I think part of the problem for me is that “they” is a plural form in traditional usage, so I have to consciously remind myself who the pronoun is referring to... In Swedish/Norwegian/Danish the pronouns are HAN for “he” and HUN for “she” so they have been using HEN for gender non-conforming/fluid and I think it would be much easier for English speakers if we had a word that was between “he” and “she” that could sound different but clearly refer to one person but that’s just this COL’s opinion...

I see where Jeremy got his lack of spelling and grammar prowess.

It’s possible you just use the handheld shower sprayer and stand over the drain in the floor - I haven’t been to Korea but when I was staying with a Greek friend in Athens, (named Euripides! sister named Athena!) he showed me to the bathroom where there was a drain in the floor and a tub but no shower curtain of any kind...I sat in the tub and carefully used the handheld shower head to take a shower. When I was done his mom came in with a mop and looked around wondering where all the water she was expecting to mop up was - I guess they just stood in the tub, sprayed away and mopped up later...

And the PURPLE countertop in the second bathroom!!!

If I remember correctly, the high priestess of LulaNO actually sent(sends?) people to have a gastric bypass in Mexico with her preferred doctor...but would those clothes even look that much better on a thinner person? I don’t think it’s the body that is the problem 😂

They do show him looking at a video, but it is not a video chat - it’s a video she made and sent him. As his boss/friend points out she never says anything personal in the videos she sends, not even his name. He only ever talks on the phone with her. I’m guessing the videos are made by models and sent to multiple suckers, meanwhile a call center of Russian grannies in babushkas work the phone lines to reel in every penny they can...

I totally agree, but also wonder if Avery sees her new wardrobe not so much as a way to respect the country she’s visiting but more as an exciting new costume to go with her newest fad/obsession...?

I had to look up some synonyms for ember and related words...they have some wonderful choices! Soot, Ash (could actually work) Slag, Coal, Clinker, Smut, Cinder, Spark (also not horrible?) Char, Stoke, Slack, Culm...

Such awkward phrasing and blatant mistakes...”Kale” capitalized...”make so good food”...Axels little truck” (no apostrophe)...and no question mark at the end. Maybe if the content was more inspiring or interesting I might overlook the errors, but c’mon!!

She may have lost a bit, but I think age and gravity are pulling her fat apron down and thus it appears somewhat smaller in girth 😉

Here in the Seattle area we have a large Pacific Islander population and I think over the years leis have become standard for many at graduations and even weddings. Our Costcos carry leis during the whole graduation season.

The grammar nerd in me is required to say “We Got This” ?? Maybe from the same marketing firm who thought “Be Best” was grammatically correct???
