The Amber Ruffin Show - General Discussion
AnimeMania replied to AnimeMania's topic in The Amber Ruffin Show
I thought it was pretty funny. Shows like this without an audience tend not to be very funny, I suspect the show will get even funnier when she gets her audience. -
There was a deleted scene (in the X-Ray section) in the episode where A-Train gets kicked off of The Seven, where A-Train is talking to his accountant about how much debt he is in and where all his money was going. The accountant mentions that A-Train owns an island that he has never been to. Since Stormfront is Vought's wife, I was guessing that she owns the company. It just makes you wonder why Stan Edgar is the face of the company. The X-Rays said that Kimiko and Annie met when she helped Kimiko, Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother's Milk get away from A-Train in Season 1.

I am surprised that all Stormfront's test subjects aren't Blond, Blue-eyed hunks and hunkettes. Why would she risk giving superpowers to races that were not worthy of them, inferior races would only result in inferior superpowers.

Season 2 has already aired in Canada and will begin airing is the US on October 7 on The CW at 9 p.m.

The preview for the next episode seems to imply otherwise.

I wonder if Lamplighter's costume was inspired by Watchmen? Starlight straight up murdered that dude.

Sounds like a live action "My Hero Academia (Boku No Hero Academia)".

There is a great deal of information about the Mithras Religion in the Raised By Wolves: The Podcast Ep. 4: The Cult of Mithras, be aware that you should watch episodes 8 and 9 before listening to this podcast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzumOKygruM

Yes, I was thinking that Young-Ja might have confessed to being the spy (even if she wasn't) because she was in love with Ji-Ah and Ji-Ah was the next one in line to be killed. I didn't like that Tic is wearing glasses all his life except when he joins the military, you would think that would be the time when being able to see things clearly would be the most important. I am an expert in tentacle porn (don't believe me look at my name) and

Was Hands implying that she was in the wheelchair because she had sex with somebody that was wearing the exo-suit?

Enola was very bad at fighting, the only person she seemed that she might be able to beat was her Martial Arts instructor.

Breaking the Fourth Wall: She-Hulk in the Media
AnimeMania replied to Meredith Quill's topic in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
I was just thinking that someone like "Liz Cambage" the basketball player would have been perfect in the transformed state, just a little green paint, I don't think they need to go CGI. There is something super sexy about a very tall, strong woman, so I would prefer to see a real live one. Find an actress that resembles her to be the normal state. -
Smart enough? I'm sure she's smart enough to do that if it were possible. But I don't see how she would have possibly had the time, nor did she appear to have any kind of storage device to transfer them to. It was hard for me to tell how long she had been in there since she waited until Stormfront had been called to the set before she entered. Everybody has a Smart Phone, she would have to know how to send them to herself without being caught.
