  1. Such a great finale and glad we got to see so many returning guests: Pimento, Teddy, Caleb the Cannibal, Bill, Gina, and of course our Fluffy Boy, Cheddar. Would’ve loved to see the Vulture and Kevin one last time too (although we did see him in a way lol). Just a great series overall. I’ll miss Thai show but certainly will return to it again and again.
  2. The Last Day: season 8, episode 9-10
  3. For the actors in other roles, something about being sent to another team or relegated? (I’m bad with coming up with punny names)
  4. If a Lego building is a castle to Amy and Jamie, that’s good enough for me.
  5. Just starting this show and I have to say: even though I don’t enjoy it, I can definitely relate to it. And though my situation is not as a down-trod housewife, how often I feel that I need to put on a smile and a happy face when others are around, but I’m quietly falling apart inside. And when others aren’t around, it gets dark real quick. The way the show has those hard cuts between the two work really well for me. The little ways that Murphy shows the cracks in the façade during the sitcom scenes is really great. And yes, definitely the character is her own enemy in this, pushing other away that might otherwise help her. But that’s how it seems a lot of times: when you’re deep in depression like that, you can’t see any way out at all. People offer help but it’s just unfathomable that anything could help, so you push it away. Anyway, it’s not traditional but I’m in to see where it goes.
  6. I think that just showing a little musical flirting between the two.
  7. This is my problem with entertainment these days in general. I’m certainly no prude and often an emphatic “fuck” is needed and well deserved. But the constant profanity is not necessary, limits the audience, and is just sloppy and unimaginative writing, in my opinion. That said, I am enjoying my this show in general and look forward to the mystery getting fleshed out.
  8. Oh man, you could tell Zach and Wayne thought they had the win in the bag and we’re soooo mad when the other guys got it. Made my heart happy since they’re my least favorite team. Now that this motion challenge is out of the way, I feel like the DIY team has a much better shot at it. They’re not technically savvy, but they are creative. But I don’t really have any team I’m rooting for, just kind of meh on everyone except Zach/Wayne.
  9. Boy, Daniel Gil was really putting on the fakey fake during his interview, wasn’t he? Even worse than usual. Overall, just not a great episode. And if next week is the last one - and we still have a number of stage 1 runners to go - that must mean a lot of people drop on stage 2. I have a feeling there’s no winner this year.
  10. And this one was written by Roy Fucking Kent himself, Brett Goldstein!
  11. I have a feeling this will end with Jake leaving the force, and his helping Doug Judy escape will be a contributing factor. But all the others will stay, still thinking they can make a difference.
  12. Totally late to it but I really loved this series. It didn’t try to be more than it was, yet did it well, with just the right number of episodes. And I thought KC was really great in it. The Megan plot line did seem disjointed at times but in the end I bought that the CIA was on to her for awhile. Looking forward to a second season.
  13. I took it as being on purpose for comedic effect. I assume the production would’ve hired a coach had they wanted a more fluent spoken Italian.
  14. In very poor, highly accented Italian, which was incredibly hilarious to me in that scene. I’m just getting around to watching this show but definitely enjoying it so far. KC’s got some good acting chops and is doing a wonderful job in this show. I didn’t watch Big bang theory but you can definitely see her comedic timing here.
  15. I was kind of worried that since this is last season, and with the current climate, they’d be shying away from police storylines and focusing more on the character’s home lives, but they really are continuing to tackle real life issues. Good on them!
  16. Is this the plan for the whole of season 8? Just burn through the episodes, two per week?
  17. I love how this show skirts the line between heartwarming and schmaltzy so well. Another show doing those same story lines would’ve been waaay too over the top. But they really walked that line well this episode.
  18. Halloween: season 1, episode 6 Halloween II: season 2, episode 3 Halloween III: season 3, episode 5 Halloween IV: season 4, episode 5 HalloVeen: season 5, episode 4 Cinco de Mayo: season 6, episode 16 Valloweaster: season 7, episode 11
  19. While I agree to an extent (and I applaud them for seeking out a variety of teams), I do feel like before this week, the weakest team always got eliminated - it just unfortunately was the older, female, and POC teams. This week however was a real injustice. The geek brothers should’ve gone home. There was no way to judge the car’s strength and thus, they failed. There’s no question in my mind that the Utah Moms got the shaft this week.
  20. ‘The Kid’ Owadi with his porn-stache needs a new nickname.
  21. And yet they’re also quick to poke fun at the contestants. But since it’s always good natured and done within the confines of performance on the course, it’s not mean-spirited. I love that it’s a wholesome show because of that!
  22. 3 minutes of van racing dude at the beginning for him to fail on 3rd obstacle. Boo! Bad show! So thrilled Meagan Martin hit the buzzer. Overall, even though the youngsters are being hyped up and doing well, the veterans are still being more consistent and faster. And I’m happy to see David Campbell and Brian Kretsch still hanging on.

I have a feeling Jordan is happy to be on the team. Also, it’s that time again when I’m reminded how much I dislike Tim Daggert.
  24. This snuck up on me as the season finale. I really dig this show. A little bit of a slump mid-season (and still not sure what Brad’s brother had to do with anything) but this final episode especially was great. Anyone know about a season 3?
