I look forward to this possession storyline ending. Not enjoying it at all

It was nice to see Steve and Kayla just hanging around having dinner with Abe. I wish they had more to do but Ron has his favorites and they don't appear to be one of them. The actors are too good to be wasted but they are. I hated what the possession did to the show in the 90s. I wasn't a fan of it even though it was well done. I felt like I was watching different characters from who I watched in the 80s. But I think something as gimmicky as the possession works better for todays soaps. Today's writers don't write stories with depth or for character anymore so something as gimmicky as the devil is right up Ron's alley

She's had front burner storylines and she has kids and grandkids so she's surrounded by family. That's more than I can say for other vets on this show.

Agree. I think the issue is Ron doesn't know how to write for anyone else unless you're his faves Marlena, Paulina, Cin.

The Doug and Marlena scenes weren't spooky enough. If you're going to do this stuff you got to sell it. The atmosphere was not right for it. Kudos to Bill Hayes but perhaps he's too old to do this stuff. I don't know but it wasn't scary enough. I didn't enjoy the SL in the 90s but I did find some of it creepy which was lacking today

its really sad how we're likely stuck with Ron till the end. The show is dreadful. There's not one good storyline airing. and I'm fed up with his favoritism

How dare Jennifer be upset that Jack cheated on her? Seriously? The writing on this show is whacked! Poor Jack couldn't wait it out a year while his wife was in a coma. Poor poor Jack. Spare me. I guess marriage doesn't mean in sickness and in health Don't get me wrong. I'm sure Jen will forgive Jack but its been 1 freaking day and the narrative is that Jack is the victim and Jen is wrong to be angry at him. What dumb way to write things. It's almost as bad as poor poor Tripp while Allie is doubting who raped her

Well, the question is whether he's lying. He did assault Kayla and Joey so he's capable of violence. I'm not saying he's guilty because I don't know but I can understand why Kayla would doubt him. He did attack her. I tend to think Ron won't write him as guilty but I think the story works better if he was.

yeah, MAs acting can be cringy. He did okay with some of the Abby scenes but he was terrible in those flashbacks. He over does it too much. It's bad. Cady has some bad moments but overall I think she did ok. She's just not Jennifer. There's nothing similar to Missy Reeves so its feels like completely different character. I guess the only similarity between what Jack and Allie did is they were both drunk. Jack and Kate both agreed it was mutual. Allie says she said no. I enjoy Steve and Kayla but I think the story works better if Tripp is guilty but I dont think that's where this is going. I'm not really attached to Tripp since he's not Joey or Stephanie and I hate Ava. I actually think the actor who plays Tripp would be a good bad guy

Hmmm I thought it was ok. I really liked Evans but I really didn't like Dockery. I usually enjoy her but thought she was miscast here

SN is totally sexy as Stefano. I think the more he plays him the more convincing he has become I do miss Steve though. I know Kate never pays for anything but I can't wait till Kayla finds out about all this

I love this show. That ending took me by surprise. I assume they'll be another season but how long a wait

That reveal at the end was epic. I was spoiled but its been fun to read the tweets from folks who were not. Kayla is so beautiful. It's so sad that she thinks Steve abandoned her. She's cute with Justin but wait till she finds out what's happened to Steve. Can't wait!
