  1. Unfortunately you will never get to talk smack about the TV shows because by then, everybody will have moved on. Trash talking the TV shows in a group can be way more entertaining than the show will ever be. You just reminded me that I have to remove this show from my list of shows that I follow.
  2. Having the little girl there really drove home how foul Cliff's language and attitude really was. It just made it more obvious why things went wrong with Cliff's daughter.
  3. When they said stealing, I was thinking of something much worse. Most of it was borrowing, except for a few snacks (under $20.00) that could easily be replaced by a trip to a big box store.
  4. A great family friendly and inclusive comedy. Who knew dogs like foot massages.
  5. I am pretty sure they said enough for a city (probably not a large city) especially since they only have half the amount (functional) than they think they have, the results would be scattered. ZIP would be a great way to rob banks and jewelry stores, throw the ZIP in, walk in a few minutes later and you can take whatever you want and you don't have to kill anyone.
  6. Don't know why Larry is rolling tiny joints, shouldn't he just give Jane the materials so she can make her own. I don't know where Jane got the tiny lighter from unless some of their personal items were shrunk down with them.
  7. How is Madeline supposed to run for Vice-President if her son just drops off the face of the Earth. That doesn't seem suspicious at all. I guess when she is standing on the podium with her family, she will be all by herself.
  8. Not the same person, Ana Fabrega is Esther and Moujan Zolfaghari is Puja
  9. Cassette Tape Recorder labeled 1988: (I think Cliff Steele died in 1988) Next to the Cassette Tape Recorder is an envelope labeled San Bernadino, Paraguay
  10. I don't know if this is the best place for it, but I would love to hear what people think is going on in the opening credits, or who each of the images is referencing. I will give it a shot: Cassette Tape Recorder labeled 1988: (I think Cliff Steele died in 1988) Reel-To-Reel Tape Recorder: Glass Eyeballs: Cliff Steele Brain on a Plate: Cliff Steele Melting Girl in a Shower: Rita Farr Robotic Hand strangling a Giraffe: Cliff Steele (thinking about present for daughter) Four Eyed Girl Jigsaw Puzzle: Crazy Jane Various Lab Equipment including Syringes and Cockroach: Niles Caulder or Crazy Jane with her origin/drug use or Ezekiel the Cockroach Numerous Vials of Blood: Crazy Jane Numerous Painting Supplies: Magical Painting Old TV playing a Old Black and White Movie: Rita Farr Ice Cream Melting on a Wheel Chair: Rita Farr and Niles Caulder Lady Hand Melting in the Tub: Rita Farr Robot With Brain Exposed: Cliff Steele Plane Crashing and Breaking: Larry Trainor A Head in Bandages Revealing Flowers and Maybe a Skull and Maybe a Robotic Eye?: Cliff Steele or Larry Trainor or Victor "Vic" Stone A Wisp of Smoke turning into the Doom Patrol Logo: Larry Trainor What do you guys think they mean?
  11. If you watch Doom Patrol on HBO Max on a browser on your computer, there is a video called Doom Patrol: Season 1 Recap there. Unfortunately there is almost no way to access this video as there are almost no links to it and it doesn't appear when you search for it. Here is the link: https://play.hbomax.com/extra/urn:hbo:extra:GXvO2xAbGiMJZjgEAAAJt Here is a website that also wrote a recap of Season One of Doom Patrol which also has links to more detailed recaps of all the episodes. 12. "First Dates" – Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00pm ET/PT In this very special episode of At Home with Amy Sedaris, Amy shows us how to prepare for a first date, by preparing for a first date. Soon she will meet in person the man she's been corresponding with through a letter-writing romance. Before he arrives, Amy prepares a meal, crafts a special gift and enlists Chassie for a makeover. She also talks flower arrangements with Patty Hogg and practices, "first dating" with first date expert Tony the Knife Man. Will Amy's first date work out? Will Amy get stuck in a cage? Will her meal explode? Tune in to find out!
  13. I was really hoping the 70's credits would have ended with "and Jeff Ward as Deke". Some research on the phrase lead me to believe this: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.”- Henry David Thoreau written in November 1850 Although I don't believe that Thoreau actually gave a clear explanation for this saying, it likely means, If you find a trout in your milk, it is certain that the Dairy Farmer is diluting your milk with water, you don't need any more evidence than that. But back in those days, I am guessing that milk wasn't pasteurized and water went directly from the stream into your mouth. Two things that I find disturbing. But, that saying may or may not be true, as that is not the only way that a trout could end up in the milk. I would be happier if the Dairy Farmer, while washing his large milk container in the stream, a trout happened to get stuck inside, the milk container is clean, the milk is 100 percent pure (except for this one time when there was this fish), and the Dairy Farmer is a honest, decent, hard working fellow.
  14. Wasn't the cat on one of those carts filled with food like they use in fancy hotels for Room Service. That was confusing. Maybe he has his hacking catered.
  15. In the Green Lanterns I am familiar with the ring goes and finds a new owner when the old one dies. Maybe somebody got the ring a long time ago, but never got the lantern to power it up. The only person the lantern lit up for was Pat.
  16. This is where networks do their: "Let's see if the show can stand on it's own two feet." However, as I history has shown: "If it's working, don't break it." I don't watch The Goldbergs or The Conners and they have been on way too long for me to start, even if I did decide I wanted to start watching them. It would have been better to place a new Comedy there so the entry point wouldn't be so steep, if they were trying to attract new/different viewers to any of those shows. I guess that is why we have DVRs so that no matter where they put it, we will still be able to watch it.
  17. With all the people who have died since the TV show started, the drawers should be about empty by now.
  18. American Horror Stories, the American Horror Story spinoff will appear on Hulu through their "FX on Hulu" brand.
  19. Jenifer Lewis, who plays Ruby on Black-ish, was inducted into the 2021 Hollywood Walk of Fame and will be receiving a star in a ceremony which is currently on hold due to the corona virus pandemic.
  20. The Equalizer is a reimagining of the classic series starring Academy Award nominee Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. McCall presents to most as an average single mom quietly raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is The Equalizer – an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption.
  21. I found a source that says this is coming to Netflix, July 2nd. She doesn't seem to have a lot in common with Warrior Nun Areala. I guess I will soon find out.
  22. I was surprised that they didn't try to keep it with Mix-ish since the have the same demographic. Sometime I thought they were coordinating their story lines. I am not sure if black-ish shares the same demographic as The Goldbergs and The Conners.
  23. It took me out of the show because the Mexican lady looked, talked and acted like an older version of Yo-Yo from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
  24. I think the train authorities did something to keep the Tailies from having children. I think the cable allowed whatever that was to be controlled by the train's computers. Possible mild spoiler: Mr. Wilford might have put himself in one of the drawers as a way to wait out the boring part of the journey, to be awakened when they start colonizing the Earth again. They paid their money when it still had value, enough value to build the train and the (Hundred Thousand?) miles of track. They brought a ticket, so they get to ride the train till they reach their destination. If you sign a contract to do a job at a certain price, can't come back at the end of the job and say you want more money because the job was way harder than you thought it would be. That is a TV Show thing, I don't know how many times I have seen shows where a scientist should be using their brain and science to find a way to kill a monster, instead they grab a gun and crawl around hunting the monster with all the rest people. Why pay other actors to be on the screens when your stars can do the exciting thing themselves, whether they are qualified are not.
  25. Unfortunately the show is Alien Prosthetic Makeup and Computer Generated Green Screen Space Locations heavy, even if they started back up right away there would still be a ton of pre and post production work that would have to be done to make each episode, so new episodes will not come out quickly.
