  1. The only thing I can figure is that possibly more dramatic signage was against town code, but in looking it up, it seems like that applies more to lighting at night. So, I don't know why they weren't able to put a big basic freakin' sign there. https://www.codepublishing.com/AZ/Winslow/
  2. I remember them saying something about tunnels in that episode. I guess that's better than a dumpster?!
  3. There was a recent real life case of this happening. https://people.com/human-interest/ohio-woman-dies-after-head-trapped-between-car-payment-machine/
  4. When the spider owner was showing the pet sitter the guest room where he'd be staying, he said something to the effect of, "This used to be their room" (implying they were loose in it) but he had special habitats/cages made for them. So I guess he missed a few spiders and/or eggs.
  5. Heather's Youtube channel has lots of videos of the house. https://www.youtube.com/c/heatherdubrow/videos
  6. He's not stalking; he's observing! I'm currently in the middle of a Fringe re-watch & it amuses me whenever Watson is watching whatever. (Michael Cerveris played September one of the Observers.)
  7. She totally should have let Wendell do something with that piano. I bet it would have been amazing.
  8. A little update on the names from Naren Shankar on Twitter.
  9. Garrity, K. may be author Shaenon K. Garrity (not familiar with her). Ochai, H. and Levine, R. are scripted names/characters in the episode.
  10. Yes, I loved that! There's also R(ick) Deckard (Blade Runner), D(uncan) Idaho (Dune) and J(ack) O'Neill (Stargate), plus S(arah) Connor (Terminator)!
  11. Well. I hate the changes to the Tyler/Prophet story from the book (which I read fairly late into the show) and thought the whole Hamlet therapy bit was awful. I think they were attempting to bring everything full circle and tie all the characters together at the end, but blah. The first episodes were far stronger than the last few; this show did not need 10 episodes (which is true of many many shows).
  12. I was really hoping Julie Benz would be the one who had injured that guy. Like a female Dexter! I guess it could still work out given that he was one of the coyotes and she was talking about them transporting people in the area.
  13. I think she died when she saw (hallucinated?) the astronaut.
  14. I'm pretty sure the furniture store guy who opened up his business to people needing shelter was based on "Mattress Mack" (real name Jim McIngvale) who opened up his stores during several storms in Texas in the past few years. https://people.com/human-interest/mattress-mack-opens-mattress-stores-again-texas-winter-storm-snow-houston-those-in-need/
  15. The kids gave me a Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome vibe: And the scene where Kirsten kills those men looked like the White Walker pattern from Game of Thrones which isn't super shocking since Jeremy Podeswa is an Executive Producer on this show.
  16. I watched! It wasn't the worst thing I've watched this year. 😄 They can always do a spinoff called "Me & My Zombie Dad"! Also anytime they said fracking it reminded me of Battlestar Galactica. The last episode seems to have beeped most of the cursing. Why? It's at 11pm at night, my time so it's not like it's going to damage small children or something.
  17. I don't think that I am supposed to be laughing at things like the zombie catapult/trebuchet, but I am.
  18. When they had Morgan pinned down and were shooting away from him to get Al to give up her info, I thought at first he was yelling, "OW!!" rather than "Al!" and that amused the hell out of me.
  19. That's not how animal microchips work (that you can scan them with a phone app & then go to a miraculous database that tells you everything about them) but okay ... I just consider this an alternate reality and kind of go with it.
  20. I had to shut it off and go to sleep because it was really dragging. Bloody white kid is the son of the detective who had his finger bitten off so that may be why they kind of let it slide. I miss Z Nation. This show does seem to have a bit of humor but it's not really jelling for me. And really the only Romero connection is zombies and character names. I'm actually getting more of a Stephen King/Pet Sematary vibe.
  21. I'm not gonna believe it's that guy's body just because of a watch (prominently shown several times) and some shoes. Just sayin'.
  22. I finished watching the third season. The Siberian Husky (S3E6) is my favorite with his ever so slow and methodical work including the most polite & gentle bitework ever. "I'm sorry, sir - I must hold on to your arm for 3 seconds, okay?"
  23. I hope they had a structural engineer check things out before putting that hot tub on the third floor. That's a lot of weight when you fill it with water.
  24. HOAs: far more terrifying than zombies or vampires. Perhaps in a future season of AHS? I think ending on her killing her father would have worked better. Very Bad Seed! The actress did a great job.
