I’m wondering about the motivation of Sandy to “help” Cindy. In the beginning it seemed like Sandy had good intentions and truly wanted to help Cindy turn her life around. But then, with total control of what Cindy could eat, Sandy obviously didn’t do anything to provide Cindy with healthy food in reasonable portions. [Not to mention that she had no bed for Cindy (which Sandy lied about), and didn’t seem equipped to care for her properly.] What was Sandy’s end game here? Is it truly impossible to not provide a bedridden person with whatever unhealthy foods and huge portions that person wants? I’m baffled.
