They haven't been featuring Brooke Shields as a guest cohost this season. I liked her a lot, And she has done well, I think, appearing on the 3rd hour of Today occasionally. If they insist on keeping WG and NW - Brooke and Padma could work for me.

Actually I think WG is fragile ...and a bully. I think the clique at the table is awful. But then I don't like people that ignore a guest host and shut them down. Not because I think PL is was good.l. But it is a clique now never the less. Trying to protect their own jobs.......with a little help from WG?

I tuned in today (SIGH) because I heard they would be talking about The Book of Negroes. It was an outstanding mini-series and I highly recommend to anyone interested. The panelists seemed to be shutting out Padma? I'm over Nicolle......Guiliani is America's Mayor??? She was the Communications Director for Bush and is tech-challenged??? And now learning "the google?" And I wish she wouldn't answer her question to a guest within the question......it doesn't leave the guest with anything to say except WTH? And stop yelling. Of course we got WG saying "the truth of the matter...."

I think the only one in her family that plays chess would be Gracie.

Yikes....it WAS Stacy London that said re WG and the way she dresses "it is hard to take her seriously," although in a TVGuide article written by someone else, WG responded "you don't judge me by what I wear, you judge me by what I say." So funny! There is a commercial for an osteoporsis with Blyth Danner and she is wearing ivory slacks, ivory sweater, and a cape with ivory, grey and brown...gorgeous. Casual and comfortable as well.

Like, like, like....Cosmocrush! I also live in the Seattle area......and even being casual one can "dress up" and still be casual and comfortable. WG was indeed a slob.....not dressed like an event similar to all the other red carpet events she has attended and HOSTED. Rather than dropping in on the way to the grocery store. IMO WG is very happy BECAUSE there is NOT anyone to challenge her. Not a good mix on The View......or Whoopi's View as it has turned out to be. I'm curious...was it London that called WG out on her clothes for a huge event some years ago and WG was livid? One she hosted, iirc. I tuned in here and there today waiting for Slattery (actually kind of disappointed in that appearance) and missed the fanning bit but unfortunately saw the time she acknowledged an audience member did something (gas?) and declared "It wasn't me!) Oh - and again when she dropped her "last egg." Gross.

Oh joy - listening to WG give advice should be a real laugh on a sitcom. And being an EP......I'm out.

Good grief, just saw a photo of WG on the red carpet for the SNL celebration.....she is wearing uggs, black leggings, carrying her coat, and grey sweater - one breast is about 5" lower than the other. I'm all for casual, and some are on the carpet......but this get-up?

I think the problem for Williams is the number of stories while somewhere getting ready to report the news.......the above referenced on Letterman, but also his Katrina stories about the stadium and the body floating in the street that he saw from his hotel.....that wasn't under water. And there is another about a similar helicopter under attack during the Israel Hezbollah war back in 2006 .

I can't even imagine the number of requests RO get for donations,,,,,daily/weekly/monthly. Good job Cousin Amy, raising the money. Forgiveness is a very good thing. As are self pats on the back are a good thing.

Really Cosmocrush....RO is out there working all the time and now promoting her HBO show that took work, obviously, featuring her comedy and her cause for women's knowledge of their heart attacks . Let alone her net worth which is amazing. Much more than WG's. Which is quite significant. Plus RO has given multiple millions away, not just raised it. And adores her fans. And even goes into the audience and comes out having found a very interesting person and promoting them on the show (i'm thinking of the teen with the pop jewelery featured recently. And her on going Broadway kids charity and mentoring. Or bringing on guests that are special in their own right. WG slops out unprepared and.....well, it has been said over and over. Thing is WG does not celebrate her fans......just celebrities which she will defend to the death. Well, except RO which was a real threat to her, imo.

I think I am open to change and have grey hair, lol. But I like to recall the better times when I caught the show on days off from work.....and started watching regularly in 2005. But I doubt former co-hosts will return (except for Behar, perhaps, maybe intermittantly.) I doubt a viewer is going to have the warm and fuzzies about all 4 or 5 people on the panel the same season. There have only been 3 moderators on the show, iirc, Meredith, RO, WG. And BW filling in as needed. And they used to have better co-hosts years ago, imo. Behar, Jones sans her wedding nonsense, Ling. And of course Meredith. But they are those women I realize are that are not likely to return but there are some women out there with their caliber of brains and being informed. I get the need for blue cards, I guess. Especially for quotes one wants to be sure of or an outline of the days agenda. But relying on them is truly mind-boggling for me the was they do on the view. One thing I have never seen is a mod yelling don't tweet me, I don't care! Shaking a finger AT a person, or getting the last word in aft er saying NO NO NO! That's not how it is!" Things will definitely cool down if it is true they are on hiatus for 2 weeks.....good grief, during sweeps!

RO left the first time 7 or 8 years ago so I doubt they will go live 5 days a week.....although a great idea. I've been thinking.....this season WG didn't have BW to babysit her, as in the past years. So in comes RO to pick up any slack in the mod chair. Which she actually "had" to. I simply can't imagine NW or RP stepping up to the plate. Behar probably could. The show is in real trouble, imo, because surely ABC is aware of WG's performance. Albeit they are useless and not in real control of this show and not been for years. And have made very poor decisions on who to hire, endless try-outs from guest co-hosts that could not step up either. I doubt we will ever see, on this show someone like Vieira, Ling.....and even Behar (fulltime anyway) or Jones. I doubt anyone would "love" each and every co-host of any show. Let alone when it is a show for and about women (or was) and now they bash/bully us practically everyday. Instead we have had people like Sherri, Jenny, Elisabeth and so on and so forth.

Likey, over and over kaygeeret. I'm thinking RO was may have been promised more than she got when she signed up again. And WG didn't like that. The rest is history...... I really can't believe I thought WG this season would be a good thing after the last season and the firings.
