  1. Popular aired on the WB in 1999, Nip/Tuck started in 2003.
  2. while it can be true that it leads to bullying and hate, it doesn't always. My daughter came out in 10th grade as trans and finished high school as herself. She attends a gender clinic in a Cincinnati Children's hospital with over 1000 patients ranging from elementary to college. i live in Northern Kentucky and from attending meetings at the clinic, can honestly say every major school in the northern Ky area probably has at least one child that is out and probably more. Ranging from pretty rural schools to more urban. It is much more prevalent than most people are aware. Luckily children today seem to have a more relaxed attitude than in the past, my daughters experience was amazing.
  3. I remember that, I just thought OP meant they gave the test the same way. I enjoyed the call back as well.
  4. No they didn't. I was thinking they did as well and watched the episode on Netflix to compare. Stevie Nicks sang Seven Wonders in what amounted to an extended music video as the girls got ready and then they did the tests with Cordelia explaining each beforehand. "There has to be a reason Queenie and Madison weren't with Cordelia when she, Zoey, and Myrtle showed up at the bunker. I wonder what that is." -sorry I couldn't figure out out to add this as a second quote I may be wrong, but I believe Michael retrieved them after. They arrive to see Michael, say no to him, he goes and gets Queenie and Madison and shows buck up as they are leaving.
  5. Mallory saying that something inside her was clawing it's way out leads me to speculate that maybe a couple of the Coven witches are "inside" the bodies of Mallory, Coco and Dinah. That would also explain Madison's comment.
  6. I live in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati and we have ATMs that dispense in denominations of 10 AND the newer PNC bank ATMs (from about 2014 on) can do any dollar amount from 1.
  7. I am a parent to a trans teen. Her medicine IS covered by insurance, i only pay about 15 a month out of pocket. Since I am in a parents group , I also know that the testosterone that he would take is usually covered but it is actually cheaper to buy outright and usually runs less than 75 for a three month supply including syringes at most pharmacies. My child goes to a trans clinic at the local childrens hospital but I know a lot of areas have a walk in clinic similar to planned parenthood. That being said, while he would most likely not be taking steroids, the testosterone does have a side effect of aggression etc. Since I am a parent to a trans teen and have been attending support groups for several years, I can answer this. Some parents adapt quicker than others. It is not unusual for a parent to have trouble with pronouns for awhile . In our case the transition has been very smooth. Surgery is considered very personal and not something anyone should ever ask a trans individual. Some do not ever have it, others cannot wait. It is very expensive to have bottom surgery.
  8. I humbly disagree. A lot of us up in Northern Kentucky can leave both teams and follow UC!
  9. This is the only one I saw the twist coming from a mile away. I was suspicious when she parked so far away. I know it’s a gas station but she needed nothing from there to charge her car. From the moment he drank the water, I was sure. This! As soon as he started, I thought the same thing!
  10. The graduation scene was not that inaccurate, really. Most, not all but most, US schools call it a commencement, not convocation, however. I’ve been to ceremonies at several large universities and had to google that term after it was used emphatically 12 times this episode, lol. Kelly is at her bitchiest this episode. I hated the evolution to Saint Kelly Donna whispering in bed waiting for David. Seriously, what was the plan? I think she just waited until he came in.
  11. Huge Kevin Smith fan, but he didn’t ask to be on the show. He didn’t watch it until afterhe did his cameo and then he loved it. He talks a lot about it in one of his books, a compilation of his blog posts he later buys the dvds and binges them, loves it and I believe gets the season 2 episodes before they air, but I could be wrong about that Originally posted by Kevin Smith at SilentBobSpeaks.com (http://www.silentbobspeaks.com)(his online journal). I head over to the set of the UPN series “Veronica Mars”. Dan Etheridge (the priest in the opening scene of “Dogma”, as well as the voice of Mr. Plug) is the producer on “Veronica”, and he’s asked me to do a cameo in the second episode of the new season. Because the dude’s such an excellent friend (and because I’m a total whore who likes to see his fat self on TV), I jump at the chance to play, of all things, a convenience store employee. I hang out with Dan a bit, meet the episode’s writer Diane, then shoot the scene with Veronica Mars herself, Kristin Bell. The whole day lasts about five hours, and I have a blast doing it.
  12. I remember reading on TWOP about his creepy fixation with Hilarie. I’m not surprised.
  13. So I watch the show on the Fox now app. I watched the next time episode 10 preview just now with the subtitles on and for the last line spoken by Kai, the subtitles say it was spoken by Tate Langdon. What the heck?
  14. This topic is old but, a couple of things. The Heights aired before Jamie joined 90210, so not a spin-off. He did sing it on 90210 a heck of a lot, though. Also the article is wrong, the Rembrandt’s theme song for Friends was number one for 8 weeks. Closer to free from party of five never made it to number one.
  15. I may be showing my age (42), but if I was asked in an interview if I voted, I would reply "with all due respect if I vote and who I vote for is a private matter and I would rather not discuss politics ". I think it is tacky and was kind of put off by the repeated questions about Trump and his cabinet etc. I don't remember them doing that in the past Also, while I was very excited to vote when I turned 18, it was during Clinton's first run and he made a huge attempt to reach voters my age by going on MTV, Arsenio etc. I can understand that someone at that age, that is probably not necessarily invested in the outcome, let's say, might not feel the urge to vote. My 21 year old son (white athletic male) is more interested in college and fraternity life and could not be persuaded to get involved. My 17 year old MTF daughter followed the process daily this time and was more knowledgeable than me and lamented the fact she could not vote. Yes it was. The similarities are obvious once you realize they are there. The names and other details were changed to be published but they are the same in the original fanfic. It's out there on the interwebs if you are ever bored. The books are horribly written to boot. I cannot count how many times someone "murmured". People where murmuring in helicopters. Ain't nobody hearing you murmur in a freaking helicopter.
