Katie stated her theme was classy and elegant so I guess if you’re a Bates, that means everyone was dressed in black or white. Except KJ whose dress was a green or grey and not flattering to her at all.

It looks like the wedding was daytime, it was sunny in all the outdoor pictures. So is Hannah at TTH for the holidays? Maybe they are waiting for the trial to be over to announce their engagement?

Well that was how Katie described her wedding plans but I’m not sure she had a clue.

Looks like Jer and Hannah were at Katie Bates wedding today. Picture of them posted on Instagram, she looked very plain. I guess she didn’t get the classy, elegant memo from Katie.

She’s a girl so she doesn’t need to know anything. I’m sure Anna has some phoney excuse or story about Daddy living somewhere else for some vague reason. Mack probably remembers when Smuggar went off to Jesus Jail and she must know you never question anything, so she’s keeping quiet.

Perhaps Jill is the snitch in Bobye Holt’s testimony.

JB has probably already moved Jill to the “never see again or allow in my house” list just by allowing her name to be listed as a witness. We have seen Meechelle and some of the siblings interacting with the Dillards but this may be not be allowed by JB at all. He is so controlling he can’t possibly allow this very public event, Jill testifying for the prosecution, that he clearly disapproves of, to go unpunished. And what else can he do to Jill at this point but forbid any contact. What a great example of family values and Christianity.

The Vuolo’s are so sketchy but yet boring I find myself skipping this thread completely!

If she’s going to wear dark dresses every day for the trial, I think Anna should have gotten dark shoes. I know the Duggars love brown shoes but the ones she’s been wearing don’t really go with the rest of her outfits. Lol I guess she’s got bigger things to worry about.

This could explain why both Lauren and Lily Swanson were bridesmaids for Hannah Reber Keller.

Did Lemuel and his wife attend the recent wedding? I think they live in the Little Rock area, so not local but not that far away.

I guess if you’re a Bates you don’t realize all the people with regular jobs and school generally travel on the Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving. And all this wedding hoopla is more of the same, but I would not be surprised if Alyssa plays the “cos of you I live sooooo far from my family” card. What is John doing while all this wedding fun happens? I also doubt that the Webster girls have done any schooling recently and probably won’t until 2022.

Jessa is her own worst enemy in her attempts to become an influencer. From what I’ve read it takes a lot of time to set up what you’re posting, you can’t just show your kids flopping around in a messy house. She has a lot of followers but she’s got to do more to turn that into income. So far, not seeing it. She’s too haughty and lazy. Bin doesn’t seem to be 100% on board either.

Maybe he can’t, have we seen any facial hair on Boob? That would be really funny if he can’t.

Maybe Claire doesn’t like facial hair? One of the pictures I saw it almost looked like he had a tiny bit under his chin, but it was probably just a shadow, lol.

Carlin Bates and Evan went on vacation with his family to Branson recently. They went to a performance about Jesus’s life IIRC at the Sight and Sound theater. Seems like Branson may be new Fundie destination. I think Joy and Austin drove down to meet up with Carlin too.

German from New England, no pickles or olives at holidays. Married to Polish/French Canadian, lots of both pickles and olives at all holiday meals. Some of the dishes at JillyBean’s Thanksgiving are pretty normal looking, but it doesn’t seem like enough turkey. But maybe the Rodlets are so used to eating so little, it was plenty 🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess mention was the wrong word, I was just wondering if KJ felt the same way about Tiffs adoptive parents as she seemed to towards Whits. Good point about it being an adoption from China, I guess it’s ok as Tiffy was then raised Christian.

Thank goodness someone remembered to bring JillyBean flowers! Probably TimBits, otherwise he might not have been allowed to eat. Also I guess only men are allowed to sit at the table?

Has KJ mentioned that Tiffy is adopted? Or will she wait until after the wedding? It was very strange how KJ pushed Whit back towards her birth parents, it seemed like the only issue with the adoptive parents was the adoption. Whit was so anxious to please KJ it’s not surprising.

Those sheets are adorable, are they flannel? Winter makes it hard to be a dog owner. When we lived in Connecticut it seemed like my dog took twice as long to find the right “spot”. This was my first Thanksgiving without my mom and dad, it was rough. But still thankful I had them as long as I did.

Maybe we haven’t seen Nurie in any posts is due to her and the Not Nuries doing all the cooking while JillR is filming and posting on SM.

JillR might have purposely under decorated (for her) so that everyone can send her more stuff. Especially Christmas junk.
