I wonder who's place Homelander and Stormfront were wrecking? Was Starlight smart enough to get copies of Stormfront's files.
-
Because everybody who used to work there is now retired and there's nobody left at Vought who would recognize her as Liberty? If Liberty was moved to a new city and had a costume and name change, I don't think anybody would recognize her, especially back in that time period.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Stormfront didn't own Vought since she has probably been around since the company was founded. That might explain why Stan Edgar would say that Homelander is not the most important person in the company.

S02.E03: Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men
AnimeMania replied to Bort's topic in The Boys
I am sure that everyone they meet is staring at their cellphones. -
I don't think they said William was dead, just that Lancaster shot William in the back and left him for dead. I especially don't think the woman that Leti hit in the head with a gun is dead because that might mean that Leti is the murderer and I don't think the show would go there. Here is what happened in the book, please don't read unless you want to know.

Everybody was supposed to "embrace the gray" since you aren't allowed to go to hair salons. I am sure they will be all dyed up by the time shooting starts. I hope they won't be wearing masks because I won't be able to tell who anybody is.

Most American soldier relationships were probably "What happens in Korea, stays in Korea." Told so skillfully in "The Clash" song "Straight to Hell" about the children made during the Vietnam War. Since this is Tic, there will be genuine feelings involved and he would probably want to bring her to America. But, (I am guessing) she is psychic, somehow in tune the the language of the Book of Names and wanted no part in the journey that Tic was going to be making. I am not sure that Lancaster would have been able to pull the trigger to shoot William in the back if he was the same person as Christina at that time.

This is exactly what I was trying to point out since it seemed that is what they were alluding to. Albert Einstein "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results."
-
I think the point was that Sue 2.0 said that she couldn't have children and now that she actually has one, she can't imagine her life without one. I think the official title is "Head Cheese".

William said: A butterfly lives a full life before it dies. And a caterpillar emerges from the same cells, the essence of the butterfly, yet different. To me, this statement is "technically" correct. There was one scene that kind of bothered me: Leti: This is evil. It's the devil's tools. It is corrupting all of us. No, no. Tic: Leti, Leti, it's not. Look, it... It's not inherently evil, all right. It's what we do with it that matters. What we wanna do? Protect ours. How can that be bad? To me this sounds exactly like what the White People are doing, unless you are willing to protect everybody, I don't see how the outcome would be any different. Unless, Tic is referring to magic protecting Black People as providing a balance to the scales that are tipped in White People's favor. This episode seems to be about anger and how it is like a stone that you skip across a lake it doesn't just hit the lake once, but multiple times. That anger can be directed at one person and then that person takes that anger and directs it at someone else, and so on and so on, etc., etc., etc. I am not sure they gave a good solution to the problem, the closest seemed to be Montrose and his lover, where Montrose gave him anger and he managed to convert it into pleasure. Does that mean that everybody should become masochists. If all the stuff in Ruby's resume was true, she was overqualified to be a Saleswoman and the hiring guy saw that, even if Ruby didn't. Too bad Ruby didn't want to work anywhere else but Marshal Field.

I felt the majority of this episode would be considered filler, not really advancing the story much. I am not sure how much effort I should put in to understanding what happened in context to what is happening in the rest of TV Series. I would have preferred that they follow Hippolyta and Diana's journey to figure out what happened to Uncle George, it seems like that won't happen in the next episode either. P.S. Where was that garage that Tic and Leti was having sex in? Did the sheriff have black skin grafted onto his body?

I tried to find them on Amazon but there's only the episodes and the clips that they put out before the season started ☹️ If you are watching on a computer and you PAUSE the episode, the words X-Ray appears on the screen. If you click on X-Ray, a menu appears with lots of choices Scenes In Scene Bonus Content Cast Characters Music Trivia. These menus are context sensitive, so if you pause the video, it shows you the actors names that are currently on the screen. If you paused the video while The Deep's gills were singing it told you that Patton Oswald was the voice of The Gills. Other things that can be found in this section was that the singing was actually done by Starlight. The Deleted Scenes and the Scene Commentary can be found under the Bonus heading. This EXTRA Content is not something that was done just for The Boys, but can be found on most on the videos viewed on Amazon Prime, a very worthwhile feature.
