Lucky for them this is occurring before the era of telemarketing robo-calls and selling of phone number lists. I don't automatically assume that Pastor Tim fell completely for the liberation theology ploy. It was certainly put forth very earnestly enough, but he might be smart enough to call time on it after a bit of reflection.

So the FBI finds an earset that the bad guys were using (bad luck for the previous owner). Maybe it's just me, but I would have put it on and maybe listened in on their conversations, found out about operator 46, etc. But, no, let's run a partial print, trace it to a house in Phoenix, wait for the local agents to run that down, trace some phone calls back to a local house (I WANT that DSL connection), establish that the ownership is false, and then go out to the house to check it out. Meanwhile, back at the ranch. I have never once fast forwarded through this show, but that ended when DJ Tom put that record on and cued the lights. That scene alone should have made him a Blacklister. Why did no one on Reddington's team not notice that the goon squad weren't wearing any body armor on their legs? Not being able to hit the broad side of a barn notwithstanding, they could have done a lot better than endangering every citizen for a mile around the gunfights. Again, if someone maybe had the foresight to shoot Solomon, much of the incentive to fight goes out the window for the mercs. Mr. Kaplan sure stepped on Reddington at the "clinic". And then Elizabeth. He knew it, too Did I hear right? Agnes??

Not all countries have an extradition treaty with the US, and not all crimes are always covered. I think Sweden is one of those, in that espionage is not covered in the treaty.

I thought that the KGB probably provided them with a ringer, based on an off-camera request, maybe. Almost certainly (to me) he was not a real priest, as I don't know that the Reagan Administration would let an obviously leftist Salvadoran priest gain a visa to the US, seeing as how we were doing all we could to prop up the Salvadoran government.

The NYT crossword editor, Will Shortz, has been known to work with people on creating special requests within the crossword. I read of one time where he managed to work in a marriage proposal from one fan to another. I assume the result was positive as "piss off" would really be difficult to use as an answer.

I remember reading a long time ago that it was a common fear in the FBI that if you crossed J Edgar in some significant way, you would be administratively transferred to one of the Montana or North Dakota offices.

I don't think it could have been a bigger anvil. Guy argues with girl in bar, trying to get her to stay, mentions $1200 champagne. Mayfair breaks up argument. Guy leaves (???). Girl, who didn't want any champagne earlier, offers to split the rest of the bottle with Mayfair. They swap phone numbers. Could it be any more obvious? Maybe Mayfair needs to catch a ride with Weller on the way to Quantico.

I will defer to Bob Gunton in the post-escape jail cell scene in The Shawshank Redemption.

Weller, you need to go back to Quantico and ask the NATS for remedial instruction on arrest techniques. Dummy approaches an obviously dangerous suspect from the front and allows him to first get a grip and hand Weller's ass to him for a few minutes. I guess they needed the Senator alive so that they could claim justice with the charges. Like that Pharma Co. is actually going down, instead of paying a large fine.

Ouch. What I meant by the team grabbing the woman was that Henry probably convinced them that they owed it to the woman who gave him the intel on her. I thought they were related, but no matter.

I was expecting Shelby's dad to pull out a silenced pistol and plug Caleb right after he said "I'll go to the FBI." You NEVER say that when you're alone in the hotel room with the bad guys. Will, the CIA asset, is the same Will in the Academy? I missed something there. He was in Canada. Are private jets immune from ICE passport control when they cross borders? I loved that airport clerk who shut down everybody with the handcuff idea. Wrong! Thank you for playing. Next.

I think they just wanted her out of that situation because Henry leaned on the woman in the US to get information. Why did Stevie reference Single White Female? That movie is older than she is.

So England Dan is in the car, now. Quite literally, in fact. I liked Stevie's surprise at Elizabeth telling her she had less than admirable taste in men. That and Lt. Col. Dr. SpyDaddy ArmCandy is now Coach Hank, to boot. Hopefully they can find a cricket match somewhere so he, in turn, can learn how to bowl. I was impressed that Elizabeth had the stones to propose that devil's choice of a solution to the Marburg problem. Was that good-natured banter going on in the Secret Room, or was Henry bordering on the line with her? On the other hand, I was highly irritated with Jackson's tirade about bad news, and berating them into fixing the report to the President. How did the source on the ground know that there was a drone overhead, ready to drop the hammer? That would be a closely guarded secret.

That was a point I raised earlier. On such an important person, wouldn't someone want an autopsy? If they're planting the body somewhere, the police would get involved at the basic level. Has he no living relatives who would contact a mortuary to prepare the body for burial/cremation? Does OPA have a mortician on call so they can fix his broken skull up, Godfather-style?

It was interesting how they portrayed the escapee's frustration and fears about the general geography and how to get away. I can't imagine that feeling, not having any idea of where you are, where safety is, and even the basic directions, things we take for granted now.

I think you would be amazed at what gets transported from the factory to the armory.

It would be interesting to chart a separate course if Abby had instead glared right back at Olivia and Fitz and said "This is your mess. You're on your own. I quit. I'm calling the police." The last part being rather superfluous as Fitz would no doubt issue some explanatory decree that would absolve Olivia. I mean, as long as child murdering Tom is running around loose, what's the big deal with a quadriplegic ex VP with his head bashed in? And, yes, it would bring the entire house down, but, somewhere along the line you have to save your own soul, at least.

I think the lady redshirt was the organist for the ceremony. Aram pulled her off a chair and was trying to shelter her when she took one in the back. He must have been well sheltered by various cars, because I would think that Reddington's forces (or him inside) would have made it a priority to drop him at the first opportunity. To a henchman, If your paymaster is gone, that removes a lot of incentive to carry on the mission.
