I think that's the biggest problem. I enjoy the detectives but so much is done now with "let's pull up the CCTV footage" - even the British detectives don't use it as much. I've been watching some of the Lupo/Bernard years and they are still knocking on doors, following leads - and they aren't chasing perps every ep. It's getting ridiculous. The legal side, especially compared to Cutter & Rubirosa, is really awful. I don't have any sense of the two of them, there's no drive to the legal part at all. They barely cite cases, it really seems like they are caught flatfooted every week in court. And another thing - where are my cheesy "Law & Order twist" commercials, NBC?

Well, I guess we didn't see anyone stabbed so it's a step up? Why do they keep making the cops chase people? It's getting to be a cliche by this point. The conflict with the suspect was good but then we find out in act 4 that Riley had interviewed the perp earlier? Did that come up and I missed that too? We really are. Thanks for the transcript!

I just have to say this somewhere, but when Johnny Weir was calling Brown & Brown and said "I don't know what Eric Carmen and Rachmaninoff have in common" or however he phrased it, I wanted to leap through the screen. "All By Myself" is based on Rachmaninoff 2d, is no one in the research department old enough to have listened to Casey Kasem? He brought that up on American Top 40! Anyway, I loved that they finally put that Terry was a national champ in the commentary graphic and it was so cute that Terry was touched. On the medal drama, I cannot with the ISU. I just cannot. The US should have bolted back in the day when they tried the World Skating Federation back in '03.

OMG this one was an absolute mess. Epitomized by Price seemingly bringing in evidence in his closing? The jury is wincing at his description of the murder as if it's the opening, not the close? Did I miss something, like Riley? Riley must be Super Cop if he slugged a superior officer while drunk and is still a first grade detective? He should have replaced Logan at Staten Island for that. I don't have any idea what is going on at L&O these days. None.

That's my question and worry as well. It's so bizarre how it's been announced. I hope he does get a good sendoff, not losing an election or something. Also, again, Jack isn't the problem on that side. The court folks are where the problem is. Someone needs to go and, at this point, I'm fine with either of them. Although the writers can go first.

That was a mess. I’m still not sure what Cosgrove did but at least we found out something. Jury is out on New Guy (and hopefully won’t deadlock) but at least they aren’t screaming at each other, so win there. Really hope this is the end of the message episodes. You would think Wolf of all people would take the “if you want to send a message, use Western Union” (now I guess that’s social media) to heart. Also, I really really hate seeing the victim murdered.

As someone who lives in the general area where this house is, yeah, hard pass. It's beautiful and a quality builder but that location is scary. We don't get as many hurricanes currently as the other side of the state but marsh side is a bad choice. We just got hit by that storm on Tuesday and we're having more and more of those types of unnamed, not hurricane, storms. The builder also built the Smart Home in 2013, which I was able to see in person. I contacted them and they said HGTV won't let anyone tour anymore.

And we have still never learned what happened to Lupo...I guess he really did join the FBI! I've been watching the 19 and 20 eps as they've come around on cable and they really were a good team.

Shaw did a couple of interrogations last season where he so sliced up the suspects that I absolutely co-sign this opinion. I didn't think much of Price before but after the one last season where he didn't tell the whole truth when he was involved with the murder victim and at the crime scene, I really soured on him too.

Barek didn't get an exit either, and then when she was on SVU, apparently mentioned Goren not Logan? All we got of her leaving was some kind of snap from Ross to Logan about bringing Barek back if he didn't like Wheeler and that was just a "huh?" moment. After that first case, they seemed to get along. Ross and Wheeler just sunk the Logan side way down too plus Eames gets kidnapped and they don't even mention Logan and Wheeler in the mix somehow. All kinds of weird.

I loved the whole Riverdance challenge and I could swear that I could hear Padraic calculating with Corey...."could we teach him, he picked it up pretty quick, he looks great in the costume." I swear, I didn't notice his eyes were blue until that. John was terrific too (although I was thinking "yeah, you can play an instrument but that doesn't mean you can dance..." but it did for him!). Steve was charming because he didn't get frustrated (I think Anna Leigh would have melted down) and he seemed to be honestly enjoying it (and was sort of still line dancing). Team Beard (sorry, I still haven't sorted their names - I made it through all of GBBO confusing Josh and Matty) was great because he made that comment about keeping going and tried so hard. He reminded me of Woz on Dancing with the Stars (Steve Wozniak of Apple) who was trying so hard and was cheerful about how bad he was. I'm so happy with this final three - for the first time in a long time, maybe ever, I don't want a team to lose.
