  1. Colin won his E! matchup, so he'll be in the Final Four tomorrow. He seems popular. Maybe Once should put him on the show.
  2. Reblogging myself from the Spoilers thread. This show sucks so much donkey ballage.
  3. A is for Mary Margaret's A-line skirts.
  4. I haven't heard of the guy, either, but apparently he was the runner-up last year, losing to Jensen Ackles. Those CW fans sure taking their voting seriously.
  5. Presented without comment: Do you have any scoop on Once Upon a Time‘s Hook and Emma? That would be great! – Jillian As one might wisely surmise, Emma’s increasing darkness won’t only damage her dynamic with the ‘rents, it could also throw cold water on her first real romance in a while. “It impacts everyone,” series co-creator Adam Horowitz previews. “It’s the kind of thing where it puts Emma in a situation where she could be feeling isolated from those she loves and who love her, and those people are fighting to break through walls that are starting to come up again.” Even more ominous, the EP notes, these new walls “are even stronger and more difficult to surmount than the ones she had up when the series first began.” Bonus teaser: In Sunday’s episode “Lily,” “Emma comes face to face with her childhood friend” — aka Mal’s long-lost daughter, played by Agnes Bruckner — “and sees what their divergent paths have wrought on both their futures. It’s puts them in pretty direct conflict.”
  6. I can't feel any sympathy for Once's writers, when other shows manage to make 22 episodes of cohesive, quality television. Obviously, pretty much every show has some dud episodes or stretches where the quality wanes a bit. But other shows manage to have their second half of the season not always suck. Something is deeply flawed in the Once writers' room, and they need to figure out what the problem is and fix it.
  7. People are still obsessing that Regina is pregnant. I am a-feared now that it might be true, with that "something new" spoiler. The ONLY good thing about Regina being pregnant is that she might be sidelined from any rescue mission for Emma, if there is such a thing.
  8. Eyebrows was Vaughn's godawful annoying wife, played by Melissa George. I had repressed Wanda's "impossible to hate" nonsense. LOL! That tells you all you need to know about her, given that the vast majority of the Alias fans HATED Lauren & MG.
  9. I'm pretty sure it's a nod to SQ. I hate it, since Hook has been the ONLY one to call her Swan. It was their special name thing, but it's not anymore. They have to give everything someone else has to Regina.
  10. That's Natalie Abrams from Entertainment Weekly.
  11. I think that's probably part of it. I mean, look how shallow the show itself is now. The writers can't even be bothered to tell a complex & resonant story when it's their job, let alone participating in in-depth discussions when interacting with fans. Let us never forget that Kristin from E! has a long, long history of being annoying and crap.
  12. Is this the most unpleasant group of Survivor contestants ever? I'm thinking so. There may have been a group equally as bad, but I'm having a hard time thinking of it. I do not want any of these people to win so much as a plastic ring from a Cracker Jack box.
  13. It was definitely a "Why bother?" thing trying to keep going after LH left. I mean, I liked all the other characters, but the Vincent/Catherine relationship was the entire point of the show.
  14. Ah, man, I Ioved that show. Until it jumped the shark.
  15. He absolutely does, but I doubt he will. The CS fandom was so burned out on the couples poll, I can't see it getting sucked back in to another E! poll on a major level.
  16. Especially since the Once fandom is barely paying attention to the poll after our trauma and frustration over the couples poll! I've voted maybe 10 times in this, which is barely a drop in the bucket compared to the couples poll.
  17. A friend of mine has Sirius satellite radio, and she's always playing the New Wave station, so I enjoy the heck out of it when I'm visiting her. It's right up my alley -- the Cure, Depeche Mode, U2, REM, The Smiths, The Police, New Order, Pretenders, The Clash, Morrissey.
  18. I had no clue what Cyndi Lauper's "She-Bop" was about back in the day.
  19. So do I! They still haven't announced a release date yet, darn it.
  20. I hope you get to! That would be fabulous. I hope the show gets renewed for next season. Did you know that Chris Carmack from "Nashville" is in Colin's movie "The Dust Storm"?
  21. I never really got into Pearl Jam (sorry, Colin!), but I like all the rest! Annie Lennox is awesome. Pretty sure I have something by most if not all of those in my iTunes. I have quite a few '80s compilation albums, since my originals were on cassette, LOL. I still have quite a few embarrassing cassettes from my high-school days -- Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner, etc. I once wore out two Bryan Adams cassettes. Since I spent a year in Manchester, England, in the early '90s, I also love the Brit bands of that era -- James (my all-time-fave band), Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Charlatans, Mock Turtles. I'm currently in a folk/county-tinged phase, thanks mostly to "Nashville." Despite being from the South, I never liked country music, but the music on that show is amazing. YaddaYadda, I hate working out, too, so I HAVE to have music that will pump me up.
  22. I spent five hours today weeding. On the plus side, I watched the video of Colin singing "Let the Music Play" right before I went outside, so it stuck in my head and I had Colin soundtracking my weeding. I am off work this week and am spending it planting things and working in the garden, because I futzed about and didn't come up with anyplace cheap to go on vacation. I am getting a massage on Thursday, which I will desperately need after the gardening. As far as music, I am a total child of the '80s, so my iTunes has a bunch of things like Cyndi Lauper, the Bangles, Duran Duran, the Cure and Pat Benatar. I do like a fair amount of modern acts, especially the uptempo stuff that gets me moving on the elliptical or exercise bike.
  23. A new video of Colin's entire "Listen to the Music" performance with the Enemies. Some really nice closeups! Too bad whoever took it didn't realize they shouldn't keep changing their phone's orientation while taking a video, LOL. And a totally new song. Jumping Colin!
