  1. You know, that's a good point. It made me think if I've ever seen Adam stand up for his actors when they got hate, and I sadly realized I haven't. I hope I've just missed instances. I've seen him stick up for Shatner, Yvette Nicole Brown and Scott Nimerfro, but that's it. Never any of his actors.
  2. Adam absolutely knows. He follows Shatner & even tweeted afterward that he respects Shatner. Given that, picking an SQ script tease hardly seems a coincidence.
  3. Well, crap, there goes any hope of an apartment for Emma. They'll have to spend their budget rebuilding Granny's, Gold's shop and the loft.
  4. Honestly, they had two spare characters they didn't know what to do with, so they stuck them together.
  5. But, but, but the budget! There's no money for an apartment for Emma! ::hires 127 more regulars::
  6. Possible. She'd need to re-corporalize pretty soon, though, unless next season starts with a bunch of JMo-less eps, which I would not like.
  7. Adam and Scott Nimerfro are being VERY defensive on Twitter about criticisms of this ep. Nimerfro even told one fan to "enjoy your coloring books" instead. Albeit it was to a notorious jerkward Bad Apple who complained that the ep wasn't plot-driven enough (DA FUQ???), that was still a wildly unprofessional way to respond. Anyway, that tells me the writers are worried about the general response to 4B. There are lots of different reasons why people are unhappy about 4B, but it seems to me that it hasn't been well-received on the whole. Even some loyal TV critics are making negative comments. I hope they actually sit back and think about what they've done wrong instead of just doing the defensive, knee-jerk "The fans simply don't understand our brilliance!" response. I doubt it, but I hope.
  8. I wonder if it's before or after Regina steals her heart? Or maybe it's Regina disguised as Rumple.
  9. If they planned this whole Zelena-is-Marian twist ages ago, like Adam claims, then they narratively cheated by writing Marian as if she were really Marian in the interim. That’s just crappy, lazy writing. I compiled all the plot holes I've seen mentioned: 1) How did Zelena even know who Marian was in the Enchanted Forest, since Marian refused to say her name? 2) How did Zelena kill Marian in a poof of smoke and make her body disappear when she didn’t have her magic? 3) Why did Emma’s powers return after Zelena died, if Zelena never died? 4) Why would Zelena almost allow herself to be almost killed by the Snow Monster when she thought she was the only one still conscious? 5) Marian’s heart was bright red when Regina removed it when she was frozen. Ain’t no way Zelena has a pure heart. 6) Why would Zelena-as-Marian (Zelrian?) give Regina and Robin her blessing and tell Regina she wanted to be chosen? Which ones have I missed?
  10. That would certainly do it for me. Though I may get there before that has a chance to happen.
  11. I guess they did mess up. If you Google "As for Regina, she steals Belle’s heart. She believes the Evil Queen needs to do what she does best in order to save the people she loves" the ABC link is the first hit, though the actual text has been deleted on the link. If anybody else finds out about it, I'm sure they'll say Regina did the right thing and is a hero because of it -- when everybody else should be PISSED she'd do that. Hook & Emma especially, given that it happened to him. Of course, that would require a modicum of attention to character, which this show doesn't do.
  12. People are saying that the ABC recap of the last ep said that Regina takes Belle's heart as leverage against Rumple. That fits with the description from the next ep, so they may have put it with the wrong ep. But I cannot find that in the recap, so either ABC removed it or it's fake.
  13. She drowned in a frozen lake. That's all we know about her.
  14. Breakdown from Marc Berman: 8:00 p.m. ABC – Once Upon a Time Viewers: 5.08 million (#2), A18-49: 1.6/ 5 (#2) ———- 8:30 p.m. ABC – Once Upon a Time Viewers: 4.96 million (#3), A18-49: 1.6/ 5 (#1) ABC didn't have a lot to tout, but there was this: Once Upon a Time (8-9pm – 5.0 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49): Spiking 60% over its lead-in at 8pm, ABC’s Once Upon a Time ranked #1 in its hour for its 6th consecutive original telecast in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5). The ABC drama was on par with its most recent Adult 18-49 rating (1.6/5 vs. 1.7/6).
  15. It had to have been before he & Ana went to Wonderland, because it's when he met Robin (at least that's what I got, but did do some fast-forwarding). They didn't go to Wonderland until after he convinced Robin & the Merry Men to rob Maleficent, and he stole the mirror that would get them there. So he still had his heart then. Shockingly, that actually fits into the chronology!
  16. And then he deleted his "Not true" reply to you! I saw his reply earlier, and now it's gone. Kind of odd. Man, I hate to be in concert with Natalie Abrams on something, but I have to agree with her there. FYI, that Magnus guy you're trying to have a reasonable conversation with is one of the most notorious SQ Bad Apples on Twitter, if not THE most notorious. He is militant and scary and says hateful things all the time.
  17. OMG, what a boring episode! It was even more boring than I thought it would be. I tried watching the whole Zelena/Rumple hospital scene so I could get all the "let me spell out my evil plan" narration/bwahaha-ing, but I finally had to hit the fast-forward button because it was just. so. tedious and uninteresting to me. The entire half-season has been nothing but a reconny mess. Can we imprison the current authors in the script and get a new author? Total fanservice. Can't have a Nimerfro ep without playing to his SQ crowd.
  18. So it sounds like I'll be able to get through this ep in about 4 minutes of fast-forwarding.
  19. Oh, I am so sorry! I have been there. Multiple times. It sucks. I was a huge part of two TV show fandoms years ago, and both shows ended up pissing me off royally to the point that there may have been a few tears shed. And there have been multiple other shows I loved that went downhill and crashed and burned (at least IMO). It seems too often to be the almost-inevitable way of TV shows. Very few keep up their quality for more than a few seasons. Watching a TV show every week and being involved in a fandom makes it a part of our lives, which opens us up to being burned by it. I swore off emotional investments in TV shows for like seven years after the last one. Captain Swan sucked me back in, and, well, of course Once is repeating the pattern! I'm not sure I have any advice to impart on making it easier, as I think time and distance are what ultimately made me feel better and let me forget about them. I tried finding fun things to watch instead that amused me but didn't tempt me to get emotionally involved. Look for fun, entertaining things that have nothing to do with that show -- whether it's another TV show, a series of books, or something diverting in real life.
  20. Aw, such a little cutie, Dani-Ellie! I want to pet her! She looks like my gray girl that's peeking from under the rug in my avatar.
  21. There is some talk that Sean's appearance rep told a few fans that Bex and Sean will both be regulars next season. I totally believe that about Sean, but I don't want to believe it about Bex. I didn't care for Zelena -- too much of a scenery chewer. And, of couse, the last thing this show needs is MORE regulars when they can't service well all the ones they already have. Oh, I just had the most ridiculous, soapiest thought EVER! What if Robin knocked up Zelena while she was pretending to be Marian? So now Regina's sister is pregnant with her soul mate's baby! Hahahahahahahaha sobsobsob.
