WRT the area I bolded, a few years back I took a course in screenwriting for television. The instructor said over and over that characters on TV aren't meant to change. If they change, we'll stop watching. I replied that this makes for very boring & 'why watch' TV. Maybe Buck is one of the characters that proves that 'rule'. I'll give them a couple-three episodes to see how/whether this plotline works itself out.

I had the same thought, @Crashcourse. Perhaps in a day or so, they'll explain that there are times they'll need their privacy. She's old enough to understand the concept. Other thoughts formulating...

@seacliffsal - it was that scene with Uncle Antonio's friends that spurred on my worry about Antonio himself. I too hope we're wrong.

I'm unsurprised about the cancelation. I would've enjoyed them actually finding Sam. I think Ben & Alison both leaping is a good end-point. Had they not been canceled, it would've been interesting to see them on separate leaps. Even moreso if those separate leaps had conflicting aims in mind.

Again I say: I love John Ortiz. Glad they were able to get him for this.

Same! Tho I get Faith's comment at the end, too. How terrible it must be for her to see her Mum (whether deserved) be called corrupt and her sort-of Aunt too. With Jenna Elfman guesting & Christensen, I sure hope this show doesn't become overly cast w $cientologists. It takes me away from the story thinking of the actors' affiliations w the group.

I don't know whether this has been hinted at in an earlier episode. I do, however, enjoy and appreciate how that they dropped her flat tire at the park story at the start of this episode.

I've never gone on a cruise, even so, I'd imagine that the mega-cruises would have a fairly large & well stocked/staffed medical section.

I've read thru both E01 & E02 threads and haven't yet seen anyone mention that the Cruise Director's name is Julian. As in Julie, your Cruise Director from 🎼🎶🎵 The Looooooooove Boat, exciting and new.... 🎵🎶

Same!, to both comments. Faith & Will solidified their place in my heart with this: She's Gone (I don't think the clip gives the entire performance; apologies!). And is there room on the weird bench? I too prefer the CotW format. I don't mind some thru-arcs for each of the characters, but balanced w/ CotW.

Random thoughts: 1. Please, show, no arch-nemesis for Will. If we don't see Greg Germann/James Ulster (IMDb's spelling) again, I'll be fine. 2. Just wait, Betty & Nico (or Betty & Will, if he's deciding what she wears) are gonna show up in matching outfits. @possibilities, I'm surprised wornonv.net isn't covering this; Amanda & Faith are always wearing fantastic clothes; and, I mean, Will is known for flippin' three-piece suits! 3. Ormewood is just the kind of parent who would make a functioning gun for a kid's science project. The same short-sightedness of his affairs applies here (kind of like what you were saying, @Chaos Theory). 4. I love Faith. Badass indeed, @Snazzy Daisy. 5. Each episode I watch for how/where they're going to place the "WILL TRENT" show title. Really liked seeing it in the security monitors.

Agreed to all. Especially to Will's line about being warm & comfortable (I'll need to re-watch to get his precise dialogue). And having Cricket (RIP, we hardly knew ye!) say right after that: "Hello I'm Cricket, your bomb tech; I'll be disarming your bomb today" made that whole scene fantastic.

Grabbing this long-ago post to note that when POI was at ComiCon -right around when Snowden was in the news (I think)- they bought ad space on some of the hotel keycards: I really want to start a re-watch, but the Caviezel stuff has me staying away
