  1. Not to be a Mary defender, cause I can't stand her, but it was probably sunscreen that gave her that bluish tint. This was pure gold. Cause you could see Heather sitting off to side looking like she just wanted to die and Mary said her name and she popped right up to share that it was "predator" and then her head wobbled right on back down. I was done!
  2. First time hearing that someone else was prioritized over Chris Pratt to die! 😂 Ethan Hawke is one of my favorite actors. And I also loved him here. Glad Elora got to meet him and her siblings, and that she now has a connection in the "big city" for when she goes to college. I also adored the counselor! I couldn't stop laughing during that entire scene, especially while he was singing the 49 song with the hair flips!
  3. Someone mentioned upthread that the books where the uncle is the main character are tied to shows on Netflix:
  4. If they were able to sell before the announcement of his death, then they would be the ones making the most profit.
  5. He sold it for 60 cents on the dollar, but Travis had his reddit friends purchase the crypto from whomever Sebastian sold it. As more and more people purchase, the price of crypto increases. So the intermediary bought at 60 cents each, but probably sold at $1-5 or more and made a heck more of a profit than Sebastian did.
  6. So damn dangerous! For that to work SAFELY, the trampoline needed to be longer and the contestants should have been told to jump at the front of it so that as the truck continued to move while they were in the air, they'd still have space to safely land back on the trampoline, and not like what happened to Tori. I'm shocked she didn't end up with a slipped disc or something. I noticed that too! Especially after they made a point of saying how the first one was adjusted. So what was point of that if they weren't going to be consistent throughout the entire challenge?!? I love how everyone has been all "My best friends/roommates/people I barely know won. I should be safe!"
  7. Of course the two shadiest bitches on the planet would meet up in prison and become BFFs. I wouldn't be surprised if they're planning their next joint scam.
  8. Those chaps.....WTF???? Damn it! I missed the chaps! That's what I get for multitasking. It's interesting that folks feel that Monica was bragging/proud about her relationship with her BIL. I didn't get that sense. Heather asked her 3-4 times why she was excommunicated, and she dodged it each time, until finally she answered. To me, she sounded a bit embarrassed. But this is one of the juiciest reveals since Atlanta's Drew leaving her gaslighting husband for a woman! Imma need all the Lifetime Movie backstory.
  9. Whitney doesn't like Angie. Whitney likes that she can use the other ladies' dislike for Angie as a way to create a new storyline for herself and she likes that Angie is so desperate to be a part of the show that she's willing to let herself be used.
  10. Best decision she's made yet. I don't care what the papers say that Marc signed, but I know deep down in my soul that he would have used that second kid against her. Sheree getting the "personal texts" against Drew is still perplexing. Part of me thinks it was Ralph, but the other part of me thinks it's from the assistant. But all of me know that it didn't just show up on Sheree's front porch...She definitely went looking for something to hold over Drew.
  11. Oh, I definitely caught that mention of sexy Julio! Also, how is Tommy supposed to be "dead", but everyone knows his full ass government name (Tommy Fucking Egan - I'm pretty sure that's his middle name, as I wouldn't put anything past Kate!).
  12. I really can't stand Claudia and hope she catches a stray Serbian bullet. BUT, I hope Walter Flynn stays alive long enough to see his business crumble to the ground for constantly underestimating her simply because she doesn't have "balls". Dude, the person you just put in charge is a drunk, who, even when sober, can't do shit right.
  13. A uhaul!?!?!?!? Girl, you too nice. Shit would have been on the lawn or in one of those ponds with the big fountains in the middle that they have in every one of those ATL gated communities. I KNOW!!!! Drew's sister is the living breathing embodiment of "Just 'cause I don't, doesn't mean I can't". That woman grew up in Chicago! She isn't taking any shorts from a former model, turned groupie, turned single baby's mama who looks like she weighs 150 with 140lbs head! When Courtney called Drew's sister a bitch and she did that about face and walked right back into the room, I thought it was over. And Courtney was standing there tee-heeing. I was like, "you about to get your head knocked off!"
  14. The dialect seems decent. I'm from the Caribbean, so I get the criticism, particularly when every Caribbean person on TV/in Movies speaks with a Jamaican accent or some non-descript Caribbean accent. I think everyone, with the exception of the actress playing Hailey, has been doing an amazing job. She doesn't do a good job of holding the accent. But apparently she's British, so she has to work overtime! 😂
  15. Andy during Drew's performance: So glad that Kenya spoke up cause I wasn't sure how all those women could sit there and listen to Ralph's bullshit as he tried to manipulate the conversation and continue to gaslight not just Drew, but all of us, as if he wasn't doing a lot of this on camera. I can't stand Drew, but if I was there, I would have kicked him in the balls. The way he set it up so that Andy would ask him if he was unfaithful, dodged the question with some nonsensical answer, then waited for Andy to ask Drew the same question so he group throw Ty in her face? Expert level manipulation. Same with his, "I've never been ALL around the world, so it can't be true." Me: What about in Tampa, bitch?!?! We all know you've been there! Textbook gaslighting! What a turd.
  16. I somehow missed the premiere last week and just caught up this morning! The lieutenant is hot! Where was he last season?!?! Something tells me that Abuela would end him before the thought even formed in his mind. That old lady scares me.... She was leering a lot and I thought she was a demon. I was like, did they add more supernatural elements to the show beyond Liliana's ghost voice? And if she was a prostitute, which wasn't very clear, she was a shit one because she didn't even negotiate the price.
  17. I know the show's about to wrap up for good, but I keep wondering how they could go this many seasons with not getting any acting lessons for the kid who plays Papa. He's so awful! And they keep trying to give him all this serious stuff to do. All the other kids are so good in comparison.
  18. I was laughing so hard at the BB and Survivor players during the daily. "Why won't [insert person's name here] share the answers?!?" What don't they get about this being an individual game? Also, to stay out of the hopper, you gotta actually win. This has been the only valuable lesson to come out of Johnny's mouth over his 1063 seasons. And Tori's BF trying to "figure out the mystery" of how we got so many votes. Really dude? You can't piece that together? That elimination looked hard as hell though!
  19. A couple of us watched it. Go to the media thread.
  20. @Avaleigh Me every time I read one of your comments speculating about what will happen on the show: I'm literally sitting on my hands over here! 😂
  21. I think it's very easy to talk about escaping from a small (sometimes dying) town, but in actuality, it's hard for many people to achieve. Very few people ever do, for a variety of reasons. And for the ones who do, a good proportion end up moving back, often because they've "failed", family obligations that pop up (like with the guy Hailey is sleeping with - cant' remember his name), etc.
  22. I think they're hoping for a similar downfall like they got with Jen. We all know Mary's running a cult! (Allegedly!) I'd bet they've seen a negative shift in their church income since the show started. And appearing on the show, even in a limited capacity, is a way to continuing supporting her lifestyle.
  23. I also enjoyed it! Given the state of Black Cinema (and the nonsense on Tubi 😂), it was up there in terms of storyline, production quality, and acting. The only things I didn't like was Drew's acting and some of the editing choices.
