  1. I just looked at the field. I may have picked American Pharaoh based on names, since I like Egyptology. But since he's a "sure bet" and I don't want to appear like I'm just glomming onto that ;), I'll pick another. I want to pick Ocho Ocho Ocho, since my former neighbors had a cat named Ocho. So that's my cat-related name, LOL! But he's in position 1, which is awful. Oh, what the heck, I'll pick Ocho Ocho Ocho.
  2. I usually watch the Derby every year, but I'll be at a beer festival getting sloshed this year instead! I always pick the horse to root for based on the name. (If there's a cat-related one, that's the one I pick.)
  3. Perhaps they finally realized that fans were mightily upset and dissatisfied and decided to come out with a bunch of interviews for distraction and excitement. Of course, being A&E, they really only made things worse.
  4. I love how that ET article reduces a rape baby to "baby mama drama." It's not some fans, it's A&E. They came out and said early in the show that Emma's happy ending would be the last one. It's completely sucky and assbackward that Regina & Rumple will get happy endings AT ALL, let alone before Emma.
  5. There were rumors that Sean's appearance rep told a few people that Sean & Rebecca Mader would be regulars next season. Certainly sounds like that, doesn't it? It's criminal how they're wasting such talented actors -- especially Colin, who is so popular. As for Emma's sacrifice, I think her sacrifice IS to go dark with the dagger by sucking up all the Dark One mojo. Whether it's to the level of her being a Big Bad or just more prone to darkness next season, I don't know. Not a bit. When you needle and troll already upset fans, you deserve everything you get from it.
  6. I'm so shocked that the E! poll is either rigged or screwed up. Shocked.
  7. Again I wonder if the entire show is a social experiment to see how easily people are swayed to believe what they're told versus what is shown on screen. Because that description of Rumple as selfless and romantic in that scene is so effing twisted and scary, I shudder to think about them actually believing what they're selling.
  8. My latest thought about the "change in condition" for everyone: Maybe by sucking up all the dark energy, Emma removes all darkness from Storybrooke, thereby giving everyone a Happy Ending -- except for Hook, of course, since she's his. Maybe the Granny's gathering is showing how happy and content everyone is. Except for Hook. I cry.
  9. It doesn't make any sense. I think the final vote in the E! polls must be rigged. I could understand if Colin didn't win, but the margin is out of bounds.
  10. It would be funny if Regina told the Author to give her a happy ending, and he wrote her marrying Happy. I bet we see only 1/10th a second of the CS cuddling.
  11. This show is about making the villains better than the heroes. And, come on, you know who will be the Xander to Emma's Dark Willow: St. Regina Sue, of course! FWIW, a teeny tease on the wedding: Crack us up? That makes it sound like it'll be some wacky couple in the AU, like Granny and Archie or something. Or Emma and Happy, given that he's the dwarf she hates. Maybe a wedding dress is JMo's favorite outfit she hadn't worn yet at the time she tweeted that.
  12. Ah, man, Vince Gilligan. I adored him when he was writing for X-Files. I never watched Breaking Bad, because it wasn't my cup of tea, but it sounds from all accounts that Vince did just as well as I expected him to do as a show runner. He's a great writer and clearly a great show runner as well. You can tell he THINKS about things and understands how to craft a story.
  13. I'm thinking more he dies, but Belle's TLK revives him and also breaks the Dark One curse. Thus he dies temporarily, but his Dark One persona dies permanently. Then the darkness goes into the air, to be transferred into Emma with the dagger, so she's the S5 Big Bad. And Regina is the new Savior, because This Show, These Writers. And Regina then brings Emma back from the darkness next season. Hate Lily is coming back. Please let Shanna Marie's Home Office comparison come true!
  14. Hey, Kristin stole my idea! (But that's OK if she gets it to happen.)
  15. It would benefit Colin more, I think. Sam has a guaranteed storyline and screentime. As we've seen the past few weeks, Colin doesn't for some stupid reason.
  16. If Regina betrays Emma -- and Emma STILL sacrifices herself with the dagger for Regina -- I am going to be PISSED. Jesus wept, stop with Regina doing shitty things and everyone else still screwing over their loved ones on her behalf!
  17. Sadly, his tweeting is likely to have the opposite effect of rallying the SQers and other Hook haters to vote against Colin.
  18. Variety article: When is the right time to cancel a long-running show? No mention of Once, but interesting.
  19. I am absolutely disturbed by the show's handling of sex. You are right, the Snow/Charming scene was the ONLY positive, loving, healthy representation of sex the show has ever shown -- and even that was really about the awkwardness of Emma and Henry walking in on them, not romance or love. Meanwhile, there is that massive list of disturbing or iffy/no consent sexual encounters. And they refuse to let CS have sex in a loving and healthy relationship. This show! Honestly, it fits right in with the show's twisted morality of villains being celebrated and heroes denigrated.
  20. Holy fuck, that's egregious! But doesn't that just exemplify the entire series right there? Regina, Regina, are you OK????? Oh, Emma, are you here too?
  21. These two guys need to have some sort of bet where the loser wears the winner's outfit. Colin wins, we win. Colin loses, he wears a kilt, we also win.
  22. Colin is in the final of the E! Alpha Male contest. His Fan Favorites panel potential bro Sam Heughan will be VERY tough to beat. The official Outlander Twitter has been promoting this contest, and Outlander doesn’t have the same rabid anti factions that Once does. The final should go up tomorrow morning Eastern.
  23. I wondered about that. I would think they would edit the ep for time before scoring, as editing later would mess up the music. But I don't know how that works. In the pic of Emma that Mark Isham tweeted yesterday, she's wearing the same white sweater she's wearing in the dagger scene, so that implies it's probably soon before the dagger scene. That had a 41 minute mark. It seems like she and Hook are in Gold's shop before they run outside with the dagger. Hook seems to be in Gold's shop in this scoring scene, so he's probably in there with Emma. If it's at 46 minutes, they'd still need a minute or two for the dagger scene, so that's putting it at 48 minutes or so. (This is assuming the dagger scene is the cliffhanger or very close to it.)
