  1. Action in front of Gold's shop. Cruella's car is there. Honestly, does anybody except the Evil Trio film these days? katmtan: Lana, Robert, Kristin, and Victoria on set Sigh.
  2. They did stage Storybrooke yesterday. Somebody from the town tweeted a pic of the signs going up. I think shooting notice was for 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST, so noon to midnight EST.
  3. I only meant that she's premiering the video in the usual Once time slot.
  4. In one "50 Shades of Grey" trailer, Mr. Grey says "Some people say I don't have a heart." I laughed. I'm sorry, Graham.
  5. It's yet another example of the writers needing to have something happen (or not happen), so they completely ignore characterization in order to move the plot in the direction they want -- because if the character behaved in a realistic or in-character way, it would change their plot. And plot ALWAYS comes before character in this show.
  6. Finally, a date for The Words music video! In the Once time period, LOL. I will, of course, be out that evening instead of watching it immediately. Sigh.
  7. The Once Twitter page posted this image tease. I assume it's referring to the previously announced graphic novel. I imagine Colin is geeking out over a Marvel "hook-up" with his character.
  8. Though not technically about Once, I think this article illustrates a lot of the same issues that Once has with social media.
  9. I actually stopped watching sometime in the period when Harley was off the show, though I vaguely kept track of what was going on for old time's sake. But I never, ever believed that Mallet would've cheated on Harley. They just sort of became different characters with the same names for me, LOL.
  10. I didn't notice that about Ursula & Cruella. Of course, I haven't really looked that hard at the promo. That's an interesting catch, and I could see that happening. So maybe both sides are sending "double agents" to the other side? (If Regina is hanging out with them for that reason.)
  11. Merrin Dungey tweeted about heading back to Vancouver from LA for shooting. Jeez, are the Trio of Evil ever NOT filming? Soooooooo glad the show is focusing on the main characters and the guest stars aren't sucking up the screen time like the past few arcs. (Careful, you may cut your fingers on my sarcasm.) Can't remember if it's been posted here, but they're also supposed to be filming in Steveston on Tuesday, so I expect there will be BTS spoiler pics. I believe they're on 4x16.
  12. Honestly, I doubt it will mean much of anything. It sounds to me like Colin projecting or assuming rather than it being an actual plot point. Much like JMo saying that Emma would play a big part in Hook getting his heart back. I mean, technically I guess it was correct in that she put/shoved it back, but it didn't mean anything close to what we thought. So any Storybrooke flashbacks will be minus Emma and Hook, who weren't there yet; Charming, who was in a coma; and Henry, who they can't de-age that much despite their insistence that he's still pre-teen. The last one, meh, but given that the others are my three favorite characters -- I couldn't care less to see the flashbacks. They'll be all Regina, Rumple and Mary Margaret, with perhaps some dwarves or the like thrown in. Snore.
  13. I watched GL from the late '70s to early '90s. I adored the Four Musketeers time period, and when Rick and Mindy followed Phillip and Beth to New York. Harley and Mallet were my all-time-favorite soap couple. I just adored them. The "Who Killed Jean Weatherill?" mystery was especially memorable for me. Michelle Forbes was fabulous as Sonni/Solita -- such a soap thing to have her at one point portraying Sonni pretending to be Solita pretending to be Sonni, LOL. Beverlee McKinsey was all kinds of delicious as Alexandra. Ross was always a favorite of mine, and I hate hate hate what they ended up having happen to his character (because they dropped Jerry ver Dorn and he got a new job).
  14. So happy to have my boys back! Anne choosing Constance as her confidante was contrived, but it gives Constance a tie to the story now that she and D'Artagnan have broken up. What a surprise (not!) that the general they're rescuing has a comely young sister. Especially enjoyed the brief "What?" "What?" scene between Aramis and Athos. I really wish we could've seen what Richelieu would have done with his suspicions about Aramis/Anne. Forever bitter Dr. Who stole Peter Capaldi.
  15. R is for Realistic Reactions and Repercussions to things that happen. When major events or emotional traumas occur, the characters should be able to deal with and process them in ways that actual human beings would. When Emma sees Regina burn Snow alive, that should give her a little bit of pause when next she sees Regina. When Robin discovers that his little lust monkey murdered his son's mother, he should be able to have some sort of reaction to this news. When Hook almost has his heart crushed in front of his girlfriend who has issues about her guys all dying, she should be shown to have some sort of reaction to this. R is also for way less Regina.
  16. Oh, dear heavens, Dani-Ellie! What a nightmare those people were. Inconsiderate and dangerous, too. I'm so glad for you that they're gone! I think you and the other neighbor should crack open some champagne.
  17. A wonderful, wonderful meta on the half-season's issues. Huzzah! Because 4x05 still causes me to want to flip every table on the planet, I'll just pick this one bit out: They showed & explained the video at the start of the next ep, so 4x05 was basically utterly pointless to the overall plot of 4A. It could be excised from the season like an ugly wart, and it wouldn't affect a damn thing except lowering my blood pressure. It just goes to show how CRAP they are with pacing and recognizing what's actually important to show and what they simply WANT to show. (Apparently, having an SQ ep and Regina insulting Emma was their most important aspect of the season.) They wasted this entire ep and all the extra filler in the two-hour ep and ended up rushing through the finale at warp speed, leaving out critical scenes and explanations that, like you said, left fans dissatisfied, confused and frustrated. Sadly, I don't think they will learn a thing, because I don't think they see a thing wrong with their methods. If they haven't learned by now, they never will. They are idea people, not execution people.
  18. Oh my God, it all sounds so utterly BLECH! And the article really didn't even go into the godawful Author plot, even the thought of which is trying to suck out my soul even as I type. I think I'm going to get much more enjoyment out of this forum than the show.
  19. I'll put $200 on "No." And another $100 on "Hell, no."
  20. My guess is that the peddler isn't the Author, but might be a conduit to him because he gets around, knows people and acquires/sells lots of things, probably of a magical origin.
  21. F is for Frankenwolf. I liked the hint of it that we got in that one ep, though since I doubt we'll see much, if any, of either party again, I know it won't happen.
  22. Flashback or present-day, I wonder? A peddler (which would suggest flashback) or someone whose name is actually Peddler?
