I thought so too. To me it looks like she's wearing her mother's wedding dress. In my head the storyline goes: Maddie wears Mum's wedding dress because many many years ago it was decided she would do so; Maddie really doesn't want to wear the dress; wedding as currently planned goes AFU; wedding is postponed; at a later date/time (during the same ep) Maddie & Chimney do the wedding THEIR WAY and Maddie wears the dress she actually really wants to.

Add another three years on since the above was posted and I'm still pissed that Sharon was killed off before the series finale. I never watched The Closer so I was totally new to all the characters and it was McDonnell's Raydor that pulled me in 100%.

I'll never be able to think of Peter Stormare as anything other than the Werner Herzog-esque documentary director who became besotted by Parker in Leverage, so it was tough for me to see him as the BIG!BAD!MAN. I forget what film it was, something that was at least partially filmed in the desert... about 10 or so years ago I read a story about the crew rigging a regular chair with four broomsticks to make something like an old style carrying chair/litter where the camera operator faced backwards, carried by four crew people, filming the actor walking towards the camera. I'm also intrigued by how they film running in the woods set pieces. These days I bet drones are used a whole lot.

I get that this is fiction, but I think LEOs aren't allowed to claim rewards. I liked it. Maybe because I like Diana Maria Riva & her delivery was spot-on when she said it.

WRT the area I bolded, a few years back I took a course in screenwriting for television. The instructor said over and over that characters on TV aren't meant to change. If they change, we'll stop watching. I replied that this makes for very boring & 'why watch' TV. Maybe Buck is one of the characters that proves that 'rule'. I'll give them a couple-three episodes to see how/whether this plotline works itself out.

I had the same thought, @Crashcourse. Perhaps in a day or so, they'll explain that there are times they'll need their privacy. She's old enough to understand the concept. Other thoughts formulating...

I'm unsurprised about the cancelation. I would've enjoyed them actually finding Sam. I think Ben & Alison both leaping is a good end-point. Had they not been canceled, it would've been interesting to see them on separate leaps. Even moreso if those separate leaps had conflicting aims in mind.

Again I say: I love John Ortiz. Glad they were able to get him for this.

Same! Tho I get Faith's comment at the end, too. How terrible it must be for her to see her Mum (whether deserved) be called corrupt and her sort-of Aunt too. With Jenna Elfman guesting & Christensen, I sure hope this show doesn't become overly cast w $cientologists. It takes me away from the story thinking of the actors' affiliations w the group.
