I hate any commercial that has a doorbell, because it freaks out the cats and makes them run.

I have to upgrade my computer's operating system today so I can use the new remote desktop platform into work. Snow is in the forecast! Wish me luck. I'm always terrified it's going to explode.

I first read "Wuthering Heights" in 7th grade, and I didn't like it. I think I just wasn't old enough to appreciate its themes. But I had to read it again in 12th grade, and I liked it a lot then.

Between gifts for Christmas and my birthday last week, I now have a stack of 22 books to read!

Jane Eyre is my favorite classic book, too. I devoured it like it was a modern page-turner. Some classmates and I were all reading it on a trip, and we were so into it, like "Are you to chapter 10 yet??? Let me know when you get there, I want to talk about it! Squee!" That pretty much never happened with a classic I had to read for a class.

A Thread for All Seasons: OUaT Across All Realms
Souris replied to stealinghome's topic in Once Upon A Time
I picked "White Out" because the Captain Swan stuff was awesome, there was Captain Charming, I liked Anna, there was minimal Regina, and warlord Bo-Peep was crazy in a fun way. It certainly wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it the most. -
And Adam is kind of Rumple.... That's a brilliant idea, Shanna Marie! It really would work and would be a lot of fun. God, I would love to see that. Though Ioan and Colin on the screen at the same time might kill me via spontaneous combustion. Ioan Gruffudd has been on my laminated list since Horatio Hornblower! [OT]Sadly, I'm pretty sure this will be the only season of Forever we get. I'm trying to just be happy that I'm getting 22 doses of weekly Ioan.[OT]

Fandom and Viewer Issues: "Fan" Is Short for "Fanatic"

Yeah, I'd say that supposition is up for debate! -

Good Lord, the script actually says that? It actually blames Graham for Regina killing him? That is ... really disgusting. And explains so very much about the show. That's some Grade A victim-blaming and abuse-justification right there. -

Does Adam actually think that posting about Graham will in any way alleviate the anger of people who have been complaining that his murder by Regina was never punished on the show? Talk about poking a bear with a stick. Dumbass. -
H is for Hook's heart plot. 26 seconds of wrap-up for a major arc!

I was NOT expecting that. That was damn cold, Annalise. For a minute there I thought they were setting up Bonnie (though they don't know she has the Asher alibi). But I suspect she's mostly muddying the waters and distracting the police. She thinks she will be able to exonerate him -- but is cold enough to risk it. Though the fingerprint on Sam's wedding ring is pretty damning. I agree that Nate totally knows who set him up. I am very curious how they're going to work the show going forward. I don't think it's viable for the main characters to commit and cover up a murder every season. It seems like the former occupant of Wes' apartment is being set up as the next plot. But I continue to be intrigued.

Jesus wept, yes! The Musketeers is like crack for me. Hot guys swordfighting + costume porn = happy Souris. And I am alllllll about Santiago Cabrera. Holy hotness, Batman. He has shot to No. 2 on my laminated list after Colin.

Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!

I think with this show, it's best to expect the absolute worst. Then, when it's only mildly bad, it's a pleasant surprise. -

Yep, totally adult Lily. "Core characters," LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! My so-laughable-it's-probably-true spec: Lily and Emma are twins. Snowing made a deal with the Evil Trio to magically transfer one of the fetuses to Cruella, who wants babies, not puppies. Cruella ended up somehow in the Land Without Magic, and that's why Lily had such a terrible home life. In exchange, Fetus!Emma was given magic in order to one day fight Regina. -
The Variety review of "50 Shades of Grey" is a hoot (and is largely complimentary of Jamie Dornan). The lead made me guffaw.

I'm so glad I decided to completely stop caring. It's crap, it's all crap, and I don't care! -
I'm in NC, too. I remember that photo! Such an odd thing, with the car randomly on fire in the background and the lady casually walking away on her phone.

Smart. Gotta strike while the iron is hot! Anna was a great get for an actress straight out of drama school, so she's gotta try to capitalize on that.

Hook & Emma can't even have a romantic moment without the show shoving Regina at the table with them. Fuck this show. I give up. -
Elizabeth Lail is rumored to be in talks for David Fincher's 1980s show.

A friend in Boston shared a pic of his car. You can just barely make out the outlines in the snow. I feel for you all.

Oh, goody, more forcing of the awful Emma-Regina queerbaiting "friendship." The Hook/Belle item is the only thing remotely interesting, and we called that.
