  1. An update on Pumpkin: she will eat the dry kidney food. She rejected the wet food. We make organic steamed chicken drumsticks for her as a "treat" because she was very depressed and distant with us for a long time. Now she's sort of settled into the dry kidney food and she'll eat that if she can have a little chicken once a day. She's back to running her drills around the house and being a snot.
  2. Allen has done a number of articles telling his side. He wrote an op-ed for the NYTimes. SoonYi had a friend of Woody's write an article. Woody Allen has published his own book. I mean, there's been plenty of opportunities for Woody to tell his side of the story and yet each time he tells it he sounds creepy. There has to be a reason the judge ruled so harshly against him.
  3. Just watched the third episode tonight. This episode was so icky. Woody Allen needs to burn in hell forever. His refusal to take a lie detector test said it all.

I'm surprised they'd pick up Blake Griffin. His body has been wrecked by injuries. And they already have a functional 5 in DeAndre Jordan.
  5. I think Ronan looks just like Mia. Frank has a much squarer, harder look.
  6. This whole SM gift giving culture has become deeply weird. Awhile back there was a huge controversy when a Broadway star auctioned off this jacket a fan group had given her. Fans were outraged when they saw the gift they had given this star auctioned. In Jill's case it seems like most of the gifts are smaller, more inexpensive items so it doesn't seem that off the wall.
  7. It's like totally a thing now. I follow someone on SM who doesn't even have that many followers (maybe a couple thousand) and she's constantly doing "unboxing" videos where she oohs and aahs over gifts people have sent her. It's become a way of growing your brand -- suppose you sell something on etsy they send gifts out to people on SM hoping to get a plug. In this case the doggy care book actually is a good, inexpensive gift. Jill's also gotten clothes and jewelry too, which is just weird.
  8. The TTH parties/gatherings are just the worst. I feel so grateful every day that I'll never have to attend one.
  9. Ok so here's a question: I have a love-hate relationship with tights. I sort of hate them but I also love them because I like to wear skirts sometimes in colder weather and tights make that possible. So everyone is talking about sheertex "unbreakable" tights. Anyone get them and know if they live up to the name? Also, their nude colored tights -- are they more like thick dance tights or like regular hose? They cost a lot but I wonder if they're worth just plunking down the money.
  10. I think Mia was manipulative. Also had very poor judgment about how much care she could really give all these special-needs children. I think that played right into Woody's hands. When the mother figure is absent/spacey/self-absorbed it's easier to groom victims.
  11. Apparently Bette Davis campaigned hard for the role and didn't get it. I couldn't see her as Scarlett though.
  12. The issue is that I think Fenna might have been an inside dog in her previous life. It seems like she's a bit of a velcro dog which is the way many retrievers and Belgian mal/GSD dogs are. The thing to remember about ALL dogs is that they're highly intelligent mammals. They have their own personalities, their quirks, and their needs. Some dogs are fine doing their own thing in a big backyard. Others need to be inside next to their owners at all time.
  13. I found this: some Scarlett screentests. Some of these seem SO wrong. Omg.
  14. She is adorable! Has a very sweet face but looks like she puts up with no shit, if that makes sense, lol.
  15. @rue721 just curious, what kind of dog is Portia? I feel depressed. A few days ago I saw that Fenna had a doggie bed inside and a crate and was hopeful. But Jill seems to give up so easily.
  16. The crazy thing is Fenna does not seem that difficult. It sounds like they didn't take her out to do her business enough during the daytime so of course she woke up at night. That's actually a GOOD THING that the dog communicates that she needs to do her business. Fenna doesn't seem aggressive and she seems good with kids. This is not a difficult dog, even for newbies. You just need to make an emotional commitment to train her.

Shaq sucks. I don't think he;s a bad guy or anything but he's definitely a real Norma Desmond. I also think his game would not really be effective today. Big centers like Joel Embiid have FT% that hover around 80%. Shaq's 50% and change free throw percentage shooting was a problem in his time and would be a bigger problem today. I just don't like his sourpuss attitude on Inside the NBA.
  18. Well my experience is the opposite. I was going to work and heard a kitten crying. She had been abandoned. I knew I couldn't leave her out there so I put her in my apartment. I had nothing, not even a kitty litter. After work I went to Walmart and got a crash course in what to buy. But I think it's more like an emotional commitment. The Duggars in general are very poor with emotional commitments to people other than themselves.
  19. Fenna seems really sweet. My heart hurts. The most important things for a family dog is that they are not aggressive and that they're kid friendly. Fenna seems to be both -- I loved how the neighborhood kids were fussing over her.
  20. Aww. That dog seems really sweet, just high energy. And if she has some GSD in her they are HIGHLY intelligent and thus will chew a rope or figure out a way to go "on a walk" if they aren't taken out on a walk. I also don't get how Jill, who stays at home all day with one kid, is so overwhelmed. Fenna doesn't seem particularly high maintenance. Just a typical puppy.
  21. I found this picture of Fenna. Good lord she is cute. Very sweet face.
  22. Well on the one hand that's good. If Fenna becomes part of her SM brand she's less likely to ditch Fenna. With Joy/Austin and poor Brielle I feel like they got the dog and had no intention of keeping it as a part of their brand, so that dog ... who knows what happened?
  23. Here's a new peeve: I hate the frosted pink lipstick that female anchors wear. I actually don't know why this look (along with the blonde highlights) is such a dominant look amongst female anchors. I know that makes me sound petty but IMO frosted pink lipstick is a look that flatters no one.
  24. Jill seems to want to do the things she didn't do as a kid. A healthy relationship with animals is one of those "I never got to do this as a kid" stuff. So is watching TV series (even if it's something cheesy and Jesusy as The Chosen), wearing pants, getting a nose ring, cutting her hair.
