  1. Since it's such a web/twitter reliant program, how about we start a hashtag campaign? ETA: I couldn't wait - did it already.
  2. I know that it has to exist out there, but feel compelled to ask: is there a place on-line that has the credits 'explained'?
  3. He doesn't mention the show, but Apollo Robbins was on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on Saturday (a compilation of older segments): Professional Pickpocket Apollo Robbins Plays Not My Job. And there's this: Jamie's Attic - Why I Miss Leverage.
  4. I would have liked to learn more about Sophie too. (Heck, I would've loved it if there were a couple or three more seasons to learn more about all of the team.) The woman who played her Aunt was fantastic. I think that there was a missed opportunity - especially with the Star Trek: TNG connection - to have had someone I think would have been great to play her sister: Marina Sirtis. If it could've been in an episode with Chaos, all the better. Or, Frakes could've made more than just the MD's office appearance in front of the camera. Ah well, ideas for a movie.[/wishful thinking]
  5. Jeez, I'm like a one-person posting parade here. So I saw Atomic last week and really enjoyed. Harrison was quite good in it as both Paul Tibbets and Edward Teller. I'm glad I went; got exposure to a few new stage actors that I'd never seen before. Here's a link to a short performance that Harrison and two of his co-stars (Jeremy Kushnier and Sara Gettelfinger) did in Bryant Park a few weeks back (not my video).
  6. That statement pre-supposes that the US is a civilized nation. I went to Secondary School in Ireland. My dad sent my living expenses to an account that I & the Aunt who was my guardian there could access. I kept my 'pin money' in a Postal Account. iMonrey,Regarding legislators being entirely in the pockets of donor companies, in '09 or '10 I wrote a paper outlining the '08 downturn and in my research came across this article: Revolving Door, Bailout Edition. Doesn't matter what level of government, or what state/constituency, or what party. And, sadly, it's not just banking: it happens in pharma, agriculture, construction, etc.
  7. Double posting here 'cause I don't know where else to put this; on my Twitter feed this AM: tweets from Aldis Hodge & Wil Wheaton were right next to one another. It was like a Hardison and Chaos reunion.
  8. More stuff on NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), which we saw in The Reunion Job: David Kwong: We are all wired to solve.
  9. CH was HIGH-larious (I thought) on The Meltdown w/ Jonah & Kumail. He was equally hilarious on @midnight promo-ing it. He truly cannot tell a clean joke.
  10. i covet the outfit that Olivia was wearing when she and the hot-shot scientist's wife were outside in Prisoner's Dilemma - the outfit with the high waisted pants & the white shirt. I also covet having the right body to pull it off: I've got the height, not the slenderness.
  11. In yet another life imitating Leverage news piece: Researcher Can Hack Airplanes Through In-Flight Entertainment Systems. Wirelessly Hacking--And Unlocking--Cars Is Easier Than It Should Be.
  12. I can't be the only one thinking this: spin-off, anyone?
  13. Same. Also. I couldn't help but think that he looked like a South Asian version of Jonathan Bauer.
  14. Straight Outta Compton has had negative news for the casting sides for the women involved. Here's some good news: Aldis = MC Ren. Universal’s ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Casts its MC Ren and DJ Yella
  15. What about the English cousin to 'sammy' - the 'sarnie'?
  16. How will they read the love letters that their grandparents and great-grandparents wrote to one another? kariyaki, your second image reminds me of a friend (he passed away when his many, many demons finally caught up to him) who wanted to open a nightclub and call it "Club Baby Seal". He was going to upholster the whole place in white faux fur.
  17. I need to watch episode 1 On Demand, but before I do: Olivia Williams is enough to being me in. However: Tommy!Schlamme! = Yay!
  18. What about a 'tough roe to hoe?' - fish eggs that are difficult to move around?
  19. How 'bout the Firth of Forth? I ask only b/c I love saying "the Firth of Forth."
