  1. Sabrina's Mom’s room would be improved 50% by simply sweeping everything off the black dresser thing and taking down the paper airplanes. The barf bags, CUBA, and planes were just dumb ideas. I didn’t mind the covering on the storage closet. I hated that the headboard pattern was random and that next to that wallpaper would drive me crazy. At least Ty left her TV and ceiling fan. I fast forwarded through the stripper part. Enough with the stupid shenanigans.
  2. Good show. I usually fast forward through any WU characters, but I do like Heidi’s teenage girl appearances. I want middle Jonas Brother’s jacket. That Beauty and the Beast sketch was so odd but still made me laugh. Wilbur.
  3. Week 34: 2/5 (Terrible, but infinitely better than last week) Week 35: 1/5
  4. It would be plenty of time if the question reader read faster and also replied back with when it was right faster. As soon as they lock in a correct answer, it should automatically go green and they should move on.
  5. I said “good grief” too, but I stuck with it. It made as much sense as the answer “warm puppy” but wasn’t as adorable.
  6. Just based on the FJ category, I was guessing the answer could be Socrates, Plato, or Mr. Kotter. Ha ha.
  7. @teebax! It was great to finally see your episode! Take pride in being the only one to get FJ...and for being a calm contestant with no quirks and non-annoying buzzer habits! I thought today’s questions were considerably more difficult than yesterday's. Though Carl Sagan (with a photo) for a DD at $1000...I don’t know.
  8. Every once in awhile I get a vibe from a contestant that they walked in thinking they were going to steamroll right through the game. I got that from one of them today. These tournaments with wildcards screw up the game. The woman on the right’s FJ bet wasn’t enough to win, even though she had enough to do so if she was right and middle guy was wrong. So she was just hedging her bet to get a higher amount instead of gambling on a possible for-the-win bet.
  9. But she took special notice of her neighbor telling her if she asks someone to leave her property and they don’t, she can legally shoot them. I'm not sure anyone mentioned it yet, but there was a very telling detail about Judy. In several interactions with Steve, he would get belligerent, she would say something like, “Hey!” or “Stop!” He would quickly say sorry and almost immediately she would say “It’s OK”. Every time.
  10. If they don’t have a second season after how the last episode ended, I’m going to be mad. But I do think they’ll have to make it a different kind of show if they do move forward. I thought this series was fantastic, though. Apparently James Marsden and Paul Rudd know where the Fountain of Youth is but just won’t tell anyone.
  11. I hope the couple that got Doug’s room doesn’t have allergies. Draped material on the ceiling is such a dust catcher and it’s impossible to clean. (Or did I miss that it was attached in a way that it could be removed and washed?)
  12. I like older Sandler much more than young Sandler. Thought he did well in most skits and I like the settledness that a lot of people read as him not caring about stuff anymore. I even enjoyed Opera Man, which I kind of hated back in the day. Unpopular opinion...I pretty much fast forward through anything Kate McKinnon-centric and I’ve never liked the gross bar couple skits, except for Keenan’s reactions. The show has, to me, “Wiig-ed” her by overusing her. That filmed song bit was terrible.

  14. Nope!
  15. I was worried about James for awhile. Several (for him) incorrect answers and the guy at the end seemed pretty speedy on the buzzer. But then there came steamroller James, saying “Not today...” I couldn’t even imagine a guess other than the correct one for FJ, but then the middle contestant came up with a not bad guess. But I’m sure that possibility was why Alex said something about hoping they’d paid attention to the category, AMERICAN plays. Because James is originally from my area, my office has decided to let people take a break from work to watch Jeopardy. Weird.
  16. I hope the light-up dance crew swapped in new people every once in awhile. If not, those dancers were performing that dance over 50 times in a row with no breaks.

    S38.E12: Awkward

There sure were some interesting dynamics going on with the family visits this year.
  18. I don’t know...seems to me like you’re still kind of on the fence.
  19. But I didn’t! It was set on the DVR this morning and when I got home, nothing was recorded. I wonder if I lost power during the storm. Boo hiss.
  20. Wait...you’re in Chicago, aren’t you? If so, that means no Jeopardy for me, either! Argh!!!!
  21. She did, but I was thinking that tissue paper can't be peeled off like strips of heavier wallpaper can, especially since she overlapped it in parts.
  22. The tissue paper treatment on the wall just ended up looking like very subtle stucco. What a nightmare to get rid of if they ever want to change it. Hildi always looks so pleased when homeowners are happy to see they’ll be working with her. She knows they’re just ecstatic because it means Hildi isn't doing THEIR room, right? I thought both rooms were an improvement and both sets of homeowners seemed happy, so that was nice. I’m on board with everyone who wishes they’d cut down on the shenanigans. And I don’t think things like “I’m sweating my balls off” belong on this kind of show.
  23. Yes! It was initially James at 15, but he got older! I was exactly the target audience because I would’ve been just a bit shy of that age when it aired. I remember it was controversial at the time because in one episode he had a sexual experience (not something teens did on TV shows in the 70’s).
  24. My first perfect week - 0/5! I think James is not only making me FEEL stupider, but he is somehow actually MAKING me stupider.
  25. I feel like almost no one is watching this show. It's not spectacular but it's quirky and different for a network show. I always get some laughs out of it. I hope Pizza Slap isn't a real game.
