Ending strong (for me) - 3/5. Should’ve been 4 but I could not remember the Titanic boat name. I was really surprised none of the contestants got it either!

I don’t watch either program and that was the ONLY fact I knew about Torchwood. LOL

It was an LP by The Who, but I’m pretty sure that’s not what you meant.

It’s like they’re a cult.

I first thought of Rumours for FJ but thought that album was highly praised so I went with the oft-reviled Eagles. I was confused by Alex’s first statement before answers were revealed. I thought he said something like “Wake up, wake up”. Usually if he says something before FJ answer reveals, it’s some kind of hint to the answer. I did like Alex hoping Eric would get the “idle” answer so he could make an “Eric Idle” joke.

I’m getting a little tired of all the surrealistic scenes. They’re well done, but not really what I wanted from this show.

Ditto on getting it right and having no idea who Carl/Carle is or was until I looked it up and saw it was The Very Hungry Caterpillar author. Why that would pop into two people’s heads is beyond me. I thought the champ’s lookalike was going to be Ray Romano.

I’ll be honest, I always have to wait a beat when using either of those words to make sure I use the right one. I know the difference but it’s just a mental block for me.

All good players today, but middle lady was getting on my nerves when the champ would buzz in first and she would turn and look at him EVERY TIME. Then there was a TS and when no one was ringing in she STILL looked over at him, as if she was thinking, “Are you going to answer?!” It was weird. I thought FJ was pretty easy (based on the fact that I got it right - LOL).

And yet their Halloween costumes were from “True Romance” (a 26 year old movie) and another girl was Jodie Foster in “Taxi Driver” (an over 40 year old movie). I know these are cult movies with fans of all ages, but come on.

What an exciting turn of events at the end of the game with the exact end result I did not want.

New champ made me think “Is that Jason Schwartzman’s ‘Rushmore’ character grown up?” All three players were strong today! I was lost on FJ, even after they revealed the correct answer.

Do they always put the warning (not just rating) at the start of the episodes? If so, I must FF through it. I saw that warning and thought for sure something REALLY violent or twisted was going to happen this episode and kept holding my breath, but this episode didn't seem any more violent and/or twisted than any of the others.

Weirdest game of Clue ever.

Acoustic guitar...made of wood...trees had to die to make it. It was a very literal guess, but it still made me laugh.

3/5 this week. The writers must be on a summer break and had their kids write the FJ questions.

Did the woman on the end even answer a single question before the first commercial break? I thought for sure she was a goner but she rallied nicely. I was rooting for middle guy. I do like Sam’s gutsy DD wagering, though.

I thought FJ would be another easy one and was surprised two contestants got it wrong. I’ll admit that Sam’s incorrect guess of Roseanne Connor was a good one!

Wow, that FJ was a real gimme. They could’ve at least made it harder by asking for the author’s name, just to weed out anyone who only knew the movie!

Poor Alex gets so fed up when there are so many wrong answers/guesses.

And suddenly Luke talks like a Sacha Baron Cohen character for some reason. Very niiice!

I agree. I’m not really sure what’s going on, but that doesn’t seem plausible. My thought was that he got pulled in for some offense and we saw him being released. Or maybe pulled in to be questioned because of his relationship with Jane, not that he was set up to get involved with her. Honestly, I’m kind of worried that he has some offense concerning minors in his past, just because of how quickly he wanted to meet Ziggy.
