I kind of hate that Kayla just accepts that Steve would just leave her. Now I know this was their story in 2015 but in the end it turned out Steve left to protect her and the kids. It's a stupid story but the writers came up with it to explain SNs time on YR. Why wouldn't she suspect something is wrong again? He was working for the ISA and pursuing the Dimeras. That should set off alarm bells for her. Steve was arrested last year but Kayla was still talking to him. He was released and Kayla was still talking to him. He even sent her flowers at some points. Why isn't she questioning why he suddenly leaves, signs her divorce papers and doesn't return for Adrienne's funeral. I hate that she's not questioning that something might be wrong. I hate that Steve has no one on his side. Steve was on Bo's side in 2015. Where's Steve's Bo? It certainly isn't Jack!

Kayla sent Steve divorce papers to get him to come back to her? I hate it but I love it because it makes my shipper heart break for her and them. Jack's reaction was WTF. After everything he did to Steve and Kayla in the end he was their champion. He looked up to their relationship and Steve. For him to judge Steve like he did is not the Jack I remember. For Kayla to ask for her rapist approval was another wtf. Come on show. Kayla would never do that! Lastly, MA was terrible in this ep. He almost ruined those scenes with Kayla and Jack.

Loved todays episode. Kayla was on and even though she's romancing Justin I know they won't last. What I like about Kayla and Justin is that its an adult story for this show. A romance born out of shared grief. MBE and Wally work well together too. Love Princess Gina. Drake was terrible. A little subtely goes a long way

Ben and Ciara had such potential during that cabin stuff. It's been downhill ever since then. I thought VK had potential but I find her an odd actress. She was weird yesterday during her scenes with Victor. Overall I did like this episode. The reveal about Adrienne was well done. Poor Adrienne. I love the Johnsons so I'm hoping there's a twist at the end and she's not really dead. So far, I think the timejump has added a good mystery to the show.

Overall I liked it. I still have no interest in the baby drama and I still can't stand Sarah. The opening flashback montage of Jack taking care of Jenn wasn't good mostly because of MA. He played it so oddly. He needs to be more serious where he played it like a comedy. It was weird and I think because of him. Can't wait for the Kayla stuff to play out. Love her new hair too

To my surprise I liked Fridays ep. The weak scenes were that RIDICULOUs speech John and Marlena gave Jack about the hourglass. That was bad. I think a lot of it has to do with the DHs acting which just bugs. DHim and that squinting drives me crazy. On the whole I really look forward to next week.

JJ/Haley and Eli/Lani just about ruined this ep. They put me to sleep. How is anyone supposed to care about these couples when the show puts zero efforts to build a relationship with depth. JnJ were fine. I didn't really feel much because how many times have we seen this same story since Ron has been there. He really does recycle his SLs

If only Eli and Lani had some life in them. Eli isn't bad but Lani is a cardboard cut out

How does Kayla allow the same technology that was used for Steve's eye to be used for Julie's pacemaker? How do we not see her question using Dimera technology? This is what happens when we have a headwriter who writes for plot and not for character. Shit like Kayla breaking rules depending on the story or letting Gabi literally throw shit at you? That's what happesn when you have a headwriter who doesn't know how to write for all his characters in a story.

I've been a on and off viewer of Y&R for years. Can someone give me a quick rundown of why the dislike of DG. I have no feelings either way but I don't know the history. I only know that I was kind of looking forward to his characters romance with Tracy it ended abruptly. I get that DG seem to play a part in that. Is there more to the story?

I really liked seeing Justin, Adrienne, Jack and Jen together. I'm glad they skipped the Jack and Jen love scene. They are good at doing some comedy bits but romance isn't their thing. MA is the most non sexual actor I can remember. The worst screen kisser too. That hasn't changed since the 80s.

This Gabi stuff is pathetically bad

That doesn't excuse her literally throwing items at the doctor. What makes it worst is Ron and company didn't let Kayla react. Kayla isn't the enemy here and to let a vet character like Kayla be treated that way is just terrible one sided writing. No surprise for Ron though. Just don'dt try and sell it as an epic love story. Gabi's reaction was ridiculously OTT. Par for the course with Ron

Kayla didn't do anything wrong in her medical treatment of both Stefan and Kate. Gabi was completely unreasonable and her pity party is pathetic. She's known Stefan for a hot minute.

I am wondering if sometimes the show does see when a couple or SL is a fail before they receive the fan feed back. JJ and Haley have suddenly disappeared. Haley has been MIA for awhile. I hope someone there recognized how bad the actor and that SL were. Maybe there is some hope. lol

I think Ben/Ciara , Gabi/Stefan and Sarah/xander all had potential but its the writing that failed them. Everything is so rushed today that they don't give you enough time to feel invested. Xander should be hiding his feelings from Sarah. Ben should feel self loathing for what he did. Ciara should have a life and career outside of him. So much potential but Ron has failed them all.

You can tell KA has had some recent work done too.

I wish I liked the actor who plays Max more. He's got the smirk down pat and I find it as annoying as when George Clooney does it. I do like Helen and she's basically the main reason I still watch.

The Gabi and Stefan relationship all happened way too quick for my taste so I dont buy how torn up Gabi is. It's also weird that a few weeks ago viewers hated Stefan for raping Abby but that is all forgotten now.

What is going on with Jordans face? Did the actress have work done because its so distracting? They are playing this Xander stuff all wrong. Don't these writers watch the classic soaps? The bad guy shouldn't be so open with his feelings. This pathetic Xander falling all over Sarah is not fun to watch. Ugh.

I enjoyed the Kayla and Kate scenes yesterday and I hate Kate. They were pretty funny. Days needs to get rid of whoever is dressing most of the cast. That outfit VK wore for Ciara to visit Julie was so ridiculous. She looked so ridiculous

The show just needs to stop having Kayla make it all better for him. I like watching them together but I hate when they use Kayla to make what he did ok for him. The writing is currently too one sided to make Jack feel better instead of being about Kayla. It's been a long time and they've come a long way but Ron keeps bringing the rape up and I don't like the way he does it.

I enjoyed todays ep. The JnJ reunion was as expected. I don't expect much from these writers so it went as I expected. It had some sweet moments but could have been so much more. I liked the Jack and Kayla scene. Kayla is always akward with him but I think its unfair to the character of Kayla for her to be the one to have to make Jack feel better about himself.

MEKs face was so smooth looking. It was kind of weird but it was good to see him. Leave it to GH to give him such a boring intro. Gawd, I hate Sonny and Carly

It kept me entertained even though I find the whole tortured soul I do one night stands and drink so tired. I don't find it very likable. It just makes me roll my eyes
