

I could see Hades setting a crazy series of tests that Emma would have to pass before Hook could be returned.

If that's the case, I hope Dark Swan flays them all, LOL.

Perhaps Regina & Snowing used the dagger to force Emma to crush Killian’s heart – there's her “NOW life is precious to you?” to Regina? And her comment about keeping ahold of something with your name on it. Maybe Killian agreed & ripped out his own heart to offer it up. But they weren’t specific and just said “Cast the curse!” and Emma was able to access Nimue to get around the command?

A&E also said in one of those spoiler Q&As that Emma has a heart in her chest in SB. So she's not running around heartless. (Always with the caveat that A&E lie like rugs sometimes.) If Hook & Emma are sharing a heart, what would his death mean for her? Maybe that's the key to how Hook could be revived. Her life force or whatever would still be keeping his heart half viable or some such.

I'm not sure. I would say it would indicate Merlin is still alive, but he was able to communicate with Emma & the Apprentice while he was also a tree, so who knows with him! Maybe he could also communicate from the afterworld, LOL. Would Hook pull out his own heart for Emma to crush? I could see that. But maybe she can't do it & accesses Nimue instead. You just can't trust anything they tease, because they've been shown to flat-out lie in response to spoiler questions, too.

My theory is that Emma accessed the Nimue part of the Dark One and crushed Merlin’s heart. Merlin would be the one that Nimue loved most. But Emma had to go full dark in order to access Nimue. Killian or Henry are too obvious IMO. In any case, I’m also pretty sure Henry is out because they wouldn’t have Emma crush a kid’s heart, especially HER kid. It has to be either Merlin or Killian. In other news: Hahahaha, apparently Persephone is also sometimes referred to as Cora. I would expect nothing less of Cora than to be ruling or co-ruling Hell.

As much as a Hook-centric 5B would be AWESOME and I'd love it and it would be good for the show, I unfortunately doubt it because he's been so significant in 5A. The B arc is always heavy on Regina, and she certainly has the most "past to come back to haunt" her in the form of her victims and other significant dead people. We know Cora is coming, and Christie Laing suddenly tweeted a #Maidens post, so I expect she'll be back, too. I'm afraid they'll ignore Regina's victims, like Graham (not sure they could even get Jamie) and her father. Rumple also has a lot of dead people -- Neal, Malcolm/Pan, Milah (who would also work for Hook).

Snowing had a TLK before they got married, and since CS parallels them, I figure it'll play out the same order.

If Hook is going to be saved, their arc will have to continue to at least 5.12. My gut feeling is that he will be saved in 5.12 or 5.13, then the focus will shift more heavily to Regina, as usual. I hope they're not kept apart for the entirety of 5B, only to have a TLK in the season finale. They do tend to put the big CS moments in season finales.

Do Lana, Bex & Sean do anything besides go to conventions when they're not filming?

It's pretty clear to me from spoilers that Hook is taken to the Underworld. Last Thursday's filming: *Scenes beside lake that include Hook, Dark Swan, about 10 "death" figures and all the regulars minus Belle & Zelena. Last Friday's filming (same location): *Scene with all the regulars minus Hook, Belle & Zelena. Emma is herself again. *Scene with all the regulars minus Hook, Belle & Zelena. Emma is herself again. The others have different clothes, so that suggests some period of time jump, whether a day or a couple months. Emma is wearing what appears to be Hook's thumb ring on a chain. Gold cuts his hand with the dagger & drops blood into the water. I think they were either trying to bring him back, communicate with him or "seal" the door to the Underworld. *Scene with just Emma (hair down), Hook & a mystery woman. Given that Emma is Dark Swan in the Steveston filming, they filmed out of order. I think that last scene of Emma, Hook & a mystery woman is Emma communicating with his spirit after whatever spell Gold did. That will probably be the last scene of the episode, unless they throw us a hope bone in the form of a scene with Hook in the Underworld.

I'm wondering if Arthur teams up with Zelena in Camelot. He will want somebody with magic on his side.

If the TVLine Blind Item is about Hook, which I'm convinced it is because it ticks all the boxes IMO, then we're not going to get any hope or clue at the end of him in the Underworld or the group setting off after him -- that said the fans would be left believing the death is permanent. As far as the Underworld goes, I think they could go there for one or two eps (seems like great fodder for the 100th ep), then return to SB but accidentally leave open a "door" that allows Hades, etc. to invade SB.

I think the CS scene they filmed could be her communicating with his ghost. I'm also sure Hook is a Dark One at this point. I too considered that Emma could be lying about being the DO, but then it would be odd for her to change her look when he dies but not before.

Yes, I think after Hook dies, Emma goes back to herself for the very, very end of the episode.

I think all the people running around in cloaks (there were reports of about 10 from last Thursday's filming) could be former Dark Ones. And one of the set stalkers tweeted the actress playing Nimue last night asking her to come out and greet fans, so I think that is indeed Nimue.
